I started New Game+ and used the same build I beat my last game with and it’s very challenging the second time around (also I had increased the difficulty to “Show Me No Mercy”). It feels like Fimbulwinter had weakened my old equipment and I have to boost it more. Plus whipping the Blades out after Thor says “I was hoping to see your blades. Suppose they don’t come when you call them” is just the funniest thing to me 😂

There's a possibility there might be an audio fx difference by the time you fully upgrade the weapons (there are about 5 new levels per weapon now), but I highly doubt it. i think it would be cool if whenever you reach the max level in NG+ for weapons, yo have a GoW2018 Axe and Blades transmog since they're doing a lot with that anyways. Btw, weapons get more flashy with every upgrade in NG+.

Update is good but I am a bit disappointed that they didn’t bring back the old skill tree of hand to hand combat, I feel like kratos in the previous game was much more fluid and had more attacks with hand to hand but now u r stuck with the same combo over and over again.
I was hoping for the same thing but I wasn't expecting them to actually do it. While it's unfortunate that they didn't, I'm not disappointed. Maybe someday.

I'm not far into it, but so far I'm enjoying myself. The quality of life improvements are nice, it was fun to use the Blades and Spear against Thor, and most important WE HAVE THE CLOAK FINALLY lmao. I'm a little annoyed it took them this long to add it, but I'm happy none the less.

The burdens are actually handicaps and not buffs. They essentially reduce the effectiveness of the element/aspect which they are bought for. So for example burden of runic would reduce the amount of damage the runic attacks cause. This was mentioned in the PlayStation blog. Just thought everyone should know. Great video overall

I hope they fix the missing crafting material glitches because I really wanted to see all my armor's fully upgraded but unfortunately the damn game wouldn't let me.
The one thing I don't like about the cloak is that kratos wepons are hidden but are allso cliping though I think they sholed allso make it that you can change the apperanc of hilts and not just armor
About damn time they released the Cloak as an armor piece and its benefits arent bad neither to be honest. Also I do like the armor sets and cosmetics as it makes me feel like Kratos is alot more customizable now. I wonder if they will do a shaved beard option in the future. Then again it does make him look much older.

Indeed..... when I finally realized that I was so fuckin pissed off and they traded the hand-to-hand combat for a shield with RPG elements to it...... just give me the parry shield ONLY from gow 2018 and keep the hand-to-hand combat but no they took the hand-to-hand combat completely out and put in new different types of shields which are all s*** by the way including the Perry Shield the timing for it is so much more tighter than it ever has been compared to 2018 and if you want to make the Parry shield in Ragnarok feel a little bit like 2018's, you got to put on one of the enchantments that makes the Parry timing bigger.....smh why Santa Monica Studios........
I wish in New game plus challenge you can choose to play as Atreus (or for fun 😊 as Freya or Thor) and be able to choose other type of enemies like the Dreki, dragon or Drake, those type of big monster at the end of the game it becomes a bit boring always battling human like creatures in challenges

I'll have to see if they added anything to make punching better. I only punched the whole game other than to use the special abilities on each weapon on cooldown. The Dwarf armor stuff that makes you poison on unarmed attacks was hilarious.

Wow what perfect timing! I literally bought ragnarok when it came out and never got around to playing it until a couple weeks ago. I recently beat it and am now cleaning up to 100%. This couldn’t have come at a better time.
After defeating GMGOW with level 1 everything, I can't wait to do a GMGOW+ with no armor, negative enchantments and tougher bosses! Might take me a year to beat it though...
I started my NG+ with my 100% save and it’s pretty much so easy now. My 100% save was completed in the hardest difficulty, and I started the NG+ on the easiest mode so Kratos will feel way too powerful 😂 I’m pretty much just doing it to see what changed, and to get more photomode shots and video clips.
I dont get it way they dont do a Endless Arena... killing wave after wave to see how hight you can come... Like the first 100 waves are scripted then after that its all random

@@shogun5945 found out that you cant access them until you have completed that part in the story where you wpuld aquire the spear anyway, only thing you can do with it from the start is open the nornir chest that the spear is required for. Completley pointless if you ask me
Yeah they somewhat Fumbled the bag with this update..... first they said that new game plus was going to be in the beginning of March not early April, the cloak is a nice addition and it looks great but not when you have a weapons clipping through it, then they add armor sets that are already in the 2018 GOW New Game Plus because of the try-hards using nothing but those two sets in 2018 God of War to kill all the Valkyries so of course Santa Monica Studios was like oh they really like those sets, lets bring them back I mean yeah it's kind of their fault but it's the fuckin players fault for not having anymore innovation in their builds everyone just wants to be Op with the same thing

There are burden enchantments now that decrease your stats if its to easy for you.
Why do the 2nd playthrough on the easiest mode? I can see why someone would do it for their 1st but not 2nd
