So inspiring! The execution is gorgeous but so is each step in the process. You make it seem so easy but these techniques are truly professional (ie.: Marking out the rings with flour first? Never seen it before!). Watching you bake reminds me of the fascination I felt as a child when I watched Martha Stewart make restaurant worthy food in her kitchen. And of my time watching the chefs on Food Network and even PBS. So many amazing chefs 💖 I know you aren't old enough to remember but my mind is actually blown that someone could be this skilled! Please continue posting these videos for future generations - you really have a gift from God!

What a great idea. I have this whole mission to make a Black Forest cake I’ll finally like because I love cherries and like cherries combined with chocolate, but I find Black Forest cake to always be a bit flavorless or weirdly for me not sweet enough (I don’t like things too sweet). This adaptation looks great and charlottes are so cute. Also I have some frozen sour cherries and this might be what I use them for. I just make simple syrup to make them like the kind in syrup.
If I may, a suggestion for your cup measurements: 4/5 of a cup is an awkward measurement. For 3.5 oz of AP flour, if you are using the measurement of 1 cup = 4.5 oz, which you get by spooning flour into a cup and then leveling, it’s more like 2/3 cup plus 1 tbsp just because people have 1/4, 1/3, and 1/2 cup measures but not 1/5.
Or, if you sift the flour directly into a cup like Rose Levy Beranbaum does, then a cup is 4 oz, so 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp.
And the cocoa powder is about 3 tbsp (6-7 grams each).
    I suggest just buying a scale. 😅
    They’re cheap and convenient!

Thank you! Yes, It's a bit struggle to convert them into 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 cups or something very simple since I have to more focus on the taste, and the convenience should comes second. I try to keep it simple though! I wish they sell 1/5 or 1/6 cups!! Your advice is much appreciated.

If you hope to bake a whole cake, try my chocolate sponge cake recipe instead. This one does not contain oil, so the other recipe works better as a thick sponge cake😊

Hello, I have just discovered your channel and before formalizing our relationship I would like to make a suggestion.
I realize that nowadays the competition is fierce and if you want to get my attention, you tend to use words like AMAZING or SIMPLE, often in all caps like this.
Then I click on the link and I'm looking for what makes it amazing or simple and I do not always find it. I find a regular recipe with ingredients and instructions so my suggestion is this:
Could you please, if you use a word like AMAZING in the title, then start your video by explaining what makes it "amazing"? Perhaps this particular pie uses an ingredient that nobody else uses? Or this "simple" cake uses ingredients that everybody has in their pantry? Or...
Take your crêpe recipe. I find your crêpes amazing because they are extra thin, so why don't you say so? That is an important feature and it would make me want to try your recipe because otherwise, why should I? I have several crêpe recipes in my repertoire already.
And lastly, I want to thank you and congratulate you on your hard work, and the lovely food that you create for our pure pleasure.

Thank you for the feedback! I have to admit I'm not the best at creating titles. I always write the phrases that represents my honest opinions but definitely need some improvements. Thank you for the suggestion!
