Thank you. I am the owner - it is a 1978. Yep … you will never see this beauty on BaT!
Perfection
I love your work it’s amazing, that’s what I want!
Love that you DRIVE it for a bit. Safe travels.
You should restomod 2001+ Tahoe Z71, great truck. It would would be amazing. I have one, though retired, but also have sick Toyota HJ61 turbo diesel 24v land cruiser as well, so i can fairly judge them. The horribly offset GM steering column in the Tahoe is really the only thing requiring fixing, its the worst. I know you do the classic understated exteriors, but I think you are missing out on an equally important aspect of vehicle culture. Please have a customer do a wild period correct or not livery, wheels/tires and mods...i swear, thank me later. P.S tell Jonathan to cut the rear tear drop on the broncos with some over flares, it is a shame to to have a $350,000 Bronco look so boring. lol.
Hi, i have a neat factory turbo diesel Sahara 60 for sale if your interested. would need shipping from Australia
No lockers stock dash
You need to do a truck like this with a Toyota V8 so it's retains Land cruiser reliability
How much would one of these run you? so I know how much to save up for lol
What other parts is TLC bring to market for the public to purchase for their own builds? Wiring harnesses?
I did a full resto on my 87 cruiser like this once. Worst mod was the Ls3. Best mod was Old man Emu springs, King shocks and ARB lockers. Damn thing got way too much attention but it was fun!
Amazing workshop just awesome
Wow what an amazing cruiser. If I was rich, I would get one of these done by you guys in an instant
Super build i have one fj 142 i build it in costa rica with a ls3 chiptronic gearr box delta suspension ome shock
Mega 😊
Why don’t you build one with the 1VD-FTV ?
The top part of the console looks flat and square. Maybe you can put more foam and give it some contour.
Are you and ICON brand still under the same owner ??? Used to be that way, right ???
Turbo 2jz in this truck is a waste. Should have read the mud forum on that before making the call. Supercharged or turbo’d 1FZ would have been ideal or the always popular LS or shoot even a Toyota factory turbo diesel would have been better. Just my opinion; not my monkey not my circus.
So good! What's the cost to build one of these?
Amazing. What's average cost to do a restoration on one?
Cool! What about J70? Any restoration?
Would have been cool if they used a 5.7 V8 from a Tundra. Putting a Chevy engine in a LC is pure blasphemy.
Fun fact. Toyota used to lease the 350 5.7 from GM. So in essence it is the same.
What's the price for this unit?
Do you ever use the engine that they use in the TUNDRA
Leather smells amazing
so you removed the toyota from the toyota??
sweeet truuck!!! this is an awesome build....man i cant wait to get the chance to build my own specs for this truck
what an amazing looking build!
Love your work, congrats to the owners
These vehicles are literally incredible but they're not toyotas anymore. They're GM's lol. An engine makes the car dumb dumbs.
really pretty. How much did this project cost the client (rough number)?
$150,000 usd+
I need to send yall my 90 FJ62
Beauty!
if i ever hit the lottery, one of my first few trips will be to your facility to start the design process for my Toyota ! Great stuff !!
What a beauty
It cost the same as the new ones
This is insane!!

Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
ooohhhh shiiittt.....hopefully someday. How much????? I'd like the FZJ80 chassis with the 60 body. and an LS swap. would be a sweeeeeeet truck.
So beautiful and OG. Owner of a 1989 since 1999 and tryna keep mine similar. Thanks!
Please…build one of these and then hold a lottery, tickets are 100.00 a piece, till you get to your cost covering your margins. Because in spite of my best planning, unless I sell one of my kids, and come to think of it, I do have too many….thats the only way I’ll ever own one of these amazing vehicles. Such quality, I’m sure it makes Toyota blush. Thanks just the same…
Beautiful…these are the only reason I play lotto. Actually, if the lottery had a special provision for getting one of these instead of money…I’d play every week.
good idea making this video. it will help a lot when people find out how much is costs to work with you.
The fog lights arent level
Nobody mentions anything about the price range. Many people won't even go to the website and think that this might cost 2x the price of a 2024 Landcruiser.
this is the most seratonin i have had in 6:27...oh my gawd i cant wait to make enough money to be able to build a restomod of my dream custom land cruiser...this is absolutely amazing that a company like this exists
Thanks For The Great Video... Thanks TLC4X4 Channel 😊😊😊
Great, do you have franchise?
