You hear some people (few) on these threads making really nasty, judgemental comments about Andre and you can tell they haven't educated themselves about Andre's entire history from day one. Andre had to deal with extremely ignorant people all his life. People forget that he literally went out into the world by himself at age 14. Some of the things people say - say a lot about 'them'. Nobody's perfect but Andre will always be a man I truly admire, love and respect.

It has since been sold a few times.
Actually had a tree growing through the main house.

We just talked and drank about everything, growing up, wrestling, travelling, playing cards, problems he had from his huge size, the tests he had in Japan😢😢😢,,things he did when not working. At one point😂😂😂 I got the giant juice when he took his shoulder strap and rapped it around my neck, lol, I felt honoured that he did that, truly honoured…..
At the end of the night when he had to go, I remember to this day what I thought, “dam, I wish I could drink with him every Saturday night.” He was a smart, kind, thoughtful, gentle giant. I don’t know if anyone else felt this but after talking for a little bit you knew he was a giant but you didn’t think about it, he was a good person that’s all that counted…
One of the best nights of my life…
RIP big fella, hope to see ya at the big beer table…

Thursday nights at Memorial Hall in Kansas City Kansas, great wrestling, Bob Giegel, Danny Little Bear, The Stomper, The Viking, great wrestlers and a lot of fun, my Dad would take me and a bunch of my friends every 2 or 3 weeks, we would watch wrestling then go to McDonald's and stuff ourselves, this was when cheeseburgers were.$.19 and fries were $.15 , we would get several burgers each, we had a blast

André's late brother (I can't seem to recall his name, or even whether or not André had more than one brother…) would regularly recount an anecdote about them once getting a flat tire without having a jack on-hand. Allegedly, in lieu of a jack, André lifted the car himself while his brother and sister switched the flat out for a spare lol With that kind of power, it's no surprise that he'd lift even a big fella' like Jesse Ventura up like a small child xD

Andre was a class act even at 7'5" and over 500 lbs as I'm realizing how greatful that I'm becoming of Jesse Ventura all of a sudden. I realize that Jesse was a villain in the ring but putting Vince McMahon in his place was the ultimate treatment of his that needed to happen

Andre was a total JO. I saw him outside the Spectrum throw a program at a kid after he ripped it in half and all the kid wanted was for Andre to just sign the problem. The nicest thing was for Andre to just say no but this was just a nasty giant being ungrateful to the public for making him a millionaire period and this kid was only like 10.

Definitely a blessing but a few guy's actually had the courage to call him out when he went a little too far. Andre respected that and they worked it out. That says a lot about him in a good way. People forget that he left home when he was 14. What a life he had. Truly amazing Man 💌

He is no longer welcomed by his fellow SEALs over successfully suing the publishing company for $1.8 million over American Sniper Chris Kyle had in print about him allegedly knocking Jesse out cold. The publishing company's insurance paid it out. Kyle's widow never had to cough up a single dime yet she was portrayed as a victim and Jesse as the victimizer. I think he's had his fill of serving the country.

We tried to peak into the locker room and Andre walked over to the vent window 8 feet up and his hand filled the whole window largest hands in the world. We about pissed ourselves😮
