dansg08 do you happen to have done kingdom Hearts? it's not final Fantasy but it is somewhat related. if not it's all good just wondering. great work on this video btw, truely bringing back the old times for me
I have a question. Does anybody ever feel truly connected to the story and characters of ffx. Like i spend a lot of time thinking about how the story and dialogue affects them, how they change, the people they become. It means something to me. Like sometimes i feel like this is an escape from the real world. I have played final fantasy x so many times. I just love it. I feel like I just believe in it. You know, it just connected to my spirituality. I have heard people comment about how spiritual they felt playing this game and connecting to them. Yuna defying yunalesca, auron leaving the world like a totally legendary alpha male badass. Everybody going against the worldwide yevon religion, to fight for spira. To overcome. And to hear Tidus describe all the things he learned and how he grew throughout the game. Its epic. It sometimes truly feels like the greatest story ever told
Nova200 I get you! I feel exactly the same way about this game. I think this game really helps me in a way to relate to others. Definitely in my top games of all time 💯%
An enchanting and poignant game. We, like Tidus, arrive in this magical land. Visit its wonders, meet its people and learn about their culture. How they live, grow, celebrate their time together and ultimately die - with that last one making them appreciate life all the more. We fall in love with Spira a little bit. Only to discover, as the game goes on, that in order to save it...and especially Yuna...and give them the full lives that will be snatched so cruelly away...we have to let it all go. Let it all slip away forever. Not dying like they do, but fading away, like waking from a dream. And so we do. For them. For her. We can go back and see Final Fantasy X again. We can visit Spira again. But we can never stay.
Perfect . Only in Final Fantasy X and VII , I have the feeling that I am blending in the world (The Planet and Spira) these characters were. VIII and IX, while great games, I don't feel any deep connection with the world
@@Walamonga1313 If you've seen some of Soviet's videos, he has FFX To Zanarkand's track in some of his videos. That's how I knew he played FFX. The most iconic theme song that every FFX player knows. It's the first intro song you hear and it's the near end game goal you wish to reach just to hear it again.
watching this just makes me happy and relaxed. maybe because it brings me back to my childhood, playing this game till 4am no worries in the world. beautiful game
Some scenes I never really realized as a kid how emotionally powerful they were. The older I get the more I love scenes like the kiss in Macalania or when Tidus learns Jecht is Sin. I will never get tired of this beautiful tragic story.
That's a fine idea! Episode 1; 00:00:00 - 1:01:47 "We called it Sin" Episode 2; 1:01:48 - 2:10:43 "Kilika" Episode 3; 2:10:44 - 3:03:36 "The Guardian" Episode 4; 3:03:37 - 4:01:36 "Operation Mi'hen" Episode 5; 4:01:37 - 5:02:44 "Reunion" Episode 6; 5:02:45 - 6:01:39 "To Macalania" Episode 7; 6:01:40 - 7:05:28 "Home" Episode 8; 7:05:29 - 7:44:18 "Trial of Bevelle" Episode 9; 7:44:19 - 8:10:25 "The Calm Lands" Episode 10; 8:10:26 - 9:03:00 "Listen to my story" Episode 11; 9:03:01 - 10:24:17 "Now is the time to choose!" Episode 12; 10:24:18 - 11:16:55 "Our last chance" Cut-offs and starting points subject to change at your own discretion, but I think these work out quite nicely. Had to cut the Bevelle/Calm lands stuff in half, but I think it was worth it. Also I wanted an even number.
I played this game in 2003 in 1 week straight and nearly 20 years later it still have a very special place in my heart . It is so weird because it is just a video games but really, I really feel like I was in Spira during that time and travel with Yuna group to defeat Sin together . The story was that good
Blah blah blah The game was amazing, yadda yadda, all true all true but, daaaammmmnnnnnn that was some FANTASTIC editing. Your work to weave this together into a "movie" was absolutely out standing. You should be very proud of yourself. I don't think a lot of people fully grasp the amount of work that must have took. Hot damn. I see you have a patreon, and I have never wanted get in on one so bad. Time to make that happen... just amazing work.
@@moisemensah8233 I guess anime made from existing manga is pointless. Same for the Harry Potter movies. Lord of the Rings movies and series as well. There's also no point to the House of The Dragon series.
For a game that was made all the way back in 2001, it really was a spectacle. After playing XV, I can only wish they bring back this type of FF. Not the action filled bullcrap, I want something more personal. Character development, story, lore, soundtrack, etc. :c
Hana Lalala I know it gets a lotta hate due to simplicity but honestly, the pocket edition was what made me like any FF installment. I mean, FF 1-5 have the characters chibitized and are praised just as much as the ones with more realistic styles. It seems appropriate to use that style as an option for this game too, since I really cannot take the characters seriously in some of the outfits they wear unless they are chibis (especially Tidus and Wakka, i must say).
ffxv didnt have story? ill admit they couldve developed luna more, but she was already a strong character and we knew what she was like before she died. but the story was so deep and confusing yet meaningful, the soundtrack had me in tears (most of it was sad, i know, but so was the story, and theres still diversity in the music).
+Beowulf I read this comment before getting to that part, and it was a lot funnier than I imagined, LOL. I can't believe I missed this part when playing the game.
7 is great, 9 is great, 6 is great, even 13 trilogy and 15 are great. But ff10 will always be the best for me. Tidus is the best storyteller in the franchise.
@@mrskye08yes!! I'm so glad there's someone who isn't meat riding FFVII. Its a great game yes but I don't get the hype. Its not perfect to me. FFX hits closer to me
Rewatching FFX today after so many years - but something that has always stuck with me about the game is how compelling of a character Lulu is and how unusual she was for a video game character of the time. Confident, mature, self-assured, intelligent, cynical and certainly no bubbly Japanese RPG ingenue - she’s always been my favorite character.
It's just so incredible how when you finish the game and then relive the narrative from the beginning, they just tell you SO much. Auron raising his drink to the Sin wave as it approaches Zanarkand, Him talking directly to Sin, The way they juxtapose images of Jecht and his symbol with Sin. Tidus when he gets sucked into Sin and wakes up floating in the ruins, the first think he sees is Jecht's symbol and he literally says "my old man?" He is referencing the symbol, but they tell you right there that sin is jecht. It's just so beautiful the way the game keeps you in mystery, but there's so many clues.
Auron is seriously so cool, after all these years he is still my favorite Final Fantasy character ever! watching this was like reliving my childhood! Thanks man!
I like Auron because he is multidimensional and has numerous purposes for his own existence. He performed the role of Yuna’s Guardian and watched over Tidus, both in a genuine “Uncle” way. He also kept back his own ulterior motives for later in the story. As well as watching over Braska and Jecht’s children to keep his promise to them, he wanted to complete his personal revenge and kill Yunalesca for taking the lives of his old friends. He also wanted to be a part of ending the tradition of the deadly and futile Pilgrimages once and for all. Auron’s spirit simply had to remain unsent for the ten years after his material death: he had too much left to do.
It's been 17 Years since I have witnessed this ending and I still cried! 😭 Thank you for the nostalgia this is the best game ever created ! They don't make them like they use to !
@@Nicolenice98 yep, back then I don't understand thr story, now replaying the game make me wonder how deep the story is. Sad new final fantasy have shallow story from ffxii
Replaying it again, I know I can skip through and watch the ending I already played through when I was little in this video…. But playing it again… it’s slowly coming back in my memory bank and it feels great. Crazy to think that the cutscene graphics could probably be done for the entire game now… and it can really be smoothed out. It’ll definitely be a huge file though lol
Funny thing is, Jecht is right. I'm always crying at that scene, without fail. I've replayed FFX countless times, that scene (and many others) will never fail to make me cry, just like Jecht says.
"A fallen summoner, a man from Zanarkand, and a warrior monk, doomed to obscurity for refusing the hand of the priest's daughter. What delightful irony if we could defeat sin." Man, now I really need this FFX Prequel game.
5:20 I was in a coffee shop, running away from home when I heard the news. Our hero Jecht, gone. Vanished into thin air! My dad must have been his biggest fan, I knew how sad he'd be. Heck. we all were that day. "Zanar," I says to myself. "What are you thinking?" I went to running straight back home. We sat up talking 'bout Jeckt all night. My dad and I never talked so much.. Whoa...Didn't mean to reminisce, folks, Anyway, ten years later, The Jeckt Memorial Cup tournament is today! The two teams that have won through to the finals are...of course, the Abes from A-East, and the Duggles from C-South, I know there's a lot of people out there today to see the star of the Abes! In just one year, he's become the team's number one player! He's Jeckt blood, and the new hope of blitzball! What kind of super play will he show us today? We will see his father's legendary shot? I don't think I'm the only one excited here, folks! This comentary was too good to be be cut in half.
I want a full remake in about ten years. VII is getting its (deserved) shot for being so far ahead of its time, X should get the same treatment for the same reason.
@@DIRTYDAMNDAVE - Yeah, and in about five to ten years the PS2 will be dated enough to warrant a full remake. Not entirely sure what you were getting at?
The story of Spira is probably the best FF ever. An entire world of people trapped by a perpetual lie. Endless sorrow, religious lies, ancient myths and legends. I think more games based in this world would be awesome. Obviously everyone wants Jecht and Braska's story. But I say even further back would be amazing.
I've always wondered if every summoner that beat Sin had a dream form Zanarkand as a Guardian. Jecht became Sin and i imagine Tidus would have as well if the story had ended the same way it did for all summoners before Yuna
I completed everything in this game, 3 times. That's how much I liked it. I spent so many hours just playing Blitzball I began to wish there can be a Blitzball game irl. There was a point in the game that I just stopped all progress so I can dominate the Blitzball tournament and build the best Blitzball team ever. The mini games in this game is what made this game for me. Chocobo races, cactuar hunt, cloister of trials, lightning dodge, and butterfly hunt. This game taught me patience like no other game has. I live in a country where power goes down now and then, so it's usual to lose hours and hours of progress if you were unable to save and power went down. Imagine the power going out just as you have won the chocobo race to get the Sun sigil. And I did that 3 times! Because of FFX, i never rage quit anymore. I've been pretty much over it since the nth time I lost progress because of power outages.
did you guys compete the monster arena challenges and get legendary weapons that break the attack limiter? and did you fight the hardest boss in Final Fantasy history aka penance? because that's where the limiter breaking weapons and stats came in handy!
Thanks dude for giving me another chance to visit my childhood again. I remember playing this by myself all night and day trying to collect the final weapon for everyone because this game was honestly all I had. My mom was hella overprotective so I couldn't visit friends or play any games they would tell me about so I fell in love with rpgs as it gave me a way to experience what it felt like to feel free and explore the world around me. Being poor too sucked so I never got to have the game only got to rent it from blockbuster but those were the best few days of my life man fr
Yeah I had my friend give me a ride to the next town over so I could rent it, got it, then got dropped off at home and my mom was so mad. I already hid the game in my pants so she didn't freak out over it. She was super strict and we were poor too. Sucked man but that month I had the time of my life living inside a different world and was worth getting grounded getting and returning the game lol
oh this bliztball, the first time i played it on the ffx, i spent 3 hours to learn how to play this game, then i learned, and start to paly a lot this bliztball, i was 30h of blizt, i got everything in this game.
Me and my wife watched the whole 11hrs of this video. Truly nostalgic. Love the characters, plot, storyline, beautiful sceneries and especially the music! Thanks for uploading this masterpiece. I can't even imagine how long it took you to edit everything and especially rendering the whole 11hr video.
Thanks so much, honestly this means a lot to me and I'm sure it does to a lot of other people too. I love the story of the game, honestly the gameplay was great but the soundtrack and story made this the most memorable game I've ever played. I don't think I would have the same love and appreciation for writing as I do now if it weren't for this game. I've wanted to share that experience with my girlfriend for ages but since I no longer have a console or a copy of the game (I can run it on an emulator on my PC but it's not really the same, and it's less immersive for both of us if I'm having to play) I didn't think I would be able to. Thanks again for making this.
+Josh A Agreed I love FFX myself for the same reasons, definitely one of my favorite FF games and also was one of my first ones I ever played in the series.
I feel the same way. I have played this game maybe 10 times. Nothing can replace it. And I feel the same way. I loved the game play. But when I think of destiny, the meaning of life, and where I belong, sometimes i wish it could be in this world. The final fantasy x world. The beautiful tropical world. Ita just so beautiful. Especially when I'm stressed and dont want to deal with real life. I just feel connected to final fantasy x. Like its an escape from earth
Yup thats literally something i wanna do...show a girl i really care about this and binge watch it together..if she loves it like i do then ill know shes worth anything... couple cons keep giving me cold feet 1: Genuinely will ruin the relationship if she doesnt find it interesting or doesnt enjoy it(this storys all about what people will do for those they love, to honour them, to protect them, to cherish them, to support them in dark times, to bring the Calm to their lives whenever possible, to put them first and stay with them...always...a partner of mine seeing this story as "ok" would have me feeling that Donna needs a new Barthello)2: Spoiling stuff..dude when Yuna dropped that "ill come running" line in Luca i fell apart, aint seen this in years but THAT...that brought up all the old heartache of that 11 year old boy all over again...the girlfriend is sure to pick up on that and boom, now i gotta try misdirect 20 questions about "why did that make you cry like a bitch and hug me like you were trying to crush my ribcage?"....3: A woman, who i would care about enough that i want to both share this with and see if she is potentially the Yuna to my Tidus, would have to endure ELEVEN HOURS of watching me cry like a little girl....NOT a good look lol.....all i wanna know is as a person who has recently done it, just tell me...when you and the love of your life binge watch it together, and go through the emotional ups and downs, in those moments when your all cuddled up watching them go through it for the first time, being genuinely moved....is it worth it?( sorry bout the gay ass speech...sad thing is i really wanna know😌)
Only ever got to play this game one time all the way through and just started watching this and all the feeling and memories of that moment came into my mind and made me tear up. Surprised the hell out of me lol I didn't think I remembered anything about it until just now seeing that opening scene.
This is definitely one of the most enchanting and immersive experiences of my life. This story kept me interested for many many months., and earned a special place in my heart.
Something hit me while watching Sin comes back to retrieve its spawn and Jecht is Tidus's father so technically he is Sin's spawn and wherever Tidus goes Sin just happens to show up
Sin (Jecht) is always there to take Tidus where he should be for the plan. He takes him to Spira, when you're with the Albhed he takes you to Besaid (Yuna), he shows what Sin is about and needs to be put down, he is there below Macalania to take them to Bikanel/Sanubia where Seymour is attacking the Albhed and trying to capture Yuna, and he goes to see you at Zanarkand when you kill Yunalesca. Didn't you realize?
Its been nearly 18 years....and after all this time....Yuna...i still havent forgotton...my god this game still kicks the crap outta my feels..crying over a game...shits almost as embarrasing as drunkinly attacking a shoopuff.
You know when it comes to final fantasy I've always just been satisfied with watching someone play it or the "movies" like I've never felt the need to go buy it and play it myself but I love sitting back and just watching FF
I remember as a kid finishing FFIX and seeing a single small promotional image of FFX in a magazine. Its release date was 2 years away and I couldn’t imagine waiting that much time. Little did I know it would become my favourite game. Now over 20 years have passed since then. It’s surreal thinking back about it. I’m so lucky to have lived at a time to experience this story. It’s truly a masterpiece.
I do not regret watching every minute of this. Took me 3 days. Whether I'm playing or watching, the ending gets me choked up every single time. Makes me want to play it again. That story is perfect.
"...or the dreams that have faded..." I always loved the double meaning of that line. This game/story is so amazing, it's such an emotional ride. I love the integration of something so detailed as a character whistling to express emotion. And the composition of music is also something that has to be praised... one of the few games out there where I can hum multiple scores right off the top of my head. Thank you, sir, for creating this epic video. I have had the pleasure in watching all 11 hours, 16 minutes, and 55 seconds :) I'm glad that this is available for those who have not shared in the experience in playing this game. Kudos.
I was so addicted to this game when it came out. I got it for my 13th birthday and after that I literally ran home from school every day just to play it and because I also had the strategy guide, I was able to complete it completly. The fight with the Penance took around an hour but I will never forget that moment of happiness and emptiness at the same time when it was over.
When i was a kid playing this i always imagined that if games where so awsome right now,how incredible they would be in the future, man am i disapointed
i have played so many games in my 30 years and this was just something else. i still think about this game 16 years later. it's one of the few games i actually finished and rewatching this puts me right back into it. all the feelings haha. it's just great
@@enrique4036 Yes, they were so advanced for their time! I remember, in X-2, I would spend so much time in the Luca stadium to watch cinematics because they were just astonishing.
The reason this story is the greatest of all, is the characters of Titus and Yuna, and the way the artist was able to capture the tenderness, vulnerability and true love reflected in their faces for us to see against all odds
The amount of effort it takes to play out, record, edit, and compile this in a way that keeps the pacing consistent for the viewer is nothing short of impressive. Thank you for this, it is truly appreciated ❤
I can say it took me 3 days but, these 11 hours of movie... I've been enjoying them like it was my first time playing this game, I literally grew up with this game, has been my first video game at the age of 6 and I've been playing it over and over from A to Z every couple years, I also have a tattoo on my chest with a personal date and the line "Listen to my story" partially dedicated to this title. I know I'll never feel what I felt with these characters ever, the story is the most beautiful I could ever find anywhere. Thanks Squaresoft for this masterpiece and thanks to the global community that will never let this title be forgotten.
4:49:22 Here starts one of the most epic dialogue in the history of videogames. i love this part and how Seymour and Auron reply each other. They are really intelligent. I remember the first time i saw this cutscene my dad was watching and was shocked, he said : "Wow i have no words... i thought that games were only stupid... but this... it's very very intelligent." Also for 3:29:35
Anybody else who cried multiple times watching/listening through this? Reminiscing old memories and wishing you were still 14 years old. Feeling how deep a mark these characters stories have made in your heart. Wishing you could forget everything only to experience it all anew.
Brilliantly put together! I can't believe how great it all flows, thank you so much for taking the time to create this so we can all relive such a wonderful story.
x and x-2 was my wife life for a long time, she actually 100% completed both! All the skills trees Won every game of blitz ball got ever rare player of blitz ball, Got ever Celestial Weapons/ legendary wep for each hero. got and maxed every Aeon( psudo Aeon for x-2) Found, collected and maxed out EVERY Dress sphere, every hidden area. Finially unlocked claimed and completed the 100 levels of hell Claiming the Iron Duke and some amazing lore
Leaving your playlists on as I sleep is blissful. Your format is perfection. They have replaced documentaries for good. FFX is a prime exemplar of human achievement in art.

This is one of those rare beautiful artistic gems of gaming IMO. Fantastic storyline, characters, soundtrack, tons of optional content, beautiful artwork and variety in regions. If not for the lip syncing and spotty voice acting in spots this game would be perfect. This game is gonna be on ps4 soon as well so the younger generations can experience the masterpiece. :)
i don't think so, because, many generations, still will play this game for ps3, there no necessity, to make this game for ps4, many people can't have a ps3 yet, why ps4? I'm waiting for the remaster in ffxii, i don't know if they will.
rodrigo dos santos Many people didn't own a ps3. They said if FFX HD sold well they would consider FF12 HD but it's square so don't hold your breath. I love FF12 but I don't think it has near the popularity of FF7 or FF10.
ihatevoyager well FF7, i've never played, but FFX, it's a fantastic game, but in my opinion, the best FF that i have played, was ffxii, overcome any other ffxii. and forgive my english, i don't if it say like that in this case, like something better i mean.
I love how not only you get to see all the cutscenes, but you get a little bit of the battles and gameplay as well. Thank you for putting this together.
This is byfar the best cutscene movie i have ever watched, since im poor enough to buy my own playstation to play this is am glad that you have downloaded the gameplay for us unfortunate to watch and enjoy , thank youvery much! much love from the Philippines :)
It is worth the experience, it does cost, but the highest cost is the time you have to pay! haha. I played it as a child and even though I'm not poor, I'm poor on time XD Being an adult makes it harder to take time to play, and I only have the memories of how much I played, and it was a lot, haha.
***** I played six, and barely remember it, however, I feel touched when I see things related to it, haha. Terra's Theme makes the hair of my neck stand still! About 7, I know it's the best, but I've never played it, and I didn't know almost anything at all about it before this year. Now I remember my friends most likely played it, and I want to play it for the first time when it comes out as a remastered version on my bros PS4.
I enjoy just listening to this while I'm working or drawing. I can imagine all of the visuals in my head. And when the story finishes, I hit that repeat button and relive the emotional journey all over again.
If there is another sequel made for FF-X, it has to be about how Auron, Braska, and Jecht defeated sin ten years ago in the past from this timeline. I don't care what the hell happens after X-2, who the hell cares if Tidus and Yuna make a baby, I want to know how all of this began!
I'd like to see a prequel too but how about 3000 years before X? Back when all the cities were machina. Surely Square can come up with an interesting story for when it all started
+thearchitect27 Tidus doesn't go back into the past... Watch my "Timeline Of Spira" video to understand what's going on there, it's a common misconception.
dansg08 He goes into the future man, I know, I've played this game religiously and I know how the timeline works. It's almost as if their world gets more primitive with the passage of time, due to the invasion from Sin.
3-0 Against the Luca Goers?! You a legend. I really love how you cut your clips, you dont skip the battles but you cut it so only the important parts of the battles show.
If anyone is questioning whether or not to watch this entire video in one, trust me it is very much worth your time. Cherish every second of this game because it is in my opinion the best game on the face of this Earth. Thank you dansg08 i love you forever for this. Although I have already beaten the game I love to watch someone else play it. This is most definitely worth every second.
Honestly, if this story would have been a book I think it would be counted as one of the best stories ever, but somehow, it being a video game it doesn't get the respect it deserves. It's just so superbly written from the very start. Every character has their place, the entire world feels alive, there is a drive and motive to every action and it just resonates so well with me. They created a world, invented a religion and gave birth to characters that have stuck with me for 20 years. It's been 20 years and the only story that has gripped me in the same way is the Lord of the Rings. It is in that company Final Fantasy X should be remembered. I am forever greatful I picked this game up in my youth. It has influenced my entire life. That is amazing...
lmao.. This was obviously a joke and global warming was probably one of the better ways to set it up. The only one who mentioned a conspiracy theory was you.
Thank you. I cannot imagine how much effort it took to put all this together. What an absolutely beautiful journey. To finally be able to know of Final Fantasy X's story, and the context behind its music that I love so much. Thank you for all this.
So grateful to have found this. It might sound crazy, but this game is special to me. The music just brings back this almost euphoric feelings of childhood happiness and despair. My love for the game and the tearing feeling I felt as a young girl when Yuna said “never forget them...” and the credits rolled. Oh my goodness, I love this game!
I remember in 2001 when getting the ps2 for the first time, Final Fantasy 10 was my first game to play on the ps2, already been a fan of 7,8, and 9, I never played any final fantasy before that, this game is still incredible, love replaying the ps4 hd remaster
no matter how much time passes, I'm still so full of feelings everytime I play or see this amazing story. Really, FFX is, for me, the very best scenario in the ff franchise (at least, from the few 5-6 I played)
The only game I have replayed constantly and never get tired of. Between the wonderfully intricate story filled with such intrigue and themes applicable to everyday life (is it better to live in blissful ignorance or confront the ugly corrupt truth of your reality?) to the gameplay, dialogue, character development, all of it is so wonderful! No matter how old I get from a mopey teen to now and beyond this'll be one of my favorite games ever
8:24:34 As a 10 yr old this was nothing but a cool video.. now as a 28 yr old Braska's words hit SO HARD! Re-watching this 18 years later, never thought I would find wisdom in the words of a high summoner. "Choose your path and follow your heart. Embrace the struggles that come with it and doors will open."
The music continues to evoke strong feelings even after all these years. A brilliant soundtrack, and an excellent story! I'm already looking forward to watching this again next year ;)
Still an iconic game to this very day. Every single scene (the actual cinematics / dialogue scenes) is still so heartfelt and well done. The messages are so clear and powerful.
First of all I just want to thank you for doing this. This is my absolute favorite game of all time! I bought the remastered edition and am currently playing it with my wife (who's never played it) and if I play while she's at work or something and she misses anything important I can come right back to this video, so again thank you so much! This is one of those games/stories that will be shared with my twins when they are old enough to comprehend the story. They are only 2 but when I turn it on they say "Games, Tidus and Yuna!" lol. Okay last time, thanks bro!
Fantastic video! Very well cut, very well edited. Nicely done. Now I don't have to spend all that time farming and leveling up to watch the story of one of the greatest Final Fantasies again. Very cool.
Thank you so much for this. I have gone almost completely blind, and I wish to replay all the FF games again, but thankfully through videos like this, i can relive them vicariously. Squaresoft really had a thing for memories and dreams, and I wil never forget them.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS OUT!!! this is my favorite game of all time...and yes i cried on some parts...cuz this story line is just that good! I watched all 11 hrs of this...very nicely done!!!!
My favorite parts (besides the entire ending) for me to reference :-) *spoilers below folks!* 40:50- Tidus's Hello to Besaid 1:01:00 Yuna becomes a summoner 1:09:07 Tidus dreams saying he hates Jetch/ Lulu's entrance 2:22:06 Tidus teaches Yuna to whistle 2:28:57 Cheesiest line of the game LOL 3:01:30 The infamous laughing scene, which is actually quite sad and emotional when you know the entire story 4:11:03 Riff raff lol *inserts foot in mouth* *MAJOR SPOILER* 6:28:50 Long scene of Tidus finding out the truth 7:04:30 Believe... 7:15:00 Futile... 7:36:00 Lake Macalania... c'mon... don't tell me you didn't cry! 8:17:20 Kimahri faces his demons, highly underrated scene IMO 8:30:48 Your hope ends here! 9:23:08 Yunalesca scene 10:29:15 Don't you ever give up??? 10:50:26 The aeons :'( *MAJOR SPOILER!!!* 10:54:34 Tidus spills the beans 11:05:00 OMG I BEGAN CRYING LIKE A MOTHER F-ER!!! 11:09:18 And my heart shatters into a million pieces
0:18 when I saw for the first time this scene I was amazed by the graphics that the PS2 could render! The landscape, detailed models and animation. 9:00:49 When I saw again the same scene… It hit me hard emotionally
Now that we had grown older we may not have the time to re-play the whole game again and watching this meant a lot. Just want to say thank you so much for the hard work putting this together. One of my best childhood game. The storyline was really really awesome and great :') it will remain in our memories forever.

dansg08 do you happen to have done kingdom Hearts? it's not final Fantasy but it is somewhat related. if not it's all good just wondering. great work on this video btw, truely bringing back the old times for me
Joe H. Dude just look up kingdom hearts movie, I can't remember who but someone's made the kingdom hearts franchise into movies as well.
its great how you include the battle scenes as well, silr muja.

Definitely in my top games of all time 💯%
Same here. Doesn't help that I listen to the distant worlds albums all the time.
Bro, this comment... I love you man!
Holy fuck I feel the same way , it’s a part of me I feel
LITERALLY EVERTIME I FINISH THE GAME I CRY
VIII and IX, while great games, I don't feel any deep connection with the world
Soviet played FF?
@@daovictoria Thankfully VIII and IX have the best soundtracks so it balances out.
@@Walamonga1313 If you've seen some of Soviet's videos, he has FFX To Zanarkand's track in some of his videos. That's how I knew he played FFX. The most iconic theme song that every FFX player knows. It's the first intro song you hear and it's the near end game goal you wish to reach just to hear it again.

i read "magic" as "tragic" and honestly... I think both work lmao
I watched this after a Biden story hoping for trump
watching this just makes me happy and relaxed. maybe because it brings me back to my childhood, playing this game till 4am no worries in the world. beautiful game
Joe H. same broo... i was like 7/8 years old waking up at 5:00 oclock before school just to play this game
ToXs damn I played this all summer one of the summers. I would beat it and just start a new game without hesitation and just kept going 😂
Me too i was in 5th grade now im 23.... Brings good old times
You make me cry bro i fell you.
I was eleven when the game came out. The hours I've spent on both X and X2 are in my heart.
Some scenes I never really realized as a kid how emotionally powerful they were. The older I get the more I love scenes like the kiss in Macalania or when Tidus learns Jecht is Sin. I will never get tired of this beautiful tragic story.
thats why i rewatch this almost everyday / go to sleep with it on
This game was an awakening to me in a lot of ways.
Tidus my husband!
"Dad?"
"Yeah?"
"I hate you."
that almost made me cry when i played it

@@moisemensah8233 a story is more than just its ending.
Jia L. FF has already gone since FF12. I played and finished ff4-ff12, but i never finish Ff13 trilogy and ff15. Ff15 is disappointed me so much.
FFXV is a joke. Especially compared to the epic story of X
Play Lost Odyssey on 360

+Beowulf the best part tbh
+Beowulf personally I kinda laughed more when Tidus started smelling Auron clothes, he kinda looked like a dog on that part.
+Beowulf I read this comment before getting to that part, and it was a lot funnier than I imagined, LOL. I can't believe I missed this part when playing the game.
Omg I just got to that part hahaha
This is easily one of the best games ever made and best stories ever told.
7 is great, 9 is great, 6 is great, even 13 trilogy and 15 are great. But ff10 will always be the best for me. Tidus is the best storyteller in the franchise.
4 though!
Confident, mature, self-assured, intelligent, cynical and certainly no bubbly Japanese RPG ingenue - she’s always been my favorite character.
interesting. I like her boobs

Thanks man!
no he's a douchebag he used yuna and the gang to hit back yunalesca's ass that's all
While that was indeed a douche move, he is the only reason Spira enjoys the eternal calm after these events
The guy uses Nair on his armpits (Luca cutscene). Creepy
Auron is definitely one of the greatest fantasy characters ever, not just games.
Try Nier: Automata.

Our hero Jecht, gone. Vanished into thin air!
My dad must have been his biggest fan, I knew how sad he'd be.
Heck. we all were that day. "Zanar," I says to myself. "What are you thinking?"
I went to running straight back home. We sat up talking 'bout Jeckt all night.
My dad and I never talked so much..
Whoa...Didn't mean to reminisce, folks,
Anyway, ten years later, The Jeckt Memorial Cup tournament is today!
The two teams that have won through to the finals are...of course, the Abes

Jao Romero the chocobo races were the stupidest things I’ve ever done but beating it was truly powerful feeling
Chocobo races are nothing compared to lightning dodging minibullshit
did you guys compete the monster arena challenges and get legendary weapons that break the attack limiter? and did you fight the hardest boss in Final Fantasy history aka penance? because that's where the limiter breaking weapons and stats came in handy!
but in the climax arc of the story you cant fucking play blitzball.
I've always hated Blitzball. Being forced to play was the worst part of the game imo. 👀

I've wanted to share that experience with my girlfriend for ages but since I no longer have a console or a copy of the game (I can run it on an emulator on my PC but it's not really the same, and it's less immersive for both of us if I'm having to play) I didn't think I would be able to. Something hit me while watching
Sin comes back to retrieve its spawn and Jecht is Tidus's father so technically he is Sin's spawn and wherever Tidus goes Sin just happens to show up
Well, Tidus is the son of Jecht.
Doge of Dojima that would be a great way for the game story developer to make the plot look seamless instead of convinient lol
Nicely put
Sin (Jecht) is always there to take Tidus where he should be for the plan. He takes him to Spira, when you're with the Albhed he takes you to Besaid (Yuna), he shows what Sin is about and needs to be put down, he is there below Macalania to take them to Bikanel/Sanubia where Seymour is attacking the Albhed and trying to capture Yuna, and he goes to see you at Zanarkand when you kill Yunalesca. Didn't you realize?
He was teaching tidus on how to destroy sin.

Kudos.
I feel you bro this game had me playtrough so much when i first got it cus i loved the well told story
Kuppo
I get it! The whistle not only has that meaning, but you can hear the emotion in the whistle at the end.
The way Yuna looks at Tidus at 1:05:30 gets me every time. Truly the best FF girl.
Danial Naim Nordin jah, cept for the “oh yeah I’m supposed to give my life to make sin go bye bye for 10 years” part that she left out lol
nah Tifa from ff7 is better
When i was a kid playing this i always imagined that if games where so awsome right now,how incredible they would be in the future, man am i disapointed
The graphics are better at least
i have played so many games in my 30 years and this was just something else. i still think about this game 16 years later. it's one of the few games i actually finished and rewatching this puts me right back into it. all the feelings haha. it's just great
Ooof, same
Are we going to talk about the fact that this game will be 20 years old next year?
Now I feel old. Jesus Christ.
Only a couple more days away..
10 years old already... time flies
Yea, i was just thinking that when i began watching. i was in high school and this game was revolutionary for my classmates and i.
@@enrique4036 Yes, they were so advanced for their time! I remember, in X-2, I would spend so much time in the Luca stadium to watch cinematics because they were just astonishing.
This is actually longer that the Lord Of The Rings extended trilogy. ffx is just epic.
11h24m is the runtime of the extended trilogy
@@Walamonga1313 are you counting the credits though? They are insanely long.
I remember the first time i saw this cutscene my dad was watching and was shocked, he said : "Wow i have no words... i thought that games were only stupid... but this... it's very very intelligent."
Also for 3:29:35
One of the greatest stories in gaming, and proof that video games are also an art form.
Anybody else who cried multiple times watching/listening through this? Reminiscing old memories and wishing you were still 14 years old. Feeling how deep a mark these characters stories have made in your heart. Wishing you could forget everything only to experience it all anew.
I have a cold black heart and this game made me cry.
After beating ffx I can’t help but add
“Ya?” Or “huh?” At the end of my sentences.
Not even mad. Thanks Wakka.
Wakka made me hate the game :|
Tell them. Damn Albhed. Those sand blasted greese monkeys. Heathen!
You do you
@@koriejohnson9865 Thanks, didn’t need you to tell me that.
@@elliemellie4337 wtf wakka is fucking awesome you don’t deserve to play this masterpiece
Brilliantly put together! I can't believe how great it all flows, thank you so much for taking the time to create this so we can all relive such a wonderful story.
This game just means so much to me... it makes me feel like... I don't even know what to say. Thanks for the hard work... I really appreciate it.
x and x-2 was my wife life for a long time, she actually 100% completed both! Did all the chocobo, training, raising racing and found hidden temples, Did the full 10 Crimson spheres. Finially unlocked claimed and completed the 100 levels of hell Claiming the Iron Duke and some amazing lore
Leaving your playlists on as I sleep is blissful. Your format is perfection. They have replaced documentaries for good. FFX is a prime exemplar of human achievement in art.

Thank you for this
This is one of those rare beautiful artistic gems of gaming IMO.
I love FF12 but I don't think it has near the popularity of FF7 or FF10.
ihatevoyager well FF7, i've never played, but FFX, it's a fantastic game, but in my opinion, the best FF that i have played, was ffxii, overcome any other ffxii. and forgive my english, i don't if it say like that in this case, like something better i mean.
rodrigo dos santos
rather they just rerelase it on pc already
Despite the feels and all the sadness, always remember to smile. And if that's too hard, well... skip to 03:00:00
Aww perfect!
HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!
Incredibly timed 😂
3:01:36 best part
I love how not only you get to see all the cutscenes, but you get a little bit of the battles and gameplay as well. Thank you for putting this together.
This is byfar the best cutscene movie i have ever watched, since im poor enough to buy my own playstation to play this is am glad that you have downloaded the gameplay for us unfortunate to watch and enjoy , thank youvery much! much love from the Philippines :)
+Marie Cris Glad you enjoyed it, hopefully one day you can experience it for yourself :)
***** lol! I'd just play the main game, though. I never worry about spin offs :)
i can relate to what she's saying : ( tnx 4 uploading....
I enjoy just listening to this while I'm working or drawing. I can imagine all of the visuals in my head. And when the story finishes, I hit that repeat button and relive the emotional journey all over again.
“Even if I was with you, I could never forget” - Yuna.
One of the most powerful lines to this incredible story.
I almost started crying at the first few piano notes from the beginning. This game meant so much to me
Hey girl, what's your onlyfans? Bonus if you're hairy
Now this is a real final fantasy game! The music, voices, and animation all fits so well. Never will we experience anything like this again.
That reprise of To Zanarkand when Tidus "hugs" Yuna, always gets me..
+thearchitect27 You have no idea how long I've wanted Final Fantasy: Pre-X to become a thing. It would be one of the greatest FFs EVER.
Booker Hindley Tidus only goes 1,000 years into the past (Wakka, Yuna etc) so where is the extra 2,000 years coming from?
+thearchitect27 Tidus doesn't go back into the past... Watch my "Timeline Of Spira" video to understand what's going on there, it's a common misconception.
dansg08 He goes into the future man, I know, I've played this game religiously and I know how the timeline works. It's almost as if their world gets more primitive with the passage of time, due to the invasion from Sin.
I love how much effort you put in each of your video.
Thank you. You're awesome!
:D

"Chocobo power"
guys I've found the solution to global warming issues
one problem. Vegans
Naw, it's totally Phoenix Down and sick remixes of old FF songs XD
Sleepy Stu Yeah no I'm not getting into this argument
lmao.. This was obviously a joke and global warming was probably one of the better ways to set it up. The only one who mentioned a conspiracy theory was you.
Poor fuckin fiend...all he wanted was some chicken and they completly obliterate his nutsack and knock him off a cliff..cruel..
Thank you for putting this together! Beautiful story
no matter how much time passes, I'm still so full of feelings everytime I play or see this amazing story. Really, FFX is, for me, the very best scenario in the ff franchise (at least, from the few 5-6 I played)
I can't believe this...came to watch a few minutes...5 hours in now☺
***** Man, what a ride! This was so absolutely great to watch! I got nothing else done today...☺ And I'm Better for it!
I'm already looking forward to watching this again next year ;)
There is a special place in heaven for you. Thank you for making this. When I die I hope I get to visit Zanarkand.

There is something so special about this game. Everyone has a story and the story itself is amazing. Thank you for th upload. Playing this at work lol
Now that we had grown older we may not have the time to re-play the whole game again and watching this meant a lot. Just want to say thank you so much for the hard work putting this together. One of my best childhood game. The storyline was really really awesome and great :') it will remain in our memories forever.
I never get tired of this. I'm watching it for the 3rd time ...
This game is something else. One of the greatest work of art EVER MADE.
