Video came out great Steve! Congrats to everyone involved in the project as things are coming along nicely. Can't wait to see it in person in December.
I wish other directors were as passionate as their movies as Bob Gale is! You can see his enthusiasm when he talks about the bttf series, just watch the extra features or commentaries.
I hope I can make it down there one day to see it is in person. I got to see the Ecto-1 in person and, well, it was memorable to see that car up close. Any plans for this car or one like it to go on a convention tour?
The third Delorean (called the "C" car) was cut into 2 halves, to make it easier to film inside of it. I'm not sure where the remains of that car are. So, we are restoring the only remaining car from the first film.
This was the fate of the 7 Deloreans used on BTTF trilogy (correct me if i am wrong) A car: Restored B car: Destroyed by train at BTTF part 3 C car: Cut in half to easy camera access D car: (a.k.a. fiberglass Delorean) Destroyed E car: (a.k.a. stunt car wheelie) At Universal Florida F car: (a.k.a. Desert car 1) Maybe at Universal Studios Hollywood backlot G car: (a.k.a. Desert car 2) Restored, now in private hands
FWIW i saw another car on the universal back lot (not the original encased in glass by the Transformers 3D ride) and the front grill looks different. Which car is that? I have a picture of it if you want to see it.
Can anyone confirm this is car #5204, that's what it looked like on the VIN plate. (had to play is 20 times). I know the car from the desert scene in BTTF III was #4689.
Is amazing, i love the trilogy , but now the delorian is ready, you should think about make another movie, not a IV, shoot the whole movie again, but im sure the scenes will be better with all new technology, but the same history and THE SAME DELORIAN, this would be awesome, please make the movie again, i know everybody will agree with me.

You're correct about the A, B, C, D & G car. I'm not sure about the other two, but you very well may be right.

Woo hoo!!!
I tried to recreate the VIN plate from screenshots, I think you are right. (I could not paste a URL with the image, Error occurs).
It may be away from the weather but will it be away from trains?

I believe the VIN is 5261. But I'd need to check to be sure.

Wait, i heard they had 3 deloreans, one got destroyed on the train scene, where is the other one?
I thought the "B" Car was a 1:1 reproduction of the RailRoad DeLorean?

Sure, send me a picture. But I bet it's most likely a replica that was built for promotional purposes.
Remaking first parts would be a disaster...
