The nidavellir armour with the raven tears chest plate so far is the best choice for me. It's incredible how fast i can kill enemies. Aswell as how easy it is to not die with it
@@ElijahValid I actually changed my build up a few times because I got really good at parrying, but I was using that build for a while. It deff works. Your damage output will start to lack a little bit on harder difficulties.
I love rocking the Steijnborn armour set as it makes you feel like an absolute tank. If you pair the Steijnborn chest piece with the bracers and waist peice of another amour set of your choosing you can still get a decent strength stat, So during boss fights you can just do as much damage as possible without having to worry about getting hit since you take a fraction of the damage. The Undying Pyres set and the Dragon Scaled set are both amazing choices aswell. Love your videos man, Keep it up!
I'm half way through, and haven't seen a better armor than the original armor we started the game with. After level 6 this armor becomes a beast in stats. All stats. Which is the only armor that increases all stats
I'm currently using the beginning armor at max level and it's probably the best, at least in terms of all around stats. It has great strength, defense, and vitality so it's good to use for a balanced build, which is what I'm doing
Well, if some is wondering if they can upgrade the default armor to the max (cause you like the look of it) the answer is yes. And it's affective as well. You can use it till the very end.

PRO TIP.....don't sleep on the starting gear!! the "survival" gear. getting any piece of the "survival" gear to level 7 greatly boosts ALL stats! yes, they don't have a perk attached to them. but still, stats-wise, they are great all-around gear.
A lot of people are singing the praises of the default armor set without realizing that the bonus stats it gets are largely placebo in practice. It gets extra stats in exchange for no perks but they aren’t higher values on existing ones like str or def. Rather you literally just get the other stats like luck or runic. Why is this meh in practice? Because those stats are specialized and do nothing unless deliberately using gear that scales with them. Luck affects only your drop chance on materials and proc chance on passives. You have no passives if using the default armor. Runic affects runic attacks and status damage. As well as passives which again you don’t have. Cooldown is self explanatory but the point is. You are giving up several passives you would actually use in exchange for stats that will likely be wasted.
Surprisingly, the starting armor is actually the best if you upgrade it. It's the best in my opinion because it has a high level for each Stat, so it's a balenced armor set

The regular armor and weapon set are pretty strong. I actually wish the guardian shield had something that set it apart from the dauntless shield so that you could go through the game with just basic equipment
Tips for the two girls one guy (pause) use the Lunda build he made a video about because poison lowers the levels of enemies which combo with dragon brasers and dragon waist will boost things farther to drain the health of the sisters and dude quickly. Just be good at dodges and blocking if you going to use it.
The Unending Pyrs armor set combos with SO many pieces of equipment. Counting the weapon handles and enchantments, there are about 9 that all boost effects of getting the permafrost/immolation/maelstorm gauge full. The other sets are good, but I always feel like they don't have as much potential as the Pyr set
Just unlocked Musspelheim and the second half of the key was not in the same World as the first half, it was in the golden chest at the back of Frey's camp behind the glowing rock.

I dont understand why they didnt add a skin system for the armor parts like Assassins Creed........you can choose the armor parts with stats/perks you like, now you can pick the look as you like lots of armor parts are ugly as hell imo but have nice abilitys, cant run around for hours with an ugly kratos
Upgrade a armor piece to level 9 and you unlock transmog (that’s the skin system you are referring to) Your transmog options are the gear pieces you have in your inventory, so don’t get rid of something you like the look of if it isn’t liable to your play style
Honestly I have to disagree with what you said of the fallen stars armor set being one of the best armors of the game. The perk of the chest, most of the times, is useless because most of the runic attacks don't take that long to execute even when upgraded, apart from the wrath of the ancient frost and maybe the spear light attack where you stab several times. And if you think you may be vulnerable to enemies while doing them, almost all of them push backwards the enemies so they don't attack you. And the perk of the gauntlets and the waist is completely overcome by the spiritual set, which has a low LUCK chance to restore some Cooldown for RNC attacks when attacking. Therefore, in the fallen stars armor set I would've put the Giptumadr's cuirass and the spiritual gauntlets and waist. Just my opinion... 😉

Berserker armor with berserker king relic... It was the only way I could reliability beat Gna. Pitty it was extremely late game and not much else to use it later on.

The chest plate is worthless in end game. Should switch to the arms and waist for extra healing, and use the nidavellir chest piece

That's Tyr's Armor from the first game!!! It should have bonuses to all stats like it had in the first game but it doesn't.

Radiance set realm shift doesnt have cd, as long as you do last sec dodges then youre always gonna be on realm shifts
Also csn combine it with a certain spear handle that activates realm.shift after using maelstrom. Basically play the game in slow mo
