I love Troy's voice at the end. and find it very appropriate. The inspiration was Tuomas' father's death, and the final lines speak of the transition from life to death, of going into the forest of Yesterwynde.
The interesting thing when you discuss Marco v Troy is how Tuomas takes whatever the lineup gives him--Troy, Marco, Tarja, Anette, Floor--and creates a "Nightwish" around that but one that does not try to recreate the old but takes the new baseline and grows from there. He forms Nightwish to the current talent but it is still Nightwish. What an amazing group.
This is like a warm hug from Floor and Nightwish. Tuomas wrote this in 2021 after his fathers passing. It's a tribute to them who was here befor us. It's also a tribute to life it self. Great to se you again Scotland. Take care. Cheers from a finn in Sweden.❤🎉

Tuomas wrote this when he lost his father but the intention was to give hope. A beautiful song for a beautiful reactor. Amazing that Floor recorded this album at home 6 weeks after giving birth to Lucy in only 6 days !!
I was thinking of him and kinda everything I have been through recently. I nearly lost my dad 3 times in the past 14 months (like serious complications with cancer) and although I didn't know Tuomas wrote this for his dad it defo made me think of mine.
@@themetalmuse I also like it better going back a little. I tend to think of my dad (who died in 1982) and our dog, Ty, who died a month ago. It's the opposite of 'bittersweet' - a happy sad song, rather than a sad happy song.

Love your reaction and reactions. To my eyes and ears everything was in Black n White like memories and Floors voice was the colours. A lovely, beautiful reaction! You are so spot on about Tuomas's and Floor's ability to make us feel things, even against our will. I played this song for my 23 year old daughter a few weeks ago and in the middle of the song she hugged me so tight and held on until the end. I get so emotional every time. Floor also got super emotional and broke into tears when Tuomas explained the song, it's meaning and first played it for her. It took multiple takes to record her vocals because she kept breaking into tears. Final song from the final album of the trilogy. It feels to me like someone saying goodbye to family and friends as their life comes to the end. Loads of beautiful imagery in the lyrics of seeing the end, of reminding those we love that we will always be present, of lamenting the unfinished things we leave behind (as is always the case), and then walking "to the trees". Since Tuomas is famous for writing lyrics for multiple interpretations I could also see this song where the narrator is death personified, much like the way the lyrics in Music were. A third way I see it is that the lyrics aren't necessarily about a person but are instead a metaphor for humanity and our walk through the eons of our existence which would fit well with the themes of the album trilogy. A number of references to Auri and other Nightwish songs. Auri is a side project of Tuomas, Troy, and Tuomas's wife Johanna Kurkela ( a well known Finnish pop/folk singer) that makes beautiful atmospheric mood music. "I am in the light and flood" and " I am in the four winds" IMO are shout outs to the Auri songs Light and Flood and The Name of the Wind, very beautiful instrumentals that have a similar feel. For me the line "I am you who climbed off your back" gives me Decades in the Sun vibes and of course "To the meadows I go" is tapping into the same symbolism and meaning as Meadows of Heaven. Heartachingly beautiful song and a perfect bookend to the album and trilogy. A beautiful tribute to Tuomas's father and all that are the lantern light for our journey through life. I agree with Tuomas, if we have lived a life of joy and meaning then we shouldn't be sad at the end but celebrate a life well lived. I think this song and Epica's Tides of Time will be the songs for my funeral when I pass. You should definitely check out some Auri as well as one of Tuomas's side projects, The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck (Tuomas wrote the album as a soundtrack to the Scrooge McDuck graphic novels by Don Rosa). For Auri I would recommend Desert Flower, The Space Between, and The Valley. For Scrooge I would recommend A Lifetime of Adventure.
@themetalmuse There are a couple good fan cams of Slow Love Slow with Floor singing it just a couple of weeks after joining Nightwish. In Ft. Lauderdale Oct 2012. Small club space. Floor was very sultry, and the ending vocal soared and made me think of Pink Floyd. Jazzy tune with Jukka intently playing drums with brushes just behind a sitting Floor.
It's about people who have passed away but are seen again in the daily things we do. They are always with you in everything you see and hear. Greetings from the Netherlands.
You sell yourself short 😀I don't know where it came from but it does kind of work. I love Floor, she is literally a generational talent. Emppu, Kai, Marco, all the rest are top tier. But Tuomas is so dammed good at what he does. I've wondered if Tuomas should find a comparable strong, classical metal voice to replace Marco. Mainly for the older songs. Somebody like Dan Vasc might work (and he covers a lot of Nightwish as well). But that's not really Tuomas' style.
Pure Floor. I love this song. Btw, this song was Floor's pick for a single, it made her cry when she first heard it (I had the same reaction to this song, it's so touching). Tuomas lost his father a few years ago and he wrote this song out of that emotion. The message is to enjoy life, as it's beautiful and should be celebrated instead of grieved when it ends.
@@themetalmuse ok thats fun, were are you going ? i am going with my daughter to Utrecht. but as a question then, how is your Dutch as her show will be in Dutch ? are you not afraid you miss to much ?
My personal song of the year 2024. Top 3 in my NW rating. Whatever guard you have up, when Floor's voice comes in she cut's thru it like a fresh sharpened butcher knife and get's you right into your soul and while your bleeding out you feel satisfied. When Floor goes into her emotional mode you can sleep in the finnish winter outside in the woods and still be warmed by her voice and feel comfortable. Much Love from Germany to you and your passionate reactions!
Hello again. I love this album from start to finish and this is such a perfect closing number. Floor is amazing and Troy's mellow vocals at the end are a lovely touch. Tuomas is showing what a true master composer is capable of. Simply awesome and thank you for this wonderful reaction. You are doing just fine backing up a bit when you restart.
Well, here in the UK we will probably never hear this song over all the bubblegum that is played endlessly. I wish our only hope, Jools Holland would invite Floor to perform on his show. One can dream!
I believe the reason for Troy's vocals at the end is that I think the song is from the perspective of the one passed away (Tuomas' father) and at the end the lines Troy sings are from the perspective of the one left behind (Tuomas).
Please don't apologize for pausing the video. We come here to share your experience watching these songs, if we want to watch uninterrupted we can watch the original, which we should be doing anyway. And yes this song hit all the feelings.
Lanternlight is breathtakingly gorgeous ❣️ Not able to listen to this with dry eyes, it goes straight to your soul. It’s so fragile and strong at the same time. What a gorgeous piece of music composed by Tuomas and so emotionally sung by Floor. Tuomas said that Lanternlight is a song of love to celebrate live of the people that passed. In this case mainly his dad. My favorite song from the new album followed by An Ocean of Strange Islands.
Great reaction again. A wonderfully beautiful song. In regards to the stopping and starting. I like the idea of going back 5 or 10 seconds. Gets you back in the groove of the song I think.
I think everything has already been said about this jewel of utter perfection, so I'll talk about something a bit more mundane. If you use your space bar to pause, rather than the mouse, then you won't see the progress bar at the bottom every time it starts playing again as long as your cursor is not in that area. The easiest way to rewind is to use the 'J' key, which will move it back 10 seconds per press. The left arrow key can also be used and that will rewind it 5 seconds per press.
Going back a little bit is a good idea :) Starting deep and low... [This sounds like her solo album, I think Tuomas likes the variety of her singing. Floor said that she chokes up too easily with this song, the band rewinds, during the sessions, to let her recover.] Mmm, the warmth of her voice. “Last night brought the heaviest of snows” That sad piano about to sink below the ice. “Melting the songs of old” A favourite bench, with a view. Reminiscences, love of the souls that have gone before. Tuomas wrote this in memory of his father. The pocket watch to wind... The old style film projector, a “Magic Lantern”. The old flickering movies, like memories. Floor soaring away. Celebration of their lives, rather than mourning. The delicate Piano, the strings Did you get the Tuomas déjà vu references? “I am the snow on your palm” [Storytime?] The way she uses her hands... “I am the secret stream” [Sagan, Shudder Before The Beautiful, Endlessness?] “Moss beneath your feet” [My Walden?] Oooh. “I am you who climbed off of my back” [Our Decades in the Sun?] “Petrichor” (with a hint of green) [The smell of fresh rain on grass, Last Ride Of The Day, Song of Myself?] “Timeless” (with a hint of a smile) [Perfume of the Timeless?] Phew. “To the meadows I go” [Meadows of Heaven?] Her soaring voice again. What? Tissues. I spotted a bus! Then Troy drifts in, with his wavering soft voice, right in the middle of your head. "A human voice alongside?" He made up the word, so his pronunciation, is our guide. :) Floor receding into the distance. Male choir. The projector... Pope Leo Xlll, who served until his death in 1903 at the age of 93. The restored, stabilised and colourised old movies inspired Tuomas. Oh, the Tongan "Sipi Tau", like the Kiwi "Haka" in Children of 'Ata, Rugby fans will hear it!
Floor's voice only became better during her pregnancy, she stated in an interview that even the lower registers were more pleasant so sing than before. She recorded all her vocals for this album at home, 6 weeks after the birth of Lucy. Sitting, as she still had problems standing, but her voice was in shape as you can hear. About (part of) the movie scenes in the background: I recognized pope Leo XIII and wiki is saying: "Leo XIII, who was born in 1810 and was thus 86 years old in 1896, is considered the earliest-born person ever to be captured on film. The images of him are well-known, and recently were enhanced and colorized on-line.”
Thanks for explaining the relevance of the Pope Leo XIII footage. Not immediately obvious given Tuomas’s Lutheran background. The fact that it’s in false colour seems to fit with bringing Darwin’s natural history collection back to life in the Perfume of the Timeless video.
On that island seen in the video, Tuomas spent dear time with his passed father. He is smiling in heaven when hearing this. Tuomas knows what he is doing and wants male voice to speak like his father duet part in the end.
Tuomas said it was Floor's idea for this to be the third music video, and she has also called it her favorite song on the album. So needless to say, she connects with it very well. It will be amazing when they/she gets around to performing it live. I only wonder if it will make it to her solo shows while Nightwish is still on hiatus.
@@themetalmuse I hope so! It fits perfect into her solo setlist, and I've no doubt it will get there eventually. The only question is if she'll perform it before Nightwish has a chance to perform it.
Hello Dear Lady, yes indeed Floor Jansen can make anyone weep, but tears of Joy and happiness, A bit of background for you. Tuomas rote this song when his father passed over, a few years back, and it was the first song he wrote for the new Nightwish Album, Yesterwyned, Also Tuomas Played the Piano when this was recoded, and it is so Beautiful. Thank You so Much, I Loved it. Also, you said some time back that you were going to the do, TGSOE But Live from Tampere, as you had seen the Wembley version of it, please, please do it when you have the time, you will Love it, and so will All your Supports x
I could listen to Floor just sing ooh's and ahh's like at the end of this song, for hours on end...just the BEST stress relief out in the world. Stress just melts away.
Laternlight, the last song of the Album, hit me like a brick. For me, this song is like a farewell, a hug, a consolation, a hope, a regret, a moving on... a source of strength. Although I already knew the song, the video hit me like a wrecking ball. Floor's gentle yet powerful voice combined with the visuals and Floor's vulnerability... Troy's voice at the end also fits very well for me. The grabbing of the film roll at the end of the film.... For me, this song symbolizes the farewell of someone who is leaving us at the very end of their life (they say that at the moment of death you see your life flash before your eyes, which the video somehow symbolizes for me). It symbolizes the sadness of parting, but also the promise that you will somehow always be with those left behind (family, children, friends), because no one leaves the world completely. Don't mourn for me, i had a fullfiled life, but be happy that we were able to spend our time together. Think of me ... for I am in the snowflake in your hands ... in the soil of your garden ... and I go before you in the circle of life ... to new shores, a new journey ...
You are a sweet and lovely lady with real emotions, and i am glad I discovered your reaction channel a long time ago. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
The feedback you asked: You are definitely doing the right thing by backing up after a pause. It helps to maintain the flow of a transition. And first time listeners have no idea where the key, critical transitions are going to be, so more often than not, a pause is selected right at a key moment that breaks the mood. A backup fixes this issue nicely. A convenient way to do consistent backups is to use the left cursor key. It will reliably drop you back five seconds for each click. Makes no difference to us on the listening end, but it prob'ly makes it easier for you.
The word that comes to mind for me is enveloping. Singing in her low range Floor brings you in and wraps those vocals around you. Going back 5 or 10 seconds after pausing is great for me.
Yes yes, l feel for you. This hits straight to your soul, l know. 🥹 And the white dressed clergyman at the end is pope Leo XIII (b.1810, d. 1903). He is the first filmed pope and the firstly born filmed human.
This is another Tuomas Holopainen masterpiece. He only keeps on getting better as his talent and vision matures. Absolutely stunning. This composition is as deep as the Marianas Trench and has more layers than a baklava. It is exquisite. I'm 73 and I am the last man standing in my family. I am the last of the Dorrity line. So this performance runs deep, cuts deep. I understand the feeling of loss, yet I still live with hope and intent. No small thing to live with intent. Nevertheless, Floor's voice and this composition is akin to an emotional depth charge to the heart. There is a tenderness and vulnerability there that I have not heard before, and it just breaks you. And her face, good Lord, her beautiful face so expressive and adorned with nothing save her heart and soul just melts me to my core. Look at her gestures, her hands. So tender, so expressive. Her hands are speaking to you as well in a language unto its own. I am not ashamed to say that this staggeringly beautiful composition and the meaning behind it makes me want to cry on Floor’s shoulder. I’m sure she would understand. The poetry of this song is also heart-rendingly exquisite. It is a poem, a prayer, an elegy. Listen to it. Just listen to it. Tuomas’ poetry can easily stand alone. Some of you get it. Some of you don't. I do, and that's all that matters. Kiitos to all of you in Nightwish for delivering such epic and emotional story telling. Addendum: This is more than a song, more than music, really. This is art and poetry of the highest level. in some respects, it is Tuomas' Finnish soul laid bare.
The reason Tuomas needs Troy's voice at the end is that Floor's voice needs to be withdrawing, fading into the woods, memory, and the past. His voice is just foreground narrative contrast (which is why it is played "straight") to let you hear the withdrawing angel - withdrawing. Earlier - "To the meadows I go - I'll be waiting for you". Now she has become "I am the secret stream", fading into "the timeless", no longer the foreground, pedestrian (literally "walking") "I". The poetry and play-staging needs it, not the music per se. (Yes you did see a video of the pope because it was one of the first movies ever made and widely seen. Video is a metaphor for memory, and the light of its camera shining through is - a magic lantern, lantern-light, the light of spirit and life.) So yes we know you want to hear more Floor, we all do. But the most moving effect here comes from her transcending us, away.
Nightwish just continues to evolve bringing philosophical and social mores into context via the incredible Nightwish communication tool…their music🤘🤘 Great review once again Dom and backup works for me👍…as I’ve said before you really “get” this band and it continues to show consistently in your reactions..so ramble away😀🤘🤘 Edgijng😮😂😂
Tuomas Holopainen wrote this just after his father died, he said this: "The last song on the album, Lanternlight, might fool you into thinking it's a sad song, but it's actually a love song and ends up on a very positive vibe. If you have somebody who has lived a very happy and a really long life, it's a moment of celebration and not of grief. This is the message we want to send." I understand took them some time to record this as Floor (A high sensitive person) broke down several times, if you look at the video in HD and on a big screen Floor was in tears in the video. The easy way to go back is the left arrow which gives you exactly 5 secs, right key will do 5 forwards and J key goes back 10 secs.
10:44 "Just gimme Floor". Oh absolutely. The only thing I liked abt Troy on this track was the use of his low hum as a sound-effect. That's about all it should be. He's simply not a lead vocalist and should have the good sense to refrain from getting in Floor's way. The overuse of Troy as a vocalist on this album has also been addressed by Floor herself in a recent interview. She talks about missing Marko while wondering how some of the new songs would've sounded if he had sung the male parts instead of Troy.
Musical perfection - as I'm sure someone has told you, Tuomas wrote this for his Father following his passing in 2021, he said its a tribute to and a celebration of a life well lived, for those who lit the way ahead for us. With regard to Troy's vocal towards the end, i have a feeling that is to represent Tuomas's father, the lyric 'i walk now towards the tree's, the night falling at my feet, into the forest of Yesterwynde'. Thats how i feel this anyway. For me, this is possibly the most beautiful song I've ever heard, it doesn't get better.
Am glad that you, like me, noticed film footage of a pope towards the end of this music video. Your comment prompted me to finally research all of the popes who preceded John Paul II. In doing so, I've managed to identify the pope as "Leo XIII (2 March 1810 - 20 July 1903) who was head of the Catholic Church from 20 February 1878 until his death. He was also the first pope to be filmed by a motion picture camera. He was filmed in 1896 by inventor, W. K. Dickson" - quote from wikipedia. Film footage used in the music video can be found on youtube - '1810, Earliest-Born Person Ever Captured on Film. Pope Leo XIII. (1896)[4k, 60 fps, colorized]'. Tuomas composed 'Lanternlight' during the pandemic, as a tribute to his deceased father Pentti Holopainen (1940-2021), as a celebration of his dad's long and happy life. My interpretation of Troy's vocal entry at the end of the song - 'I walk now toward the trees. The night falling at my feet Into the forest of Yesterwynde' - as either Tuomas' father, or Tuomas himself entering the 'Forest of Yesterwynde'. Troy had previously provided backing vocals in the third verse - "I'm in the light and flood. I'm in the four winds. I'm the waves, shaping pebbles, flawless gems". When Floor sings "I am you who climbed off my back not long ago", my interpretation is that it's Tuomas' acknowledgement of how we all as human beings are the continuation of our forebears for generations to come.
This is a song Tuomas wrote after his father passed away, but i was thinking seeing your beautiful cat Bruno on the photo in the background who passed away a few months ago. This song doesn't have only to go about humans, but also animals we loved and cared for and the memories that we have about them. Absolutely beautiful song
As I said on your last video - this is THE song of 2024 for me. Marko is a great singer, of course. I like Troy's voice and think it suits this type of song, albeit in small doses. I'm not sure I would feel quite the same with Marko doing the same lines. But then I guess we'll never know how that might have turned out.
True. However, Marko sang some soft gentle melodic stuff in Hamburg this year and I was like "oh wow I didn't know he could do it like that too". He was really impressive on stage and so was Tarja.
Floor did the vocals for Yesterwynde 6 weeks after giving birth to her second child when it still hurt to stand up. You can check out Floor's remarks with Elizabeth Zharoff, The Charismatic Voice.
I have tried to imagine what this would sound like live, Floor in full health, full power.. I mean, the track generates tears, live might spoil my enjoyment of other music thereafter. Tuomas and Floor are an incomparable pairing of composition and emotive interpretation:)
Backing up a few seconds is a good idea. It's more for you rather than us. If you pause just before an epic change, it will lose its surprise value to you. Yes, it was Pope Leo XIII (1810-1903). Good catch. Floor recorded her vocals in six days for the entire album in her home studio after giving birth six weeks prior. Wonder Woman! 😄🤘
You need to go back exactly 7 seconds when you pause.🤪 Seriously, I think Nightwish folk get scared by reviewers that don’t rewind for fear of killing continuity. IMO, stopping at a paragraph (sentence -> phrase… paragraph -> ?) does not need rewinding. *Excellent* reaction!
Not only is this masterpiece becoming my favorite Nightwish song it is becoming one of my favorite songs of all time. Floor is the best hands down.

I hope she sings it next year. I have tickets to see her live.
Exactly! Love your description.
I write this on almost every reaction to this song: "This just might be the most beautiful song ever penned by a human being." But it's true.
Well, here in the UK we will probably never hear this song over all the bubblegum that is played endlessly. I wish our only hope, Jools Holland would invite Floor to perform on his show. One can dream!
You hit this one out of the park yet again. Every time I hear this, my tears are of joy.
❤🤘NIGHTWISH. WAS, IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE - NIGHTWISH🤘❤
Just when you thought that Floor's voice had reached all of the places that there are to reach inside you "Lanternlight" comes along 🙏😊👍❤️
Honestly every time “you pause too much” and “you talk too much” or “you wrecked the good bit” and it just gets so annoying.
@themetalmuse I genuinely enjoy your videos, you don't ruin anything.
Lanternlight is breathtakingly gorgeous ❣️
Not able to listen to this with dry eyes, it goes straight to your soul.
Somebody wrote elsewhere, that you are not listening this song, you are feeling it. Floor's voice on the beginning is liquid honey 😊
Backing up a little is perfect! As is this song...
Yay!
@@themetalmuse I would recommending tapping the left cursor arrow...it takes it back 5 seconds...or two taps for 10 seconds, if the mood arises 😄
The left arrow key can also be used and that will rewind it 5 seconds per press.
the voice of emotions, the power of feelings...
Damn Girl you got me crying over here at my job ....Beautiful Reaction
Going back a little bit is a good idea :)
Starting deep and low...
[This sounds like her solo album,
I think Tuomas likes the variety of her singing.
Floor said that she chokes up too easily with this song,
the band rewinds, during the sessions, to let her recover.]
Mmm, the warmth of her voice.
“Last night brought the heaviest of snows”
That sad piano about to sink below the ice.
“Melting the songs of old”
A favourite bench, with a view.
The delicate Piano, the strings
Did you get the Tuomas déjà vu references?
“I am the snow on your palm” [Storytime?]
The way she uses her hands...
“I am the secret stream” [Sagan, Shudder Before The Beautiful, Endlessness?]
“Moss beneath your feet” [My Walden?] Oooh.
“I am you who climbed off of my back” [Our Decades in the Sun?]
“Petrichor” (with a hint of green) [The smell of fresh rain on grass, Last Ride Of The Day, Song of Myself?]
“Timeless” (with a hint of a smile) [Perfume of the Timeless?] Phew.
“To the meadows I go” [Meadows of Heaven?] Her soaring voice again. What? Tissues.
I spotted a bus!
Then Troy drifts in, with his wavering soft voice, right in the middle of your head. "A human voice alongside?"
He made up the word, so his pronunciation, is our guide. :)
Floor receding into the distance.
About (part of) the movie scenes in the background: I recognized pope Leo XIII and wiki is saying:
"Leo XIII, who was born in 1810 and was thus 86 years old in 1896, is considered the earliest-born person ever to be captured on film.
Lovely song, beautiful preformed, and good and honest reaction. Thank you, really hope to see you soon again. ❤
Thank you!
On that island seen in the video, Tuomas spent dear time with his passed father. He is smiling in heaven when hearing this. Tuomas knows what he is doing and wants male voice to speak like his father duet part in the end.
This whole album is amazing. I didn't know what to expect without Marco. I honestly like just Troy and Floor singing in tandem in this album.
🤗🍒🤘🏻😘yeahuuhh Muse, what an amazing song huh 🎶🎼 great job 😘
Tuomas said it was Floor's idea for this to be the third music video, and she has also called it her favorite song on the album. So needless to say, she connects with it very well. It will be amazing when they/she gets around to performing it live. I only wonder if it will make it to her solo shows while Nightwish is still on hiatus.
I have secured myself a ticket for next year, so I am hoping she will sing this.
@@themetalmuse I hope so! It fits perfect into her solo setlist, and I've no doubt it will get there eventually. The only question is if she'll perform it before Nightwish has a chance to perform it.
Every time I listen I can hear new nuances in the way Floor sings every word.
What a stunning song. Tuomas and Floor know how to play with your heartstrings. Love the reaction
Yes they do
Hello Dear Lady, yes indeed Floor Jansen can make anyone weep, but tears of Joy and happiness, A bit of background for you.
She frequently reduces me to tears, I still can't listen to Sleeping Sun without crying, no matter where I am.
Yesterwynde is an incredible album from start to finish. Lanternlight is beautiful and deep. Nice reaction again :D
one of the best songs i ever heard and it was written for Tuomas father who passed away. i love it so much
I’m a fan of going back 5-10 seconds after a stoppage. 👍🏻
One thing I noticed with this song, is that it sounds a lot more like Floors solo music.
Beautiful song, beautiful voice
beautiful reaction thanks for sharing it with us. Wish you happy holidays and greetings from Chicago
Same to you! 🥰
I could listen to Floor just sing ooh's and ahh's like at the end of this song, for hours on end...just the BEST stress relief out in the world. Stress just melts away.
This song is good for the hundreds of people who lost their lives in Spain two weeks ago. 😢😢
I hope you brought tissues!🎸🤘
Incredibly amazing,no other words available❤
Yep, Tuomas knows how to make girls cry. And I mean in a good way:D
6:19 The sweetest saddest smile ever.
And the white dressed clergyman at the end is pope Leo XIII (b.1810, d. 1903). He is the first filmed pope and the firstly born filmed human.
Any time these days that I hear the term, "Mother Earth", I think of Floor...she is the epitome IMO.
This touches my old soul 😊
A lovely time spent with you and Floor!
'Delaying' is fine, good...natural...thanx!
10K coming soon, Lady🤩😍🤗
"PERFECTION"....
Floor = soul snatcher.
This!!!
Nightwish just continues to evolve bringing philosophical and social mores into context via the incredible Nightwish communication tool…their music🤘🤘
Great review once again Dom and backup works for me👍…as I’ve said before you really “get” this band and it continues to show consistently in your reactions..so ramble away😀🤘🤘
Edgijng😮😂😂
Yes keep going back after every pause. And dont be afraid to pause
Tuomas Holopainen wrote this just after his father died, he said this:
"The last song on the album, Lanternlight, might fool you into thinking it's a sad song, but it's actually a love song and ends up on a very positive vibe.
If you have somebody who has lived a very happy and a really long life, it's a moment of celebration and not of grief.
This is the message we want to send."
I understand took them some time to record this as Floor (A high sensitive person) broke down several times, if you look at the video in HD and on a big screen Floor was in tears in the video.
The easy way to go back is the left arrow which gives you exactly 5 secs, right key will do 5 forwards and J key goes back 10 secs.
This song is perfection. I know NW won't be touring for this album, but i hope she will perform this in her solo concerts.
Great reaction ... it's always nice to see how you feel Nightwish music. 🙂
❤❤❤
Divine!! So much beauty in here
Great reaction! Stunning vocal from Floor - so what else is new, right?
As I said on your last video - this is THE song of 2024 for me.
Marko is a great singer, of course. I like Troy's voice and think it suits this type of song, albeit in small doses. I'm not sure I would feel quite the same with Marko doing the same lines. But then I guess we'll never know how that might have turned out.
True. However, Marko sang some soft gentle melodic stuff in Hamburg this year and I was like "oh wow I didn't know he could do it like that too". He was really impressive on stage and so was Tarja.
God, I love your accent! Great reaction
Nice to see how you slowly get into the emotional zone, nice to see, thank you😘
A song written after death and sung after birth. ❤
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
You need to go back exactly 7 seconds when you pause.🤪
Seriously, I think Nightwish folk get scared by reviewers that don’t rewind for fear of killing continuity. IMO, stopping at a paragraph (sentence -> phrase… paragraph -> ?) does not need rewinding.
*Excellent* reaction!
Beautiful reaction and Floor is the only singer who can make me emotional with her voice
Same here!
Hi TMM, please check out Floors Sister Irene Jansen with the song Rise
I cried wirh You 💜
