i’ve been routing wires through the passenger foam and only buying lights with tiny connectors so they’d fit through the tiny hole. mad at myself for not finding this video sooner.
Worked on my 2014. Especially useful for running a wiring harnesses with a factory connector, like when installing a multi-gang switch panel that connects to a relay/fuse box under your hood, where it won't fit through the foam filled hole in the cowl.
Great information. Short and sweet and no annoying music or unnecessary ADHD Inspired Gum flapping session of information of no value to fluff it up. Thank you and for that, I will gladly subscribe and I’d like to make a request if you could perform quick and dirty, V-8 swap walk-through that be great thanks. 😂
In my opinion in time those wires are more likley to become damaged and could cause a short vs going through the firewall. There is more room in the firewall too.
Best video out there for the 18! This vid needs to be the first video to pop up for this! I looked for so long on how to get through the fire wall!

This works on the '21 Wrangler as well. Thank you, very helpful
That solved my issue. Great video, straight to the point, direct and short.

THANK YOU for saving me a LOT of time!!! POWER ON!!!
Awesome thanks man this vid helped a lot I couldn't find a way in without drilling
Thank you! Worked perfectly... even the hanger! Much appreciated.
Great quick video , Thanks.
Very lightweight string or dental floss and a shop vac works really well to get a pull string through tough spots.
How do you close the grommet after you fed the wires threw? Won't the seal be obstructed?
You are the man! Appreciate the help!
Thanks dude wire hanger did the trick first time
Helpful video, thank you!
Hello: What about the other side goin from Battery in side ? ? ?
I too thought I was lost. Pulled it used a flashlight to confirm and yep... Thanks
Great vid!
Thank you sir
Thanks!
Perfect😊
Thank you, sub'd.
Excellent! Thank You!
Thanks for the input- Glad it was a help!
Time saver !! Thanks !
why did you regret using the passenger side pass through?
It leaves the wire exspoded to the elements..in time with vibrations could damage the wire causing a short.
I have a clothes hanger inside my tools bag, and invaluable tool
Agreed! :)
Thank you
I can’t seem to find that on my 2017 rubicon.
Thanks dude!
You didn’t mention that you had to remove part of the dash
Oh that's a good idea!
What year is your Jeep? I have a 2020 JL with a manual transmission and it appears that I don't have this entry point.
This is the JK bodystyle- sorry.
Why do you wish you didn't go through the holes where foam is? I maxed out those holes and while a PITA, it's still a way in.

@@topherslife7834 ah I see, I'll keep note of that, something I've been wondering for a while myself
Is it with manual or automatic transmission?
This Jeep is a Manual as you can see in my other videos. However; the routing of the wire is the same either way.
is this a TJ or JK?
JKU
thank you
