Probably doesn't change the recommendation, but important note. The 100-cost banners with Helena on them today changes every day, so it is a different 100 cost unit each day.
Indeed it does. And I've already seen horror stories of people spending 30k and NOT getting Helena! Please don't spend on these banners guys! Thanks for pointing that out Edward!
Thanks for the video, Good info. i have a wind spear +4 from the last run if the event and was thinking of focusing on Ribbon this time ( even though it would get a rerun sometime soon, Should i try to get that wind spear to +5 and what ever is left over to get the Ribbon recipes? Just trying to figure out what would be the best course of action. Noted: if it matters, I do not have Kain, don't plan on pulling for him or any other FFIV unit. Don't have Demonwall either. Any advise i am grateful for.
Yes, get Wind Spear to +5 first. A Ribbon can be useful at +2 (just 7 recipes). I personally use the Wind Spear on all spear units that aren't Ice or Earth.
I would argue ribbon over wind spear. Ribbon is more flexible. however, Ribbon is likely to get rerun again before wind spear since it isnt tied to FFIV.
Its kind of bad that the 100 cost target banner wasn't clear that the target unit changed daily and all of the content creators that i watched missed that
You think 120k vis (plus the next 3 months) is enough to get Cetia, all 3 ff6 units, Violet, Alstoria, and their respective vision cards? Because I'm thinking that at best, its a stretch. And god help me if they drop a good unit next Global Fest
I would plan roughly 30k per unit (pity two, and get "lucky" on two) then about 15k for vision cards. Setia and Alstoria are cost 100 and half drop rate also (most people had to go to pity for Jeume). Still, I think you're looking at about 200k for that kind of haul!
Cetia probably will be pity that's 50k right there not even counting to max out realistically 120k Vis will probably only get u 3 or 4 if lucky might even get all if your super lucky but you won't be able to max them all to Lv120
I may be crazy but not crazy enough to drop 40k vis for Freizess pity. I was hoping they'd drop that absurd rate after seeing a bit more reasonable one for the vision cards of the Global Exclusive units.
Personally I got the 50 MR shard ticket for 1000 vis. I saw a guide to solo the selection quests with shadowlynx, and I thought it would be a great idea to max her out, then farm the heck out of them (100 prisms a month can help, a lot). Plus a good MR will be very useful for those cost limited guild battles. Again this game totally confuses me. Why is the paid content so bad. Like the 100 cost ur 3 step is 6000 viscore, and 3000 paid is nearly $2000 with the most expensive packs. Other gacha games are much more generous (and that's how they ensnare you). I just don't get why wotv is doing this so badly.
basically im a light spender or more depends if a limited ff banner or collab... i tried to be f2p but you aint going nowhere if you dont spend after few weeks to months of playing.. its too hard to save free visiore barely 2k or less a week only
If you're talking about F2P. I think you should always consider how useful the unit on PVE content rather than talking about meta(PVP) cuz most F2P only play PVP enough to reach 5000+ ranking for 500 vis. nothing more.
This is a very interesting sentiment regarding this game as you touched on something very important: PVP is the fomo driver for this game. Reassessing for PVE is really hard to even start to discuss because many people will eventually get most of the standard unit pool (if they play long enough) to make their 5 man teams. Gear is another story haha. I am a lot like you, I would love for content creators to talk up pve more, but upon reflection, I think it would be a very short conversation.
i think shes so good is cause of faith being tied to magic damage and she acts and plays like a evade physical damage dealer, so she hits even harder then say someone like cloud.
I like the movie/tv reviews you’ve been doing. Forget the name, but that last one was pretty good.
Like that bit of glitchhop in the background. :o
Niv'Lu still has Quicken. It's a good addition on any team that needs dispel and quicken shenanigan.

Nop.. being realistic they will get you 3 maybe 4 units (always think youll have to go to pity).

Rodgers fan? mahman!
Rodgers has always been one of my favorite players even though I'm a Broncos fan. If he becomes a Bronco... 😍😍😍

The value is all over the place. True. There ARE good values, you just have to pick and choose your places, especially for F2P!

You should watch our tier list then! What unit(s) are you referring to specifically? Niv'Lu?
