    I often forget that you’re a Final Cut editor. It’s amazing though, because even though I’m an Adobe editor, I still process everything you say. The editing suite doesn’t matter at all. One of these days, I may give it a try.

    Needed this! Beautiful natural palette to work with. I live near Detroit and despise winter. We get mild ones and cold blustery ones as well, but all-in-all WINTER SUCKS living towards either pole. My opinion....

    Hey Peter, another great video! Can you or someone who has been following longer answer the following: when vlogging, do you use a more basic preset, or are you shooting in s-log still and color grading. Again this is for vlogging, not product shoots or epic b roll. Thanks for all that you do!!!

      Thanks! I'm usually shooting in S Log 2 with my "regular settings" no matter if i'm vlogging or not. I've tried a couple of different things but it just looks wors when i use something else. I guess i'm too used to the Picture Profile ^^

    You mentioned shooting in wide as opposed to linear. How do you deal with the fish eye warp of the image in wide mode?

    Tip for getting the GoPro low is to shoot it upside down and rotate in post. That way the shorter side of the body is towards the ground getting the lens lower. Not much difference, but it helps!

    Hello Peter,
    do you want to put the manual settings in the description for a while?
    especially this one of how you have set the white balance, I can then set this setting as a personal preset!

    It would’ve been cool if while making this great video you showed the footage from the shots along side the footage of you doing the shot. You were talking about all this great stuff but then you didn’t show the footage from the actual shot. You should a couple of the clips when you did your color grading.     i noticed in alot more recent movies they started using cinematic go pro shots
    in avatar 2 there was one scene during the water fight and they had a mini little go pro shot

    Peter, as a suggestion.
    I think it would be beneficial if you could show the way how to shoot like a pro with mid range or perhaps little old flagship smartphones. That could be a tough challenge and at the same time, inspiring others to start with whatever they got and improve along the way.

    I see that Swedish forests are very similar to Polish ones. Watching your movie I feel at home. The difference is that mass felling of trees has recently been carried out in Poland (You can see in my latest video) Thank you for the beautiful shots.👍
