I'm from the Netherlands and I read a few days ago that in June 2022 Nightwish will perform on Pinkpop (Landgraaf) , a very famous open air festival in my country. I've never been there in whole my life but special for Nightwish I want to make an exception. And I don't hope that COVID-19 will sabotage this happening.
love your reactions dears. And after "the poet and the pendelum"live in wembley 2016, 'Nightwish - The Greatest Show On Earth (Live Tampere)' . regardes from Spain
@@tsmartin Yeah, I mentioned reading up on the backstory in my comment as well when I recommended Poet and the Pendulum. It's their darkest piece, and also their most personal. Understanding the backstory not only makes the piece hit harder, I also think that it makes certain parts of the song more understandable.
I must have seen this particular live video (and other renditions of "Ghost Love Score") hundreds of times. And still here I am, grinning happily fixed at the computer screen, getting goosebumps and watching new people getting swept up by NIGHTWISH. I am owned, and you girls will be too. Good for you! A wonderful journey beckons. ;))
NIghtwish is band from Finland. Usually considered symphonic metal, but exceeds genre labels. They started with a purely operatic singer in 1997, then had a more rock-sounding vocalist from 2007. Since 2012 the lead singer is Floor Jansen from the Netherlands, also in the video. Incredibly versatile, she can do anything from operatic vocals to growling. The music is composed by the keyboardist, Tuomas Holopainen. All of the members are amazing musicians, the shows always have great quality and added production value.
I just found your channel, watched two videos, I wanted more, so I looked for more, and I was so so disappointed that you only had 5 videos! Please, keep going, I have fun watching you going to the dark side! Greetings from Chile. ^.^
Girls, it's not wrong to do both videos but as you already know Metallica and you're new to Iron Maiden, so go with Hallowed Be Thy Name! Iron Maiden is completely different so go with it first.
From what I read, there were 80,000 people at that concert. I would have really enjoyed being there. The whole concert is on TH-cam if you want to watch it in your spare time. I love how many changes there are in this song, and how it keeps you riveted for the whole song. I see you both enjoyed it, and that's awesome. And you are right, the female singer, Floor Jansen is really talented and the contrast between her voice and the music makes it wonderful. Regarding the next video, why not do one right after the other LOL. Thanks for making these videos, I enjoy them a lot.
It is notable considering how into the song the crowd was that this is a festival, so all those people weren't necessarily Nightwish fans... though I imagine a lot more were after the show!
I have watched and listened to Ghost Love Score a thousand timrs and it never fails to give me shivers down my spine whenever Floor hits the high notes.
Nightwish can get alot rougher than this song (and so can she btw). A rather mellow tune, still a masterpiece of course, and one of my favorites of them. Want a taste of that rougher side, I can recommend Romanticide from the very same concert.
Welcome to the world of Nightwish and the beautiful voice of Floor Jansen... The greatest show on earth (live at Tampere).... you will love it! For a much greater "contrast" try "Song of myself" also from Wacken 2013
Not only the range, ever her style of singing and her attitude fits so much better with the songs and the band... For years I was not able to listen to "sleeping sun" because I always found Tarja was way to much opera style for this song... Finally we got a live version with Floor and now it is one of my favs. @Ian Stevenson
Hell, Bach and Beethoven would've had a blast with distorted guitars with their darker materials. I mean, i can practically hear drums and palm muted rhythms on Beethoven's Pathetique
@@brent3522 Most of Beethoven's shit can be translated to guitar pieces / full band sets and they sound fucking incredible. Moonlight Sonata's 3rd is definitely one of my favourite guitar pieces
The poet and the Pendulum Storytime Song of Myself Romanticide Phantom of the Opera High Hopes (cover from Pink Floyd) The Islander Ghost River Everdream Wish I had an Angel 7 Days to the Wolves Greatest show on Earth She is my Sin Master Passion Greed (there is no live version of this one) Dark Chest of Wonders Amaranth Kiss While your Lips are still red Wacken and Wembley versions if possible. Floor is the best for me, specialy live, and peformed all of these but Phantom of the Opera is with Tarja and some Marco sings alone / most of it
That final note, so full of conviction, without a single waver she didn't mean to put in there. yeah ... She knows she nailed it, and it shows, with that smile at the end.
Having fun with my son watching all your videos, as you ladies sit on what appears to be the most comfortable couch in existence. The original singer in this song is even more operatic. Nightwish is very cinematic. Another cinematic song, “Paradise (What About Us)” is a song where the video is kind of like an apocalyptic action video - almost like a movie - and the lyrics seem to go along with the imagery. That song is by Within Temptation featuring Tarja, the original singer of “Ghost Love Score”. The band is great. I especially enjoy the guitar - rhythm and solo - but the whole band is excellent. The duet between Sharon of Within Temptation and Tarja is amazing. They are 2 beautiful woman saying to the world, “what about us?”
Ahh! Welcome to Nightwish. I'm a simple man. I see a Nightwish reaction, I watch. If you will allow me, I would like to play ambassador and give you a potential order of songs to react to. This is like a fine dining experience, you don't want to jump past all the tasty appetizers and go straight to the main course! Below is the order I think helps you experience Nightwish fully and exposes you to their talents. Included is a TH-cam video ID and a brief description. 1 - Ghost Love Score (You're here, and it's a great way to be introduced to the band and Floor Jansen) 2 - Romanticide [zz_7OCCQlXs] (Now that you have a taste for the angelic, hear the heavy side of Floor. This will also introduce you to Marco's singing (bass player). Floor also shows her range in one grand slide from the bottom of her range to the top.) 3 - The Poet and the Pendulum - Live at "Webmley" [gbn9GczYBkw] (The video title has a misspelling. This is the second of the three epics. You'll definitely want to read the background to this song first.) 4 - The Phantom of the Opera [8VgLKXD-BoY] (After Pendulum, visit their former singer Tarja (Pronounced Tar-ee-ya) and her more operatic style) 5 - Yours Is An Empty Hope [XtXqUNB8zrU] (Another heavier song. I just find this song to be fun and it was recorded on the Nightwish Cruise! Listen for Floor Jansen's growling during the chorus!) 6 - The Greatest Show on Earth [45brzDJKZ3o] (This is the big one. A 21-minute song about the formation of our solar system and the rise of humanity.) After this, there are so many songs to visit. However, I feel the above really lets you dip your toes in slowly and enjoy the ride.
NightWish are amazing, welcome aboard - anything from this concert is incredible, but also they have two other live DVDs worth checking out - Wembley 2015 & Tampere 2016 - these are also flawless from start to finish. Great reaction girls, keep em coming 🤘

Welcome to the Nightwish train ladies. It’s going full steam ahead. Two of my personal favourite Nightwish songs are “7 days to the wolves” and “Shudder before the beautiful”. But they have so many great songs both old and new. Current singer Floor Jansen is definitely my favourite Nightwish singer of the three over the bands life.
first of all, if you do "for whom the bell tolls" it should be the live S&M version. and yes, that's my vote. secondly, I'm so glad y'all did this song! I had been thinking of requesting it, but y'all were on a metallica kick, which just happens to be my favorite band, so I wasn't gonna stop that train from rolling. interestingly enough, nightwish is my 2nd favorite band and floor jansen is my favorite singer. you could literally listen/ react to any live nightwish song from 2013+ and you will love it because floor is a friggin goddess that we are not worthy to listen to, and yet she graces us with her beautiful and perfect voice because she loves us.
Nightwish is phenomenal and you have started down an epic path. They have so many great songs. Do For whom the Bell Tolls next. It is one of the best songs from Metallica. And then do the Iron Maiden song straight after that. It is one of Iron Maidens best songs. Two great bands and two great songs.

I have personally loved them since around 2004, they are my favourite band and Ghost Love Score is my favourite song of all time. I fell in love with it when Tarja sang the vocals on the studio version, but then Floor came along and made it even more epic!!
A few songs I would recommend:
Nightwish - Romanticide live at Wacken 2013
Nightwish - Poet and the Pendulum live at Wembley 2015
Nightwish - Song of Myself live at Wacken 2013
Nightwish - Weak Fantasy live at Tampere 2015
Nightwish - The Greatest Show on Earth live at Tampere 2015
Nightwish - The Phantom of the Opera live at end of an era (with Tarja)
Nightwish is nothing without Tarja.
@@mikeymcmikeface5599 Agreed! IT IS ONLY NIGHTMARE!
@@mikeymcmikeface5599 She left 14 years ago, get over it.
@@TheMechanicalGirl999 The only nightmare here is you guys crying about Tarja. If you love her so much, go watch the End of an Era concerts. This is Floors time now. Accept it.
@@chozo1325 Exactly, I know this won't stop it, but I'm SO damn sick of this goddamn whining..as if that will change anything.
You're right in that experiencing the concert live, as opposed to from a screen, is 10x more epic. There are truly no words to describe it and you should definitely try and see them live if you have a chance!
F L O O R G A S M
'Her voice caresses my brain'. Beautiful! It also caresses my soul.
Newest victims of a Floorgasm. Next, The Poet and The Pendellum, Romanticide, Song of Myself, Storytime and finally The Greatest Show on Earth.
All solid choices, but I'd rather see them do Epica - Sancta Terra featuring Floor😃
Greatest show on earth IS pretty epic
@@johnosenbaugh2250 It really lives up to the name.
More Nightwish! Yours is an empty hope, Romanticide and Greatest show on earth.
Was so cool watching the expressions on your faces change throughout the song. Especially as the beat pix up after the intro & when she began to sing then as it slows then pix up 4 the epic ending. Your faces say it all! U can never experience Nightwish 4 the 1st time again but watchin u both react 2 it 4 the1st time was a blast! FANTASTIC! 🌹🤘🎶🥂😘
Thank you for your comment we really enjoyed discovering this new band !! :) if you have any suggestion let us know :)
@@TwoSistersReact - Thanx Ladies 🌹. And I have so many suggestions of what to react to that I sometimes just can't decide on one so I sit back & enjoy bc ya'll are doin pretty good. I enjoy watchin your journey. Since u asked I will narrow it down to these two recommendations: 1) Pearl Jam - Black (Live Unplugged w/ lyrics) *If u can't find the live performance w/ lyrics then make sure u do live & have lyrics on hand. PJ is my fave band & the lead singer Eddie Vedder is my fave singer/ songwriter.*
2) "Alice n Chains - Love, Hate, Love (Live At The Moore)" *His voice is insanely powerful & u can feel his raw emotion. Make sure to listen to the very end bc it seems like its over for a sec then he kills it again (Lead singer is Layne Staley. FYI: He died way too soon. RIP Layne).
Both bands r considered alternative/ grunge rock & they became huge in the 90s. Pearl Jam is still going w/ most original members. They were recently inducted in the RnR Hall of Fame.
Sorry for the novel but I think it i helpful to provide a little background.
Keep up the great content & genuine reactions & your subs will blow up. ❤🎶
They have tons of mega great songs... can't even imagine!
Floorgasmic! Keep enjoying Nightwish and you are amazed at every song
Welcome to Nightwish, great reaction, next try listen and not cry "the poet and the pendelum"live in wembley 2016.
love your reactions dears. And after "the poet and the pendelum"live in wembley 2016, 'Nightwish - The Greatest Show On Earth (Live Tampere)' . regardes from Spain
Before listening to "The Poet and the Pendulum" please read up on the back story.
Do some background check on that song before listening to it or it will not have the same impact. But if you do it Will blow your mind 😍
Also. Remember to put in some crap every 2 min so that the video dont get removed over copyright. Happens alot with that song.
Loved this and love nightwish so much!!
nightwish romanticide i think you would like from the same show
Damn it! Was gonna say the same thing! The normal, STUNNING voice of Floor mixed with a side of badass. Love it!
Yes, you'll love Romanticide. It's heavyer, melodic, shorter. And it's about finding a way out from toxic relationship. A burst of energy.
my life Hoseason It’s NOT true NW.
@@nickgeer8095 what is the definition of "true NW"?
Gabriel Bardac I wrote it on my thread. Next to this one. I can’t be bothered re-writing it. But... i stand by what I said. True NW is dead.
Congrats for your first Floorgasmmm..
The poet and the pendulum will get your eyes and melt your insides
The Wacken Open Air 2019 was sold out after 4 Days (85.000 ppl)! There were 197 Band playing last year (135 Bands in 2013).
Her name is Floor? Sorry but that's pretty hilarious lmao
@@Axelovskji Yes her first name is Floor. She is Dutch.
I can tell you young ladies loved that .
Yes, you did it! Don't know yet how you liked it, but hoping for the best. :)
We rly enjoyed it!! Her voice is awesome!!
Welcome to the Nightwish Army!!! YOU ARE NOT READY FOR THIS!!!!!!
Welcome to the world of Nightwish and the beautiful voice of Floor Jansen... The greatest show on earth (live at Tampere).... you will love it! For a much greater "contrast" try "Song of myself" also from Wacken 2013
Well, that's your opinion ;-)@WhoDarestheMAN gamer
Not only the range, ever her style of singing and her attitude fits so much better with the songs and the band... For years I was not able to listen to "sleeping sun" because I always found Tarja was way to much opera style for this song... Finally we got a live version with Floor and now it is one of my favs. @Ian Stevenson
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer as I said, that's your opinion.
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer but if you like someone style or not is opinion. Tarja can go over 20 octaves, i don't Care.
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer and if you like a Song with One or the other is only about opinion.
sorryto say i was in that public watching this live that evening ,i had goosebumps
No auto tune pop princess just genuine talent.
I was at the consert and it was just that amazing. I've watched so many reactions lately and the performance still give me goosebumps every time!
Oh and my vote is "Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name". But you cannot go wrong with Metallica or Iron Maiden but that IM song is incredible
Honestly Hallowed Be Thy Name is probably the greatest heavy metal song ever written
This is what it's all about! As a Dutchman I think it's incredible that she the frontlwoman of Nightwish. Wow! So proud of her!!!❤❤❤
I have never heard of them and I’m just amazed! Thank you.. 💞
One of the best bands I ever heard.
Nightwish - The Poet And The Pendulum - Live at WEMBLEY 2015
If electric guitars had been invented in the 19th century - I'm sure Wagner would have made something like this!
@@brent3522 if you not know them yet be sure to check out "son of a bach". They take Bachs music and arrange it to epic metal compositions
Please try Unleash the Archers - Awakening, you will not be disappointed I promise!
Totally. Agree !! Do UTA !!
It´s an awesome track that´s for sure!
Yep epic
Came here to say this.
The studio version. They are masters to behold.
What a great singer!
A new reaction to Ghost love score? I'll be there xD Love (still) reacting (myself) to the song! And watch people enjoying it aswell!
You ladies should watch that whole show you won't be disappointed I assure you. Great reaction cheers 🍻
Romanticide live 2013
I heard of the band . my first time hearing them also. 🤘🤘🤘
The poet and the Pendulum
Storytime
Song of Myself
Romanticide
Phantom of the Opera
High Hopes (cover from Pink Floyd)
The Islander
Ghost River
Everdream
Wish I had an Angel
7 Days to the Wolves
Greatest show on Earth
She is my Sin
Master Passion Greed (there is no live version of this one)
Dark Chest of Wonders
Amaranth
Kiss While your Lips are still red
Wacken and Wembley versions if possible.
Definatly their Masterpiece... the best FLOORGASM ever ;) ! ...and 90.000 at WACKEN felt the same for sure !
Nightwish and Floor are simply amazing!
Thank you for listening to them you both look amazing btw 😍
1 - Ghost Love Score (You're here, and it's a great way to be introduced to the band and Floor Jansen)
2 - Romanticide [zz_7OCCQlXs] (Now that you have a taste for the angelic, hear the heavy side of Floor. This will also introduce you to Marco's singing (bass player). Floor also shows her range in one grand slide from the bottom of her range to the top.)
3 - The Poet and the Pendulum - Live at "Webmley" [gbn9GczYBkw] (The video title has a misspelling. This is the second of the three epics. You'll definitely want to read the background to this song first.)
4 - The Phantom of the Opera [8VgLKXD-BoY] (After Pendulum, visit their former singer Tarja (Pronounced Tar-ee-ya) and her more operatic style)
5 - Yours Is An Empty Hope [XtXqUNB8zrU] (Another heavier song. I just find this song to be fun and it was recorded on the Nightwish Cruise! Listen for Floor Jansen's growling during the chorus!)
6 - The Greatest Show on Earth [45brzDJKZ3o] (This is the big one. A 21-minute song about the formation of our solar system and the rise of humanity.)
After this, there are so many songs to visit.
I'm so happy you girls reacted to Nightwish! You'll really enjoy Romanticide from the same show. Do Iron Maiden...
Thus far my fave Nightwish song/video is 'Bye Bye Beautiful.'...this one's right up there.
Oh, you opened a can of nightwish fans now, all you going to see now is poet and the pendulum, the greatest show on earth, and some other requests. And Epica fans will join with sancta terra ft Floor, consign to oblivion and some other songs 😁. I will be waiting for nightwish and Epica reactions.

NIGHTWISH.... THE POET AND THE PENDULUM !!

Girls greetings from Argentina !
