    Paula who did a t slot cross slide on one of the machinists forums did this.
    She put a wick down the hole.
    I used a cigarette butt on my cross drive nut, with a little cavity above it under the screw for oil.

    A very useful mod, getting oil to where it’s really needed, will do it to mine in the near future to avoid lifting the saddle every few months.

    Nice modification, we used to use grubscrews as orifices for hydraulic systems, used to place several on a plate and heat up to dull red.

    Glad to see you drilling through the Allen grub screws! I've been considering doing the same thing on the grub screws that hold the bushings in the countershaft on my 1894 Barnes #4 1/2...
