They played Peter brilliantly. Stroked his ego to the point where he thought he was getting the deal, bring him down, the other dragons match to compete, and then boom, pick the dragon they actually want for a price much closer to the original offer. Well done you two, very savvy

Best negotiation ever, they played Tej with asking Peter first. He would not have lowered to 3% if they didn't ask Peter to drop first.
It was not intentional, because once Peter conceded they were going to go to the wall. It was Touker intervention that prompted all the others to lower down to Peter's new offer.

An update on the business
Nursem continues to keep their promise, offering free hand-cream to nurses across the NHS. On top of that, they are now expanding and growing their firm one product at a time with the assistance of their massive laboratory testing. The company is worth 2.5 million pounds in February 2022.
For now, the company keeps growing to help those that are tired of cracked and dry hands

Yeah but the 90's episodes have bigger money request and crazier type people. The new eps are good but more slick and sanitised now. What about the guy trying to buy two planes? Gold!

Sometimes the episode is relatively new but the product is behind the times, yet they are still amazed by it. Makes it seem like it's set in the early 2000s.

I’ve been suffering with dry, cracked, bleeding hands because of Covid hand washing, doing dishes by hand, changing nappies and constantly washing hands and it’s a serious problem that won’t simply be healed in a couple of days. Its getting better slowly now as the seasons change. I’ve been using Vaseline intensive care and it’s helped, but hasn’t completely fixed the problem.

Extremely well played. I could not believe that the entrepreneurs asked Peter first, he was not the best dragon for this business, but then everything fell into place. Peter Jones, like Carly Simon used to sing "you are so vain"... :-)

@@BigBoss7777777 Just because you're wealthier, doesn't necessarily mean you're better at business. I know on the surface it would seem to be the case, but businesses are not run by a single individual, but a team. I think on this occasion, and with most healthcare products Tej would seem the obvious choice, just like with textiles it would be Touker, anything related to the leisure industry Deborah, anything tech related then Peter, etc.. But I wouldn't discount any of the dragons based on their lower net worth compared to another dragon. Just my opinion, I'm not a businessman.

I have worked in a dusty warehouse where I was washing my hands around 5 times per day minimum. I got dry hands and they only get worse during the winter, resulting in crevace-like cuts around 2cm into the ends of the fingers which took around 3 months to heal while still working and using daily hand creams.
So washing your hands in the high double figures is very, very likely to cause a lot worse.

Tej is a tiger and cannot in any shape or form be underestimated or minimised next to Peter . Tej is the youngest of them all , is the only one who own a recognisable brand name in the market , his net worth is almost the same as that of Peter, and I am sure he has a lot more under the granny’s mattress at the family home in India .
Tej just runs his dads business he is not as smart as peter. And sarah davies is the youngest.

From the get go I felt this was Tej's deal. When they asked for Peter to reconsider I was like 'noooooo!'. Obviously this product is right up Tej's alley and no one will do a better job on it then him, not even close. Duncan with his history in health care businesses would have made a good choice too, had he been around. Happy they made the right call in the end and ultimately very happy to get new episodes of DD.
Loved it how they cut the Dragons reactions afterwards. We could already tell Peter was pissed off.

Was nice to see Peter’s smile during the initial negotiations, only to be wiped away at the end, which is a shame because he is usually deserving! While Tej probably had the most knowledge of this product, I think distribution is key to its success!

I think it's important for people to know that a lot of people suffer with hand eczema such as myself, through working in previous jobs cleaning regularly I now have atopic dermatitis and if any chemical touches my hand it flairs up. This type of cream will always sell because there are so many people with hand conditions that it could help with. So this is nothing to do with covid-19 but i am SURE many people will have my condition post covid-19. Washing your hands too much kills the good bacteria protecting your hands!

@@WATCHINGTHEWATCHERS i don’t understand why she’s wound you up so much because i’ve seen you reply to a few other people with a very similar comment... try having a chronic skin condition like psoriasis or eczema because it really isn’t as simple as just using a cheap hand cream. i literally used to miss a lot of school (when i was a teenager) because my skin felt like it was cracking/ripping. i’ve tried so many creams during the pandemic and they either irritate my skin or they don’t actually help the overall condition. i’d rather spend my money on one cream that’s a better quality instead of loads of cheap creams that don’t leave the skin moisturised🤷🏻♀️

This was by far the most human episode I have ever watched of Dragon's Den.
