I am going to watch this over and over. I used to buy gorgeous clothes, they look as current as they ever did but my body is not the same. Haven’t given up the thought that if I just stick to my diet they’ll look great on me very soon, again. That, and the fact that I’ll never be able to spend that kind of money again. What a struggle.
I wouldn't worry about trying to get back to any dorm that you used to have because the one you have now is just fine! Go thrifting and get yourself some interesting items to freshen things up for hardly any $$. I'm posting a video tomorrow on why you should buy the wild clothes at the thrift store!
I can no longer wear the exquisite heels I purchased 20 years ago. I am lucky enough to have a dressing room where they are used as art and remind me of great parties and romantic dinners.
I had a gorgeous heavy cotten dress bought in my early 30s. Then I gained a lot if weight in my 40s and had kept that dress for 20 years before it dawned on me to take the dress to a dressmaker who cut off the bodice and made a waist band. now I have a fabulous skirt that i always get compliments on.. have something great that doesn't fit? Take it to a dressmaker and don't wait as long as I did.
@Nickysmom oh my goodness, I could have written this myself. Evidently,we are not alone as I keep seeing similar comments youtube-wide. I love everything in my closet. Maybe if I tried really hard I could cull 10%, but only if I tried really Really hard. Let's hang in there, and get motivated to get back into our lovely clothes. We can do this. Love your videos, Diana. Many thanks!
I agree with being open to great things. Thank you for the reminder. This helps me curb my impulses. I had scored a Le Tanneur Suède bag that I reconditioned. I realized it reminded me of an ex and that's why I liked it! Old with the old. I donated it via Geeve and the young mom said "OMG I never thought I'd have a le Tanneur while I'm raising my kids. I used to work in fashion and I feel like that part of my life is so far away!". I nearly cried. I raised 6 kids and understood completely. Giving is precious. We connect with people directly or indirectly who need us.
I am obsessed with closet curration so this video is speaking to me. I like your suggestion of knowing what areas of you closet that you want to be more minimal in. In my case I'm a maximalist with scaves too but I'm a minimalist with shoes. My feet are a weird half size and even expensive shoes give me blisters 😢. You won't catch me spending much on shoes as they don't give me joy. Can't wait to hear more about your scarves! ❤
Hi Kath! I am so happy you're here, you sound very much like me! 😊 I actually suggest you should spend *more* on shoes in order to get just a few fantastic pairs that fit you really well, and let those few pairs give you joy. I don't own a ton of shoes but I have to own more recently to style my clothes correctly for these videos. I feel like they are a big burden to my tiny closet! Also, I think I need to do a scarf update because I have actually added quite a few, so thanks for the nudge! ❤
My trick with camisoles is this. When I have a shirt, blouse, etc that's too sheer, i put the matching camisole on the same hanger. Saves space and time.
I once had a large bunch of really cute shoes I never wore. I was having trouble getting rid of them until my daughter said- ‘let someone else have a great day at the thrift store. ‘. It completely changed the frame for me because I could imagine some delighted person buying all those size 5, brightly colored, pretty, nearly new shoes’. I still find it helpful in letting go, to actually imagine a thrifting treasure seeker finding something and being delighted. PS. Scarf hanger- great idea. Thanks.
I’m in the process of moving and see that I have multiples of things. A ribbed chocolate brown turtleneck and a flat-knit chocolate brown turtleneck A camel v neck and a camel boat neck sweater, etc. Fortunately there’s more closet space in the new house. But I have ‘stopped’ shopping (my favorite, neighborhood thrift shop has gone out of business) so I will just focus on arranging the new closet according to your tips.
I think a lot of us here could benefit from our favorite thrift store going out of business! Sounds like you have a lot of clothes to work with so you can still have fun. Enjoy your new place!
I had an event to go to recently and I didn't know what I really wanted to wear. I spent about an hour trying on things, taking pictures, taking things off, and doing this on repeat until I had tried all of the things on. I opted to wear something I wore before since the weather was on the hot side, otherwise I had wanted to wear the sequined skirt with the satin long-sleeved blouse. Will I ever have an occasion to wear that skirt? My 20 something child says just wear it to the grocery store with sneakers. You'll look fab. I think: I will look a bit off, kinda frumpy and sorta wannabe and I will not be happy. I own the sneakers but I can't really bring myself to try out that look. One day maybe, just not this week. But by and large I agree with all your tips, just can't apply them to that skirt, yet.
I, too, love scarves but not to wear them, I just love the colors. I had sliding doors on my closet and I took them off and hung a weird poofy drapery styling thing (like your scarf hanger but much bigger) that I got from the thrift store and I hung it in place of the doors. I hung all my scarves on it and every day I get to look at the beautiful colors and feel the silkiness of the scarves.
“Don‘t lose your clothes in your own closet!“ Words of wisdom. „Here‘s me not following the rules.“ You r killin‘ me. Love your content and your humor.
Every time I get rid of something, a similar style or pattern or smth comes back into fashion. I end up spending hours or even days searching through my boxes for the item, only to realise that I probably don't have it anymore. Then I feel really angry with myself🙂 Where I live, it is common to store heavy winter clothes, snow boots and winter woollens during the summer, and vice versa. Additionally, you need to store the clothes that are only worn during specific weather conditions that may last only a couple of weeks and not even every year 😀such as clothes for exceptionally cold weather or clothes for exceptionally hot weather.
When I lost a considerable amount of weight a few years ago I also lost a shoe size! Didn't expect THAT to happen, and I have since retired so I don't even have an occasion to wear them anymore; so now they just take up valuable closet space for no reason. I am going right now to get a donation bag and let someone else love them while they are still wearable - Thanks!
I keep a very small box of archive clothing items that remind me of special times in my life. My goal is to one day hire a quilter to make me a quilt with the fabrics, so that when I'm in my advanced years I can enjoy the memories they bring.
You crack me up, Diana! While the information is 100% sound, you deliver it with such good comedic timing it never sounds preachey. “Thrift Mama” made my head throw back with a huge roar of laughter! ❤️
I had some extra trouser hangers (the type that clamp on to the clothes) so I use those for my scarves. I have several scarves that I like but have not had occasion to wear but I am going to take a page from your book and start wearing them, now that Fall is coming on, they will be a good fit. I do like the idea of the Ikea organizer but my hangers keep them from wrinkling. I use the number of hangers to limit how many things I can own. That said, am also in the "storing" camp. I will be going through my "stockpile" and pulling out things that are now 4 sizes too small as it will take at minimum a year for me to fit in those and by then someone else could have used them maybe 40 times? All of these things are suits which I really only need 1 of at this point. Your lighting, lipstick and scarf all on point in this video! Pat on the Back!
I use plastic hangers that have holes where I can loop the top of another hanger, thereby gaining extra hanging space. All my shirts and skirts have "hanging buddies." Meanwhile,.along an effort to wear my silk scarves more. Usually I default to handknit lace shawls (I have a knitting hobby as well as a storing hobby!).
I think I'm going to do a series of pep talks because it's something that I love to do. Sometimes I'm simply doing them for myself because I really need that pep talk! 😅
I really needed to see this today. Realized I'm hanging on to clothes that I haven't worn in years, maybe even DECADES for some. I'll probably have to watch this video a couple more times for inspo, but today is the day I send them off with best wishes to their future wearers. Thank you for the inspiration.
I've worked hard the last few months getting rid of things in my closet and suddenly I have so many MORE clothes! All those things I got and lost track of...and they're beautiful. And people are suddenly complementing me wherever I go. A crammed closet just means you can't find anything nice to wear.
Your delivery is so lovely that I have subscribed after watching only 1 video. I have a similar IKEA item that I found handmade in a thrift store. I use it for my jewelry and I love it, because I get to see all my pretty things at one time. I have to say that I hate the velvet hangers, though. I bought them thinking they would be a great space saver, but they seem way too flimsy to me; I broke one not too long after I bought it.
Do the semi annual purge dance! I take 1 week twice a year and try on everything and ask myself ‘Is it me? Do I love it? Does it fit well? Does it need altering and do I love it enough to have it altered? Does the color suit me? How many things can I wear it with and style with?’. I make piles - donate, alter, sell. maybes, pitch. Anything I keep I hang back up. I find this works for me. I like the idea of 2 out 1 in. I think I’ll start doing that. 🥰👍
Where to begin....... I'm a clothing addict and a shopaholic of ALL things!! My walk-in closet is small and I have SO many clothes, but can't get to them because no room to hang up so gotta go through the GIANT pile and search, which is exhausting!! But, I do like everything I buy and can't get myself to get rid of any.😢
I'm as much into fashion and curating my wardrobe as you are and. After all it is our external image to the world. That's why I don't really get people who wear the same style for decades, maybe unless it has a timeless appeal and suits them perfectly. Me as a person is constantly changing, the Zeitgeist is changing, trends are changing, the supply is changing etc. With that my taste refines, my needs are different and my experiences vary. I've noticed how I know my body better, learned what colors, cuts and materials favour me best and how I'm visually bored with generic plain clothes (and pissed off by cheap materials 😂).
Dear Diana - yep, you are becoming dear, like a friend who brightens my day (i live very rural so dont see many people in a day). My closet is in need of attention. I worked where I had to dress nicely for years then changed to a life on the farm - different attire needed! I hold on to so many old items - investments from another season or good memories... So i have been storing. But I have also been losing weight over the last year and started "shopping in my closet" and your videos have been inspiring. I also volunteer once a month at our local thrift store, run by the area churches. Such a wonderful place to work! Great finds, great conversations and ministry happens. Such a joy when a mom can come in and clothe her growing family for a much more doable fraction of what it would cost elsewhere. (This is an amazing place - all volunteer and donated items - where most pants/tops/sweaters are $0.50, dresses/jackets are $1, shoes $0.50 and boots $1, belts/hats/SCARVES are $0.25! New items with tags on or designer labels might be marked $2-$5... Most jewelry is $0.25-$1. You get the idea.). Using your French Girl style principles, I was able to buy a belt and shoes, add one of my beloved, though not always used, scarves and completely restyle something from my closet that i can wear again! Took my father in law to the doctor yesterday and half my outfit was new to me thrifted and half was from my closet and I felt pretty. Both my husband and son were appreciative. And it made what would have previously been accomplished in a frumpy but comfortable outfit, achieved in a more stylish yet very comfortable outfit that made it an "outing" instead of a mundane trip. I took my incentive from your video on just changing a few things - what to keep, what to change, what to add - and went from jeans, boots and tee to skirt and leather loafers, same tee but added a belt, scarf and clip earrings and, voila! (Oh, and last time I worked at the Thrift Store? It was "everything half off"! My new to me navy leather loafers were $0.25!) Oh, and I added some bright red lipstick! ;)
Dear Rachel, This is all so amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this! That thrift store sounds like the 💣. Wow! I love that you're taking relatively mundane tasks and interactions as moments that can bring sharing and ministry. I love that store for making things accessible to everyone who wants or needs them. There is so much goodness in your entire comment. Thank you so much. 😘
It really is a special place. Each year they give out TEN $1,000 scholarships to area high school seniors. Last year they gave back ~ $35,000 to the community/county! Just amazing to me. All at $0.50 and $0.25 at a time (oh, and glassware and coffee cups are $0.10! Ha!) That it adds up is just God's blessing - they pay for the utilities, taxes, building upkeep, etc. but everything else goes back out to serve the community: boy scouts, girl scouts, 4-H, church youth programs, Awana, SOS, CASA, etc. We get people from surrounding counties that come to shop. The town is only about 2500 population - just blows me away. And you never know what you may find (though i havent found much silk). Anyway, if you are ever in Kansas... :)
This is great advice. If you wear the items that is correct for you now, you feel beautiful and more like yourself. Your advice helped to cement that in my mind.
I love your scarf tricks! I have quite a few! But what l mostly collect r blazers! Moto jackets! Cowboy boots! For line dancing! And of course denim jackets for 40 yrs now! Lol! I still wear them all! I rotate them so they always look new! Lol! No one believes me! They are worth keeping a bit longer!❤
I don’t like the round scarf holders cuz they crumple them. I fold my scarves and use a swing out 5 rung pants hanger. Each one holds 10-12 in a narrow space. Love your vids. Thx!
Wow, you have some amazing advice that will actually help me with my out of control clothing collection. Yes, I am a thrifting enthusiast and I have piles and piles of clothing, both older and new. Thank you so much!
I have a 42 in rod in my closet and no dresser. I do take my off season clothes to a hang up bag in my mother in-law’s basement. My husband and live in her 320 square foot garage apartment because she is 95 and we wanted to live close and have for 6 years so far.
i love those kittens. i have to thank you, diane. since i’ve been viewing your channel, i’ve begun utilizing my *whole* wardrobe. jeans + t-shirt as a daily uniform is a thing of the past for me. now, i incorporate them into new & more creative outfits! i have even begun taking a scarf with me as i make my way out the door. forty-seven appears to be a transformative year for me. thanks again 🌞🪭
Yep= dresses one side, shirts top bar, pants and skirts bottom bar, don’t have scarfs sorted yet, belts hang, blazers next to dresses, I hang my tees, with pants- maybe not smart- sweaters folded in drawers
I’m a new subscriber, about your age, actually, and I’m enjoying your videos so much! There is so much good advice in here, you could totally go with the “thrift mom” thing. I’m a thrift mom myself, with teen and young adult daughters who each have their own distinct style and love thrifting together !
This is fab. I love the tips. You are so refreshing. I just saw this in my feed 😊 I couldnt stop laughing, how true you are, I have been thrifting for over 30 years, you never know what will come your way, but, the disorganised chaos has to stop, I am in the process of letting go, and this makes so much sence to me, 🤦♀️ I have heard a few well put reasons on here to let it go, but you have the words to get me started . Thank you 🌈🌱🤗
A word about too-big too-small clothes. My weight fluctuates a lot, mainly due to medications, and I keep a basic wardrobe a couple of sizes up and a couple of sizes down. If I didn’t, I’d have to spend a fortune on basics like underwear and tshirts.
Speaking of storing….there is another you tube creator who buys hoarded houses and cleans them out. The woman had stored decades of fabulous clothes complete with shoes and handbags in the basement. All marked. The you tuber sold all the vintage items to a dealer who filled three tracker trailer loads for $10,000. The hat boxes made me swoon. There was a whole hidden room of stored fur coats. And in squirrel infested eaves were bags the vintage guy didn’t want (overwhelmed). Bags contained at least a dozen of original 1977 era Diana von Furstenburg wrap dresses. The woman was very petite and wore a size 41/2 shoe. 😐
Haha!😂you are so pretty! So cute! Your video made me lol! My tiny closet is just like yours! Plastic bins and all! I organize by color and season! Lol! I have 4 shoe boxes of jewelry! My room is tiny as well! I have shopped at the thrift stores since l was 4yrs old! I keep my collection small and cherished as l move around a bit looking for cheap rent! Lol! I am 69 yrs old and still work at a hairdresser! At jc penny! This fall the dress code will be all blk again! I am sad as l can't wear my colorful clothes to work!😂 I will figure it out.....Thank you Diana!❤you are great!🎉
👗I like to hang statement necklaces and bracelets on the hanger with the next dress or blouse I will wear with them. 🧺 You have lots of room for damage free Command hooks to hang bangles, belts, scarves, etc. 👖 I label pants hangers with the inseam length of each pant for quick access finding the pedal pushers, crops, capris, ankle length or full legnth. Sometimes a note for leg shape or cuff. 🩴Would love to see shoe solutions.
Hi Eunice! Thank you! I use Premier Pro, and I like it. I'm not sure if I would recommend it to anyone who isn't into professional editing of some kind already. I was a music producer for 15 years so the interface looks familiar and intuitive to me. I know a lot of people find iMovie to be easy and a good editing entry point.
@@shortwaist It is an incredible amount of work and I'm not sure how anybody does it without my own personal life experience of being an model, photographer, photo and video editor, stylist, public speaker, etc. The only job that I had that doesn't seem to factor into this is when I worked at Starbucks at 19!
Found this so interesting. I’m from the Marie Kondo school, but still find it hard to let go of clothes I almost never wear or feel uncomfortable wearing. This has given me a lot of food for thought. It also means owning up to mistakes, or as you say ideas or styles that might have worked at the time that don’t really work now. I’ll probably never give up all of them but could definitely shift enough to make more space :)
Well I have tried all sorts of solutions that have not worked:30 feet of linear closet lengths, 4 hanging racks 2 of which are long....yes I arrange by items, then by color. Those closet spacers....would be a desperation move...which is what converting to velvet hangers was about 3 yrs ago. I am a vintage shopper who lives in Vintage heaven where all the stock gets exported TO. Antigua, Guatemala. I have been collecting for a decade from the local paca market. In the past year, three MEGAPACAS like USA Goodwill stores have opened up in my area...modern , well lit, with private dressing rooms with DOORS and mirrors. Before that, I wore. Amaxi skirt with. half slip and cami a shirt over so I could strip in the aisle of paca put pants or skirts under the skirt and half slip then pull the skirt and slip off of over my head search for a mirror of any size....in a deeply shaded vendors stalls in twilight. But NOW the new Megapaca stores built this past year are all modernized, ala the USA. Only FEEDING MY ADDICTION . We get end of season Nordstrom, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic clearance items that dont sell at 50% off here they are 90% off MORE...usually tags are off but not always. There are "Factors," business people, who buy there in the USA in 100 lb plastic wrapped BALES at coastal WAREHOUSES then have them put on a ship and delivered to coastal shipping ports here. Another person buys those bales warehouses on our coast and brings them to our town: paca...outdoor Latin American markets for food and clothing. My weight/size fluctuates. Right now I am slim amd EVERYTHING I have except the one lower size I own, looks terrfic on me. (Sigh) just making my job of trip planning harder.😮....I have hypothyroidism so my size fluctuates. I am planning my 4 month Chicago/Portland, Ore. annual trip. I have been trying on clothes for a month putting together outfits taking photos on my phone. Looking at YT videos of colors and styles that are IN for this summer.OMG EVERYTHING looks so good then I go to PInterest and find other ideas of things to wear with that orange blazer I changed the buttons on?Oh. have to have a white blazer with me TOO...Ooops, they say black is in for summer, ridiculous in the heat, but it is so IN... look at that Massimo Dutti new YT video! All black and white! Gosh, I have ALL those styles...yes the satin skirt, the satin button up shirt, the loose linen pants from last year, the slimmer Bermuda shorts...ooh wait I have a knit black Banana Republic tank with white edging very French girl...yes that! That midi black and white skirt a little boho with a few white sequins scattered on it oh WOW Look how gorgeously this mixes with the rest...oh wait I have a white sequin cotton knit tank that will suit this ...AND a white Chanel type short boucle jacket try it on ...yes it fits! Okay pack this stuff.... Next day. Hmmm looking at my phone photos..".yes, these outfits are great.... on a BRUNETTE!!!! " Yes I am a blimde Romantic Spring!!!! OOPPSS. "You really ARE a stylist Sybil, and all for pennies on the dollar, smart, clever, lucky YOU". ......OOPS that's right, I AM a SPRING, not a winter...oh no ANOTHER 2 days wasted... Look on the bright side, I didnt have to go to the gym today, I was exhausted last night with my tryon, my search for one more obscure item I remembered hidden in the labyrinth of my closets/ranks that I STILL,I cant find ...my muscles are sore from twisting into clothing all day yesturday.... SO NOW I have to go to the guest room. unpack all those items and start a different colorway or two or three.....I think I will spend the day instead looking for more ideas of color combos " in right now" I KNOW I will have in style colors and styles for my Spring self.... Oh wait, one of my tires has a slow leak. I have to get it patched TODAY so I can be sure that patch WORKS otherwise I will come back to a flat in 4 mos of it sitting here undriven. But if I do THAAAT then if the leak isnt fixed next week when I leave I will have to drive 20 miles to buy a NEW tire and that is money I could have spent in a Chicago antique or vintage store...last year I got that terrific long Gibson girl hatpin that everyone compliments me on and it is a useful 😊😊😊😊 self defense tool in my Panama hat for the Chicago "el".....so much creativity, so much saved money buying vintage/paca, so much time spent, ANDso much fun... But dont forget the self imposed pressure to take on too many tasks before I GO. Ahh my closet what a terrific escape from ALL THAT! God send me a miracle...let me rise tomorrow LOCK those suitcases and fix that tire!!!!
We are soul sisters indeed....except I you will have a daughter your age. Im warning you NOW...once you are retired you will have unlimited playclothes....
I have converted an entire room in my house to be MY closet. Just for my things, nobody else & it STILL isn't enough. I should be banned from thrift stores. I have a problem...but I don't care! 😅
I am going to watch this over and over. I used to buy gorgeous clothes, they look as current as they ever did but my body is not the same. I agree with being open to great things. Thank you for the reminder. This helps me curb my impulses.

Giving is precious. We connect with people directly or indirectly who need us.
I love this story! Thanks for sharing it.
We have a lot in common...thrifting vintage fashion, small closets and kittens.
Haha same! 😅❤
I love it! It's like a cult but much cuter and more fun.

Thanks Range! 😘
Love the scarf! Super cute!

“‘Storing’ doesn’t sound like a fun hobby.” Profound and hilarious point. 💃🏻

You crack me up, Diana! While the information is 100% sound, you deliver it with such good comedic timing it never sounds preachey. “Thrift Mama” made my head throw back with a huge roar of laughter! ❤️
🤣
Thank you!
Im going to save this video to use as a pep talk when i am decluttering my boxes of clothes in the attic(loft). Thank you thrifting ma-ma❤
Yes let them enjoy! 😍
Love your videos and advice. I also appreciate that you don’t play music over your voice!
Glad you enjoy it! I also enjoy a music-free talking experience when watching videos!
I love "hanging out" with you! So fun! I find myself just smiling while I watch your content!👗👠🍸🍣🍨
I'm so glad!
I've worked hard the last few months getting rid of things in my closet and suddenly I have so many MORE clothes! All those things I got and lost track of...and they're beautiful. And people are suddenly complementing me wherever I go. A crammed closet just means you can't find anything nice to wear.
Isn't that wild?
I have the same scarf hanger, and mine is even more full than yours - thanks for making me feel not so alone in my scarf obsession
Definitely hang out with us scarf ladies here!
I'm the complete opposite. I go all out with jewelry, especially my statement necklaces & bracelets.
Me too! Esp earrings - they take up so little space
But, I do like everything I buy and can't get myself to get rid of any.😢
I get it! I get it down to my bones (and overstuffed closet! )
I had the same problem as you.
I started carnivore since August and have lost 38 kilos!
Went to the size i used to wear.
Keep up the good work!!
Absolutely!!
I love your scarf tricks! I have quite a few! But what l mostly collect r blazers! Moto jackets! Cowboy boots! For line dancing! And of course denim jackets for 40 yrs now! Lol! I still wear them all! I rotate them so they always look new! Lol! No one believes me! They are worth keeping a bit longer!❤
Very fun closet!
Thank you! I can tell your closet must be fabulous!!!! I will continue watching.....
I don’t like the round scarf holders cuz they crumple them. I fold my scarves and use a swing out 5 rung pants hanger. Each one holds 10-12 in a narrow space.
Love your vids. Thx!
I'm considering doing that next!
Wow, you have some amazing advice that will actually help me with my out of control clothing collection. Yes, I am a thrifting enthusiast and I have piles and piles of clothing, both older and new. Thank you so much!
There is no lack of clothes in this world. Be unafraid!
I'm 47 too! It's a great age. All the ages can be! So glad you're here Wendy!
Love the closet spacers idea. Really helpful
I like your calm, logical approach to things! You are fast becoming my best therapist!
Wow, thanks! Before I started this channel I was talking to a lot of moms and very often they would tell me that it felt like I was their therapist!
I just saw this in my feed 😊 I couldnt stop laughing, how true you are, I have been thrifting for over 30 years, you never know what will come your way, but, the disorganised chaos has to stop, I am in the process of letting go, and this makes so much sence to me, 🤦♀️
I have heard a few well put reasons on here to let it go, but you have the words to get me started . Thank you 🌈🌱🤗
Best of luck! 😁
@@unblahyourself Thank you. 😁🤗🌱🌈
Thanks Mom! But too late!
That’s exactly what I’ve been doing… thrifting as a break from cleaning out my closet. How do you know me so well?
😅
@@unblahyourself I’m not sorry… I found some good stuff!
@@cinderella4499 I'm never sorry after thrifting!
@@unblahyourself Did I say I was sorry? !
A word about too-big too-small clothes. My weight fluctuates a lot, mainly due to medications, and I keep a basic wardrobe a couple of sizes up and a couple of sizes down. If I didn’t, I’d have to spend a fortune on basics like underwear and tshirts.
Bing watching
Holy Moly! That thought is exciting, overwhelming, and terrifying at the same time!
My sister said, always hold on to your silk blouses, because they are becoming harder to find.
I am sad as l can't wear my colorful clothes to work!😂 I will figure it out.....Thank you Diana!❤you are great!🎉
Thank you Lucinda!
I really wish I could reach that level of organization! 😱
Awesome advices. Thank you!!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Oh my gloss!!!now i adore more than ever:i've just found that you too have too demi-long soft fur black cats😻
Love your lipstick. Please tell me what it is
I'm not sure but if I had to guess there's probably a first layer of MAC peppery pink or Mocha, the Russian Red dotted on top. I'm a MAC lipstick fan!
Loving ur videos
I really appreciate that. Thank you!
I like scarf...how many scarves do you own?
❤very good idea .
Thank you! 😊
Great video and awesome real tips!
I am curious how do you edit your videos? What program do you use and would you recommend it?
Hi Eunice! Thank you! I use Premier Pro, and I like it. I'm not sure if I would recommend it to anyone who isn't into professional editing of some kind already. I was a music producer for 15 years so the interface looks familiar and intuitive to me. I know a lot of people find iMovie to be easy and a good editing entry point.
i was wondering this too! gosh it looks like so much work, idk how creators do it!
@@shortwaist It is an incredible amount of work and I'm not sure how anybody does it without my own personal life experience of being an model, photographer, photo and video editor, stylist, public speaker, etc. The only job that I had that doesn't seem to factor into this is when I worked at Starbucks at 19!
Well I do drink an awful amount of coffee.
Yes I am a blimde Romantic Spring!!!!
But if I do THAAAT then if the leak isnt fixed next week when I leave I will have to drive 20 miles to buy a NEW tire and that is money I could have spent in a Chicago antique or vintage store...last year I got that terrific long Gibson girl hatpin that everyone compliments me on and it is a useful
😊😊😊😊 self defense tool in my Panama hat for the Chicago "el".....so much creativity, so much saved money buying vintage/paca, so much time spent, ANDso much fun...
But dont forget the self imposed pressure to take on too many tasks before I GO.
Ahh my closet what a terrific escape from ALL THAT!
God send me a miracle...let me rise tomorrow LOCK those suitcases and fix that tire!!!!
I do that same thing, maxi skirt and cami dressing room!
We are soul sisters indeed....except I you will have a daughter your age. Im warning you NOW...once you are retired you will have unlimited playclothes....
I should have written the items that are.....
11:00 I hope you are not still talking about the boyfriend 😂😂😂
What about shoes
My shoe organization is actually horrid because I don't have a lot of space.

I have converted an entire room in my house to be MY closet. Just for my things, nobody else & it STILL isn't enough. I should be banned from thrift stores. I have a problem...but I don't care! 😅
That sounds like a DREAM!
Me too!
My closet is a disaster of too much clothes that I’m not sure I even like!! Lol
I cannot hang my Hermes and Louis Vuitton belts like that !
Nor do you have to! My belts all cost about 4 dollars. 😆
