    I love your nail transformation videos! A lot of nail techs online use models with perfect nails already, so it’s nice to see that you can give people beautiful nails even if they have some problems.

      I did too for a long time, but I was able to stop. I just started using nail polish and I never bit a polished nail, so now they're long

    I cured my nail biting by getting acrylic nails. Best thing ever!!! Great video!!

    It's so amazing how talented some nail techs are.
    I've had my nails done dozens of times, and the work was always beautiful.
    But it wasn't this thorough.
    Gluing tip and sculpting acrylic is no doubt a decent method and it's clear that the techs are talented, but I know they do that method because it's fast.
    I've never found a salon that does this kind of sculpting work.
    Your clients must treasure you!

    Excellent. I have a neighbour who has terribly bitten nails and she has given me the go ahead to make them look lovely. I do so love polygel, it's so malleable and firm, it's an ideal product for this. Thanks for sharing. :)

    This is so refreshing. I’ve been biting my nails my whole life and it’s really embarrassing sometimes seeing how short they are around other people. I just bought my first polygel kit and I’m so glad I came across your video to help see how it’s done for bitten nails. You did a wonderful job!

      How was the poly gel nails on your short nails. I want to get the poly gel nail started set but wonder if I need then to grow a bit more. My nails are in bad shape from biting…

    • @sprintzr2171
      @sprintzr2171 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shannonwhitfield8943 After doing it a few times I would probably recommend trying to grow them out a tiny bit more. It definitely works with short nails, but from my experience it doesn’t last nearly as long as they would on longer nails. I’m also a beginner when it comes to applying the gel so it could also be user error as well. I hope this helps!

    I just love your videos! Your accent is amazing. I wonder as a beginner, when doing such short nails is the goal to build them up and have them flat? Or is there still an apex to the nail? I've got bitten nails under polygel nails done with dual forms but I'd love to give this a go. Amazing results!

    • @nicolewelch6165
      @nicolewelch6165 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @vcamie8755
      @vcamie8755 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You always want an apex. The longer the nail the more product you need at the apex structure, for a short nail you don't need much of an apex but a "flat" nail never looks nice.

    Hi Anastasia, I wanted to ask you if I could use an acid primer with the polygel? Both my daughter and I’s nails seem to lift by two weeks with a non acid primer. I do use a base gel and do all the proper prep work including removal of cuticles from nail plate and sidewalls. I’ve been doing nails for 20+ years. I use the acid primer on acrylic nails and have no problem with lifting and can go 3-4 weeks between fills. Thanks.

    • @Nailcou
      @Nailcou  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hello! It depends on the system but from my experience non-acid primer works best for Polygel. You can also use soak off base coat from any gel polish system for better adhesion. I had Q&A Polygel video, hopefully, I will find it for re-uploading.
