Brainwavz Audio Oval Angled Memory Foam Earpads Unboxing & Review

I said in my Audio-Technica Solid Bass review that I don't think I would change the stock earpads for fear of changing that great sound signature. Well I finally decided to change them, today we take a look at the Brainwavz Oval Angled Memory Foam Replacement Earpads, which in my opinion, gives the headphones a better look. its weird, mine the stitch can't be on the bottom for both pad. for me, the stitch should be on the bottom for the left, and on the top for the right. if both of it on the bottom, it will be uneven because the angled nature of it. I guess I got all left, or all right, and I have to put it that way.

Mine has some kind of strong chemical smell on it, how was your?

How did you get your pads? I ordered mine back in May and my order isn't unfulfilled yet.

They're apparently not shipping right now due to "global problem". I just ordered mine from Amazon instead. A bit more expensive but whatever.

I think Brainwavz changed their angled pads a bit. They used to be much thicker and comfortable than the newer versions. It feels like their suppliers are cutting corners, sadly.

@@rakebluewallgaming6185 Good question. I've been meaning to ask them about this. Maybe I'll email them sometime soon. Feel free to do so as well. They're usually very responsive.

@@rakebluewallgaming6185 So I followed up with them finally, and their response was that they have a "new manufacturing process, etc etc", which basically tells me that it's not possible to get the old pads, at least not from them. Maybe you'll get lucky and find someone with an unused pair somewhere, but honestly the old ones started flaking after about a year, and I didn't even use them that much.
