You said that it is a traveling machine. I just came home from a 4200km trip from Norway to Italian alps. The Tricity worked wonderful. The trip of my life -so far.

@@BenalRida yes I did. In my country the first bike license only ride up to 200cc, I will need to wait until next year to take another license for up to 400cc then I’ll get this!

I have the Tech Camo version in the UK , I visited the Yamaha dealer yesterday and there were 2 new 2022 Tricity models , the colours were a light Blue and the other was a Silver White , I don't know what other new colours there are . I did not see any changes to the Scooter itself from the 2021 model

Forza and ADV are good scooters.Forza is popular in 🇯🇵 Japan.These are 250cc
It's a small amount of exhaust due to Japanese traffic laws.

Hello, yes, the Piaggio MP3 500 has a reverse gear, but unfortunatley the TriCity does not. Thanks for watching!

Nice scooter if a bit underpowered with 28hp for 2-up riding pulling that 239kg lump around . It's only 21kg Less than my 650 Burgman & that puts out 56hp. Disappointed that Yamaha didn't cram more info on the screen at 1st glance , Seems a bit weird that you have to keep pushing a button to see all the variables when there is a lot of wasted space along the bottom that could have it all there at a glance. Apart from those couple of niggles would I have one ..... Maybe if the price wasn't so steep & it had an extra 10hp.

I’m looking to buy a trike the ones I’m looking at are the Yamaha you reviewed, Peugeot Metropolis and Piaggio MP3 out of the 3 what comes out on top.
Depends on what is important to you?! Personally I would buy the TriCity.
I had own a piaggio mp3 500 and now i own the tricity 300. The overall quality is much better on the Yamaha. And it's fast enough for what i need
@@dragosalexandrescu140 What did you specifically find not in high quality about the MP3? people are saying the quality and price of Yamaha's parts and accessories are pretty good but I just simply don't like the ugly design of the Tricity so I don't know what to choose...MP3 which I love visually or the Tricity which I dislike? is the MP3 that bad like you make it look?
@@21EC what I think it's better on the tricity is the quality of the plastics, the paint color and the driving experience. And Yamaha it's more reliable and have more km interval for replacing some parts. The design it's subjective. I personally like it more over MP3. You should test drive both and after decide
@@dragosalexandrescu140 I don't even have a license yet, I'm just pre planning stuff and may choose one of them in the future, I guess trying them both is the best idea to decide which to buy, as for comfortness..how comfort is it to drive on a scooter with helmet on and eyeglasses as well..? I'm worried that might not be so fun and comfortable after all.

A Honda NC750X is 224kg, the Tricity being 15kg heavier isn't a huge difference compared to a standard motorcycle

Damn...so its curves are stable and unlike the MP3 curves...I don't know what to do now and which Scooter to choose since I really love the design of the MP3 and it looks much more fun to ride it but then again you said it's curves are not as stable as the Tricity and that's a bummer because I really don't like the design of the Tricity, it looks ugly and bulky and not fun at all to ride but curve handling is very important I guess so even tho I dislike it's look I might end up deciding to choose it over the MP3 (that's only if I'll one day be able to test drive it and feel like it's actually fun to ride).

Ein Problem mit dem Steh Mechanismus, war schon in der Werkstatt Material wird jetzt bestellt und dann ausgetauscht, frag mal bei deiner General Vertretung Yamaha nach, das haben schon andere aus Deutschland gemacht und haben den Rückruf für ihre 300er Tricity bekommen
Es gab auch ein Problem mit der hinteren Bremsscheibe in Ö und D. wurde voriges Jahr ausgetauscht, wenn die bei dir zum Quietschen / singen anfängt dann lass sie nicht abschleifen das sagen die in den Werkstätten

@@edwardsp1916 last week the Key light has turn on when driving. I stoped, switched off the bike and on again and its ok again

This is the only trike scooter that doesn't look like it was designed by a monkey with Rabies.
Doesn't look like much fun to ride, honestly, MP3 appears like much more fun on the roads, I wish MP3 had better curve handling, that's the only thing that bothers me now about it.
