- This1989 FJ62 retains the original body, but features a shortened chassis from an FZJ80 - making it an FJ142.
This allows us to utilize the best aspects of the FZJ80's braking and drivetrain underneath the shell of the classic FJ62.
It may look like it's from the '80s, but this Land Cruiser has the performance of a new 430 horsepower LS3 and the modern creature comforts we've come to expect from new vehicles.

So awesome can’t wait to have you guys do one for me
Awesome man!
Growing up in my teens, my next door neighbour had one and I have always hankered after one. Hopefully I will get you guys to build me one but with the Toyota 1VD-FTV 4 litre V8 diesel engine. And with bench seats on each side at the back. Hope when I am ready, you guys would be willing to take up the challenge. Excellent work guys. Maximum Respect

Hey guys,
I build underground Toyota 79 series mining trucks and have brand new parts left over. I even have surplus parts like end to end axles, frames, motors cabs, boxes transmissions….
Reach out if interested.
Unfortunately it not original anymore ☹
A set of hj61 Sahara wheel flairs to finish it off. Very nice build
😍🤩
Gorgeous!!!
besutiful! need a center console like that for my 80!
I would sell my 200 series for one of these! 😍
Loved the built very much and loved the attention to details that you give to the built, could you pls let us know how much a built like this cost, very interested
Thanks! Feel free to email info@tlc4x4.com to discuss what you're looking for. Our builds start at $250k, but can vary according to your goals.
$250k?
I would guess $400K. That is at least 350 hours at $100-120. Plus parts. This is not rich man's toy. This is in the realm of the super rich.
