love this idea! for any interested in a longer playthrough with this idea Jon at Many a True Nerd did nearly this same challenge in a series called "you only live once" for fallout Nv 3 and 4.
Many a True Nerd actually did a whole playthrough with this challenge in mind. Technically if you take long enough the game will heal you over time (very slightly but still), so he ended up recording the amount of health and damage he had sustained throughout his time playing.
19:00 - there is old polish internet meme / video: someone (probably) lost theirs FPS duel (in old CS) with another player, which apparently was left with four health points. in the meantime, a prankster recorded theirs complain "no nie, cztery ha pe" (i.e. "oh no, 4 hp"), and then kept replaying that "sample" in the voice chat often and in random moments. all talking players thought that someone's audio was glitched. it was kind of funny video that 15 or so years ago, and this is the reason why "4 hp" has sentimental meaning for me :D
As much as you hate them, I’d love to see you do a play through as an Omerta.. lol Become the thing you hate! Evolve into your enemy! Can you survive in the shoes of your nemesises..? nemesis’s? nemesi? Those guys you hate.
If anyone hasn't seen it, Many A True Nerd did this run with all the DLC and on very hard without healing ever. He's also done the same for fallout 3 and 4
It's a small detail that doesn't matter much in the long run, but for the AM rifle, Match hand loads are always better than armor piercing. +15% damage boost on a weapon with 100 base damage vs -15 armor and a damage penalty. Also it's unintuitive but explosive rounds don't actually give you more damage. They just add a damage radius for crowd control.
Beautiful video Nerbit! But I have a challenge for you, “Can you beat Fallout: New Vegas, as Nerbit?” Basically, you can choose one weapon that you’d choose out of every NV weapon (DLC included) as well as armor (Also dlc included) and then play the game as you wish, whichever ending!
Holy shit that was clutch man! Just found your channel yesterday and been marathoning all of your New Vegas Content non stop hahaha I am definitely playing the game again now, thanks for the awesome content
So little fun fact, in addition to fully healing you, the rest at hoover dam before the president's visit, if you are playing on hardcore, your thirst, hunger, and sleep meters are fully restored as well.
I love the runs like these that ask a question that you'd think "oh god. Well I guess yeah probably but it'd be quick save-quickload hell what form of purgatory must he be stuck in? Oh. He just completed in 4 hours and it looked kinda fun."
I got a future video idea for you: could you beat Fallout 4 as Arthur Morgan, you can only use western weapons or weapons that appear in rdr2 (such as the double-barrel shotgun) and you have to wear western attire, your adjectives in this challenge would be to complete any heists that come your way, same with bounties and you have to find all (or just a lot) of the named guns (a reference to how Arthur could take named guns from mostly named enemies in red dead) and the final challenge would be to get the mole rat disease and die to it at the very end of the challenge.
Oh wow I actually suggested something like this last video but for skyrim! Regardless where you got the idea from it was still very fun to watch, and went down as interesting as I thought it might.
I don't have a run idea. I just want to see a cinematic video of you slaughtering the Omertas, with an attached story. NCR uniform with an Electrode for a head and a functional Infinity Gauntlet snapping people out of existence as you walk by in slow motion, with cuts to you/r character getting interviewed for why you did it.
If you enjoyed this, Many A True Nerd did a similar "YOLO" (You only live once) no healing run in fallout 3, 4 and new vegas, each with all dlcs and on the hardest difficulty available. For fallout 4 this was with the help of a mod that removed any healing effects from food, sleep, levelups etc. For fallout 3 and new vegas he kept a "true health counter" to keep track of damage even though the games sometimes forced a heal or radscrub. Though be warned: the playlist for fallout 4 yolo has 58 videos and a duration of 70 to 80 hours...

@@Nerbit13098 tbh it was a melee build at first then I wanted to use the anti material rifle so I dumped points into guns
Many a True Nerd actually did a whole playthrough with this challenge in mind. Technically if you take long enough the game will heal you over time (very slightly but still), so he ended up recording the amount of health and damage he had sustained throughout his time playing.
7:38 “you thinking what I’m thinking partner”?
“Aim for the bushes”
Nerbit is my favorite TH-cam channel. Me and my son watch his videos every Friday
That means alot to me man, thank you both for the support :)
Fun fact: one time the ranger that gives you the radio followed me to the fort and since he cant die(?) He killed all of the legionaries for me
19:00 - there is old polish internet meme / video:
someone (probably) lost theirs FPS duel (in old CS) with another player, which apparently was left with four health points. in the meantime, a prankster recorded theirs complain "no nie, cztery ha pe" (i.e. "oh no, 4 hp"), and then kept replaying that "sample" in the voice chat often and in random moments. all talking players thought that someone's audio was glitched. it was kind of funny video that 15 or so years ago, and this is the reason why "4 hp" has sentimental meaning for me :D
Seeing the Legate get vaporized in a cloud of smoke before he even knows what's happening is incredibly satisfying.
"Can You Beat Fallout: New Vegas Without Healing?"
*gets shot in head and Doc Mitchell doesn't revive you*
As much as you hate them, I’d love to see you do a play through as an Omerta.. lol
Become the thing you hate! Evolve into your enemy!
Can you survive in the shoes of your nemesises..? nemesis’s? nemesi? Those guys you hate.
If anyone hasn't seen it, Many A True Nerd did this run with all the DLC and on very hard without healing ever.
He's also done the same for fallout 3 and 4
You should try beating new vegas while being chased by the ncr ranger that gives you the radio, it will be your hardest chase challenge yet
When he git hit for the first time my thought was “For the first time, the courier was reminded of his mortality.”
Radio Man is the true unsung hero of the NCR. I have seen him show up at the same time as Legion assassins and still survive the fight.
While this idea might get buried I'm still gonna ask a good question; Can you beat Fallout: New Vegas as Father Elijah?
If you enjoyed this, Many A True Nerd did a similar "YOLO" (You only live once) no healing run in fallout 3, 4 and new vegas, each with all dlcs and on the hardest difficulty available. For fallout 4 this was with the help of a mod that removed any healing effects from food, sleep, levelups etc. For fallout 3 and new vegas he kept a "true health counter" to keep track of damage even though the games sometimes forced a heal or radscrub. Though be warned: the playlist for fallout 4 yolo has 58 videos and a duration of 70 to 80 hours...
Many a true nerd did this with both fallout 3, 4, and NV almost a decade ago
