your take on ceramics is backwards. Tracking it's more beneficial with steel brakes due to the lower cost and replacement frequency. Ceramics will last much longer for normal street driving (probably will out last the ownership) and will provide minimal brake dust making the wheels easier to clean and nicer looking longer.

Great Video and pretty fair to both models. Two hugely different pedigrees. Balance the very new with the very evolved. I suspect that it will always come down to personal preference with the Lucidites quoting superb stats and the Taycanistas saying yes but its not a Porsche.

All taycans have a frunk, not as big but enough for your cables or a little suitcase.

Both look like great cars; however, if you are not the kind of person who buys a new car every year or two, I would be concerned that lucid may not be around in 5 years.

the taycan is a far more interesting car. and sometimes in reach of some ppl (see @anna). im not the target market for the lucid, its just so boring.

The Taycan is superior when it comes to design, handling, suspension, prestige, and curb appeal. Also, the Lucid is in part a Saudi-owned company, so no thank you.

I wouldn’t say this at all. Although the Taycan is extremely sexy, more people gawk at my Lucid in comparison to my Taycan to the point where it’s night and day.
The Taycans driving experience isn’t matched, but Lucid is a close #2 on that with significantly more range and interior space which does make a huge difference.

@@TheGamingArt I personally think the lucid looks like a cheap car. My wife’s April fools joke was that she wants a lucid cuz the look grew on her 😂 I was not happy for a few minutes.
