Hello that was great.I've been watching BACK TO THE FUTURE all weekend on the movie channels.
Hard to believe such an iconic, universally recognizable piece of movie history was left to rot for so long. Glad it got restored and receives the recognition it deserves.
They did that with the 59 cadillac that was Ecto 1a
Loving all the nerdy details and history behind THE Delorean! One of my favorites movies for sure :)
So cool! I never get tired of seeing the BTTF DeLorean, I'm glad that they put in here so it can be seen better. They impala pinata was cool too.
Thanks for sharing the sheer awesomeness of the Delorean. I too could stand there all day and stare at it. I would have an immense case of goosebumps seeing and approaching the original car in person. You're a fortunate man! Love the channel!
I saw the Delorean used in ‘Back to the Future’ in person. Very impressive. I was very surprised at the amount of detail. I also saw the mall that was in the background of the first movie when the Delores was being tested. Although to be fair, it’s a public location. Anyone can enter. Inside of the mall is the ‘Twin Pines Mall’ sign seen at the beginning of the movie.
Looks like a cool museum! Good to see Jay and that you're making videos more frequently!

I was obsessed with these movies growing up. used to watch them almost every day and I believed hoverboards and all of it was real! I remember I actually cried when my parents told me they weren't real. Thanks for doing this video. Also I love how you broke out into song when you saw the delorean😂 you are a ray of sunshine in our lives

Adam, as always, I must thank you for going on adventures for us, and not even asking our Mom. Love the BTTF DeLorean, and seeing my favorite Batmobile in the same place was an added bonus. "Let's see if you bastards can do 90!"
I remember seeing the Delorean during a tour of the backlot. It was all covered in leaves and dust with a couple flat tires. I was bummed during the rest of the tour thinking of how the studio could let that star car sit like that. Then about 10 years later, it was all cleaned up and sat along a row of star cars from BTTF 2. I felt a little better.

AWESOME VIDEO ADAM!!! My 6 year old daughter and I started watching this video this morning, and as soon as she saw the Time Machine she said we need to go see that place. So we got dressed an headed to LA. We spent 3 hours there looking at all the cars and motorcycle and had a great time. As soon as we got home we finished today’s video and she was so excited that the cars in your video we just saw in person.
Thank you for showing us the Peterson Museum and making a little girls day. The highlight for her was the Time Machine as well.

The "A" on the door of the time machine was actually placed there by the production team during the making of the movies. You can see it there in Back to the Future part 2 when they are in the alley in 2015.
BTTF, My favorite movie of all time, glad they moved it out of Universal and it has been restored. Your friend and his buddies did an awesome job. This is on my list of places to visit when I arrive in the area, the museum looks awesome.

If you bothered watching the third movie you would have found out that this can not be the delorean , as it was wiped out by a train 🤔

@@iamasmurf1122 That was the C car or the third one. A car for interior and close ups, B car for stunts, and C car was one they could film parts of like the dashboard or the side window from the inside

Delorean’s didn’t have airbags Adam. The hatch on top of the dash is the glovebox.

You're not the only one, I think it would be around $110,000. You can get one that's not just screen accurate but also has the door opening sounds and the plutonium chamber sounds

That flowered roof painted car is Called "The Gypsy Rose" the 1st custom painted low rider. it was actually at the Smithsonian for a bit. its got a really cool history.

Hey Adam!! I am a day late watching this because I had surgery yesterday. When I got home and checked my phone I saw you had posted this vlog. I was like yeeeeess!! This made me feel better when I watched it. I always love your vlogs. I love to go to car museums. This one looked really cool with all the movie cars and cool looking low riders and you can actually look inside close up at the vehicles. That's nice for photos. That piñata was really cool. That was the biggest piñata I've ever seen. Is this a permanent museum exhibit or one that they change after so long? I hope you see my comment. You always put a smile on my face. Love you Adam!!

How the heck did you notice that "A" inside the door? Dude, you are super observant!
Adventures by George His friend who helped restored the DeLorean informed him of that as I recall.
Actually the 'A' was on the car in BTTF movies, it can be seen in BTTF 2, when they arrive in the future there's a shot of Doc standing beside the door and you can see the 'A', when the rebuild team saw it that's when thry knew they had the 'A' car! Waaaaay back in the day there was 2 cars they used for driving around universal studios, over the years parts got stolen, when one would break down they would swap parts over while the broken car got fixed then that cycle continued for years!! In the end, no one knew which car was which! When the restoration team saw the 'A' you can imagine their excitement!! :D
Great video MR Woo. Of course the BTTF was and still is the number one from my childhood. I still recall seeing BTTF at the cinema and flying through the clouds. The excitement on another level. The bat mobile was also another car that was up there as a favorite of all time. It still hasn't been topped.

I was at Universal Studios back in the 90's when the Delorean was displayed outside. There was a rope barrier around it. I seem to remember seeing a sign saying it was the car that was used in the movie. That surprised me a bit, that the car would be exposed to the outside weather 24/7. I'm glad it's been restored and is somewhere safe and protected.
