Awesome Video. Status Resistances are great for Manual CM tho. Charm, Disable and Stop are a headache to deal with. Sadali will have Charm in his LB so, and Resnick uses charm fron thief quite often in auto.

What an awesome video. Tend to agree on your opinion on ap set. I find the ap passive on trust stone is enough with an acquired ap vision card. The other bonus set is just better for the set like luck or accuracy or agility.

It does, yes. In fact, slow casters (Yuna, Helena, etc.) it is best on, as well as Dragoons like Viktora, Oberon, and Aranea. If you use these units in your top PvP team, it's worth keeping one and trying it out!

I would put Aim same as A tier due to flexibility purposes. It can be used by both Phys and Mag Units. Unfortunately, gone are the days where you would purely rely on Guaranteed Hit skills to hit pure evasion teams. And when you realize just how much resources fully maxing out a 6-set trust stone or even just the 3-pc set, making a trust-stone build usable by multiple characters is invaluable.
What's wrong with Az? I think Accuracy is more valuable than you say here, but I can't argue with your all / nothing statement, so i just tend to stack a lot of it and hope for the best. Reaction Reduction though is my Queen. It's on every TMR i will build. Too many bad Reflex / Aeon Bond chains, gave me PTSD
Oh boy, you aren't wrong! Those timely reflexes can be frustrating! I've been running Alex Ring with Accuracy set on Esther and she STILL misses evasion units regularly. You really have to commit to accuracy now to hit the most evasive units, and guaranteed hits are much more reliable (and open up slots for other bonuses). Thanks for watching!
I’m currently min maxing trust stones for Lara Croft and her 2 sets are Luck and ATK and I’ve gotten good passives for her like 7% Luck, 10% HP, 7 Evasion, 7 Missile ATK up, 7 Missile Penetration Up, etc. basically I got all of the stats that she wants and it’s on her TMR.
That is nice information just a small question because i quit WOTV when early and now just resume not long. The question is why my illusionary bell can only settable for MR truststone? Is there any requirement to equipment UR that i didn't notice? Kindly needs your guide
Not to be a debbie downer, but AP is one of the most important rune sets to have when running water. Units like Astrius, Glaciela, Winter Viktora (when her MA2 appears), Tidus, Moore and Lara heavily value the discounted AP on top of the initial AP bump. Considering that some units have very significant buffs and will not have time to drop bells consistently, running a set of red AP runes + the 20% Acquired AP up can seriously help when running comps like that. Then there's also the raids, which definitely value these alot. I personally say that AP runes are a high D, low C tier. F is wayyy too harsh imo
In my experience, the Acquired AP Up passive + vision card bonuses has been more than enough AP for Astrius and Tidus in a water comp and Ester/Charlotte in Lightning (80-100 AP, at least on the current Arena/Guild maps). Though maybe I'll have to pick RPW's brain on that one? Thanks for the comment!

The idea is to have your units that don't need extra attack stat, but have a few good buffs you want them to run (not bells), so you give them AP set and units like Charlotte and Cloud who never needed bells will now have a surplus of AP as soon as the enemy is in range. This also works if the enemy happens to rush you and forces an attack, then you start with and generate far more AP without needing to buff. hope this helps
Units that need to set off important buffs and don't have time to bells is a great way to have them in the 80+ AP range while being able to get off 3-4 skills with the Ap Passive. For example I run Astrius with Lightning Katana that holds a AP passive. Astrius kicks off with his Courage buff is a priority and let's him run with almost 100AP. The TMR itself is okay, but with the right TS passives it becomes a monster.
Love the intro. Defense stones 100% agree. Offensive I agree...in a perfect world with outstanding AI. WOTV is not that game. There are some units(Astrius) that have poor AI on small/medium maps and you need the AP trust set. Also on evade units(Elena) evade is 100% must have.
Trusts stones are convoluted trash to an already grind heavy gear system. It convinced me to convert my account to full F2P and non-competitive. Aside from my gripes, your videos about the game are the easiest to understand and hilarious 😆
Ok, so I seriously cannot find a definitive answer for what "Reaction Block Rate +20" does on your TS exactly. I've seen some people say that it decreases the chance for the opponent that you're attacking to have their Counter Ability Proc I've also seen some people say that it increases the chance that the Counter Ability of your Unit will proc when they're being attacked by an enemy. Since GUMI is incapable of doing something as simple as, you know....providing definitive data and information about the game that's currently Live at the moment, does anyone know exactly?
About the only 3 status effects that you would want to block in pvp are stop disable and frostbite imo. Remember agrias is coming for that booty and cid might force his way in as well
It's still pretty specific to one (maybe two) units. Over the course of time, we may have enough stones to be much more specific with them, but I still think planning more for general use is probably best for 99% of players right now. And I say this as someone who just lost to Duane landing Disable on my Esther in Guild Battles 😅 Thanks for watching!
@@NerdNight from what I've seen a lot of creators have done a 5 generally good passives and what ever status effect they hate the most. Disable might be the only good one that's common across pvp and pve that you can't gear against naturally
Oh man, i got a reactivation rate -20 and i met a Cloud, he showed me a new world, dodging like a mongoose, 3 times reflex in that match. I went wotv.calc to see his reflex chance =15%. Now im in the trauma of depression. It was like i gave him 20% more chance to dodge and -20% of my whole accuracy. Thats a true story of mine... Could you explain me why?
Oh, i guess I talk about it but didn't put it on the list! CAN be useful for sure, especially with a lot of AGI debuffs in the game (Elena's most notably). A lot of PvE challenges debuff AGI now too. I'd say it's right there with other stat debuff resistances.
There's a lot I respectfully disagree with here. But above all, I can't believe that you do manual Class Match... but find ALL Status Resistance passives useless? I never do manual CM, and even then I do run some of the more important Status Resistances.
Personally, I haven't done manual Class Match since the second "season". I really only do auto now. For manual class match, the playbook is quite different (Charm and Disable resist, in particular). I think 95%+ players don't do manual class match, so my "general" advice like tier lists won't apply nearly as much ;)
@@NerdNight Elena locke and others have 25%-30% dex in their dmg modifier. Dex set + dex passive is 50% dex bonus might be a better choice then acc set tho

What do you mean? Ability merge simply allows you to put 2 passives on the same stone.

We got it today. Bumps it up slightly, but still MOSTLY useful for ranged units (or units that use range sub-job, like Cloud or Astrius).
