Owned one of these for 2 years, amazing machine feels more like a leaning quadbike, extreme grip and stability in the rain and on poorly maintained roads, 16000 miles and rock solid reliability. 75 to 95 mpg depending on how hard you ride.

Good review! As a car driver and as someone who would like one of these fully automatic scooters, this is a way of getting one without the hassle of getting a full motorbike licence. Most of all though I really like the engineering of this trike. It makes it stand out from all the other scooter bikes.

Glad you enjoyed it Stuart. As you say, it’s an easy step into the realms of getting on two wheels. Or in this case 3. Without doing another licence. 🤙

As I get older, three-wheelers appeal to me. I live in two countries. In one, I've have a Can-Am F3-3 [really great ride and surprisingly quick: 1330cc inline triple; 0-60 MPH in 4.8 seconds] and a Buell Ulysses. In the other, I have a Yamaha SCR950, KTM 390 Duke and a Yamaha Aerox 155 scooter. The Tricity's engine is too small for the weight and way too expensive. I am living in hope that Honda will make a tilting three-wheel scooter with the Africa 1100 DCT engine in it. It won't happen. A Tricity 550 wouldn't be a bad option.
    Thorough review. Nick

Why do you need to hate on someone who has different views on riding gear? You make your choice, they make theirs, as do I. One of our gang rides in shorts and t-shirt. I wouldn't, but it is his right to do so. I don't judge him. He's a grown man that makes his own choice! I'm armoured gear all the way with lots of jacket vents for the summer! :-)
