Just got into the hobby about 3 months ago and still learning ALOT! So appreciative of your videos, each one I am picking up new tips and tricks to better my strategy in game.
Oh man, I might try to make some space in my list for Ophydians after that. Right now the biggest issue with what I run is that all my reserve stuff are strategic, nothing has deepstrike and so I'm stuck on the board edges. I was kinda skeptical about the Praetorians, because of their price and their fragility (they're great hitter, but costly action monkeys), but Ophydians really seems to fill the point scoring hole in SA. Keep up the good work, it's really giving me ideas!
Hey mate, im playing in nottingham gt as my first gt with star shatter your videos have helped me understand the detachment and start to think about how to play the game. Thanks
Awesome videos! You explain a lot of thing so clearly! Will you make some live reports? And what is your strategy against hord armies, wich one try to lock you in deployment zone? I feel like startshatter too slow agaisnt them and comeback at turn 3 is a luck(
What you call a misplay actually was a mistake by your opponent. Bloodsurge moves are towards the closest enemy unit, not at the closest you can see. In order to move towards that unit in question they had to move along the wall towards the units blocking them on the other side which would have moved them into that unit on the other side of the wall if possible. Always remember that Bloodsurge is into the closest enemy unit, and can be blocked by forcing them to slide along walls
Would love to see this list play vs a tank heavy list. Something like the current Space Marine meta with Vindicators and Gladiator Lancers that can obliterate Silent King in a turn
Exactly the same thought. All the danish World Eaters players who play in the WTC national team, just charge him out, because you only need a triple six to resummon him. They have a 3d printed blood point scoreboard, with all the list summons, and don`t even include the Angron summon, beacuuse it is so easy to get. So I really don`t get why World Eaters plays the way he does.
@@saarlann Agreed...he is a massive distraction that HAS to be dealt with which means you get to stage all your other units for a turn two multi charge.
This was very interesting as WE are without question my hardest match-up. I play HCL or Awakened not SSA and with C’tan but no TSK so just having enough AP1/2 shooting can be tough. Large berzerker packs with MoE and blood surge are an absolute menace!
Love to see the Ophydians (totally not Wraiths :D)! I got 6 of them and I feel like they can be a great scoring units that also got the potential to harass opponents with their AP2 D2 attack, nothing to scoff at! Unfortunately S4 but they can deal with small enemies well enough!
Hello is there something wrong with your listing of Units? i got your Units in a list and they ad up to 2055 points. maybe iam wrong but i dont think so anyway great Battlereps, found you a few weeks ago and loving every Video as a main Necron player(sadly i dont get to play that often)
8:09 - you say "spend a CP for -1d on the Stalker", but there's no such strategem in Starshatter. Not sure if you just misspoke, or if it was a play error. Has to be cast via the enhancement on one of your Hexmarks during your Command Phase. Hexmark needs to be within 6'' to select the stalker to select it for the -1d buff.
Do you still stand by your decision to run the Stalker with the gauss array loadout? I've never seen the extra range make much difference in any of your batreps. I run mine with heat rays and having a flamer for overwatch and a casino cannon has been super useful, and I've never needed the extra 6" for stripping cover.
What about playing against chaos knights? I had my first game against them and it was a disaster, cuz I followed the advice to play a fix(did it the first time too) 6 oc is not enough to steal a sticky objective from them. So not the best my shooting + a lot of his 5++ made me feel that the second DDa is not enough to deal with CK. Wanna try nightbringer next time
Now I think chrono-impedence doesn't worth it. Are someone committed hard to kill tsk? Only in one battle report maybe, tell me if I'm wrong Like orphidians, wanna test it too
@@Nico-0103 yep it's best, but 2d3 reanimation on point+ in ur turn is enough to have at least one menhir. But the hexmark with enchantment is 100 points. And u probably have Spyder and reanimator too. -1 damage just good against D2 profile. How often does your TSK take it?
@@PhotoGraf-k7ewhat makes you think it isn’t worth against D3 or D4? It’s still 25-30% damage reduction and a menhir may tank 3 instead of 2 D3 shots because of it.
With all due respect for your friend/team mate, but you really need to find a better World Eaters player to train against, because he really doesn`t push the World Eaters list to its maximum effiency, and as mentioned by others, he played the Bloodsurge ability wrong. You have to bloodsurge towards the closest enemy.

Another great report. I think that Angron did not put you under enough pressure, Essentially his points were wasted.

11:00 how can you shoot with both heavy destroyers there? One is behind the ruin or do i miss smth?
Was wondering the same thing myself..
Yes they are over the 6 inch line, or i could rotate the guns to get me extra LOS, dumbest thing in the game but here we are
@@PNW40K you mean the 6invh line from the terrain? Because I believe you can only draw line of sight from one point of the base, not the model

did u pass all 4 units fall back tests on that top obj with the x8b?!
3 of the 4, TSK gives +1 LD to anyone within 6 lo because why not
What was your list for that game?
Your opponent plays really defensively with Angron, which seems a big part of the loss. Why not get more aggressive, especially since he can res?
Noob here. Why did you put your units 1 inch from the wall in turn 1?
Prevent a unit from charging
Flayed Ones are just 3 extra CP for a Votann enemy.
