Sorry about the bad luck but love your planned approach with the pity medals and planning out the next month worth of units and Viz. Im in a similar boat with medals for esther or finishing limited cards as well and planning for Astoria. juggling resources really is the name of this game haha
For what it’s worth, every time I watch a pull video I’m rooting for you. When things go badly I find myself repeating “Just give it to him!” Nothing is worse than a bad pull session.
The Terra summons killed me, but Celes showed up in the early step up so I was happy about that! 3 rainbows and not the featured character. That’s rough 😥
Oh man, so sorry to see that painful summons. My plan is still the same, pull few for Joker, then go for Astrius. I have all the global fest units from their very first banner each got all them from their step ups. The only exception is Fryevia which i dont have but the rest are maxed 120, rng just merciful. Only time (and first time) to pity was Elena but it was worth it. I've used her up so much in many guild battles, arenas, CMs. Still crossing my fingers that my step up luck is still there until Astrius.

If makes you feel any better , I got Esther on day 2 free tickets… But I already went hard to pull for her so got her on 34k visiore. 190/200 medals for pity ticket decided to just go for shards instead of chasing for the other global ex’s that I don’t have.
I was also around 55-66% medals needed to pity Ibara, decided not to because I would have to spend more for her VC. Gotta keep my vis stash for Joker and Astrias 😂😂.
I wound up just grabbing the shards, i didnt want to commit to slow building ibara, and the extra 10k on the VC woulda hurt (sitting at about 25k currently), hoping to be able to drop 30k on alstoria (or w/e his name is) and grab any of the Crystal warriors since i only have Jeume.
In my case, I had to pity Esther but in the process I got Ibara’s VC. I was debating myself if I should build that VC too because of the AoE resist it gives BUT TODAY, on the tickets the gave in the login bonus, I got Ibara and I had enough to take her to 99 so gumi decided for me…. Now I have to slow build Esther and Ibara’s EX and keep saving for Astoria…. What a month tbh!! The end of the limited rush….

Couldn't agree more on how good this global banner is, as light spender I wasn't even planning to pull for Esther. But then I see esther VC, 9 step esther, elena VC pull all of them give the pity medal. So after some thought I was like hmm i'll just 9 step esther + VC. If I got esther I improve my lightning comp and build her, if I don't get her at least I got the VC which is really great and I pull elena VC and 1 more pull to get Elena. I got unlucky with the pulls but at least I got elena + 2 good VC and some blossoms, this feels much better than old pulls. If Gumi doing more banner like this I think I will spend more coz I know that I can still get something even if I'm unlucky.
The 2nd anniversary GLEX banners were the similarly amazing but it had no new units and I really didn't expect the new GLEX to be nearly as good and better in ways so this is a great sign going forward. Alstoria is still going to be a great banner to pull on for anyone needing multiple crystal warriors but I doubt it will let you select any of the older units and make it as great as the GLEX banner but if you can get any 2 crystal warriors from a 42k pity gumi will open the wallets of a lot of players.
Plan for bad luck is right. I've had to go to pity on the last 5 of 6 units I've pulled for. I got lucky and pulled Celes while pitying for Terra but the last unit I chased that I didn't pity was King Mont. I'm pretty sure he spent all my luck too because I remeber we got a free pull a day to celebrate his release and I got him on the first one.
I have around 55k vis and I'm trying to brew up a magical plan to get Esther Celes and Ibara with it. But reality will probably be me pitying Esther and using VISA chan to get Celes before the collab ends, and then just hoping the P5 collab doesnt happen for a while.

I decided to pass on using pity in favor of 100 Esther shards and 60 vc shards. That way I can maximize what I have going into Alstoria. Unfortunately, joker will have to be a pass. They are really throwing too much too quickly.
Agree. Pull system is very nice 😊 My Terra pull was like this too. 6-steps, 6 rainbow units but no FF6 💩 This was after getting Omen VC on 1st step Considering Celes...
The better medals seems to be offset by the sheer amount of players that had to pity her or a few pulls from. Pick 6 and limited gb is all light teams. Wotv players are so happy with another lightning unit that does almost nothing vs light and severely counters an element that has never been meta. I have never played a game like this or seen a playerbase like this in my life.
First 100 cost unit that we've been able to pity this way and the banners are amazing and there are lots of counters to the light meta currently with wind and water and fire and earth and ice teams. GB is already ruined by elemental advantages regardless of the meta. Pick 6 is still Elena and Elena counters but there are more then enough viable counters that It's fun and diverse. The new unit is fun and Light has already been countered and preventing the next oppressive meta from happening is going to be great for the game.

Got celes at 50% main banner pull and used the global summons medal to get cloud at lvl 99. I may sky ester as visiore is kinda low at 2k only :-(
She's worth the pity. Plus you got shards for Oberon and quite a few star thingies for her shards. This could have been way worse imo.
Im sitting at 53k and want arstoria, lightning agi vc, and sadali + his vc. It looking like an uphill battle lol
