Oh would you look at that. Cloud and Tifa's kiss being listed on Best Final Fantasy Scenes alongside other inconic scenes involving FF couples like Squall and Rinoa's dance and Tidus and Yuna's kiss. It's interesting how the majority of people get it but a certain loud minority of FF7 "fans" continue to be in denial lol.
i think its something so stupid to get caught up on xD If people fail to see the obvious, that is Tifa and Cloud, then let them be. Its just strangers on the internet.
@@DMulisha13 You're right of course, but man, after nearly 30 years of listening to them twist the story and the characters to fit their fan fiction narrative, their tears are delicious now.

Great list, WatchMojo!! I would have asked a couple of different ones but this was a very satisfying list of FF moments that brought good memories back, even the newer ones!
Definitely the Cloud & Tifa date and kiss as well as their almost kiss in Gongaga before they got interrupted by Yuffie are my top 2 fave Ff series scenes of all time. Also Zack & Aerith meeting for the first time in Crisis Core Reunion and staring into to each others eyes will always be in my top 5 as well!
No love for FFXII and FFXIII? At least Lightning’s epic entrance should have been there! Not to mention Cid and Balthier’s interaction before the final boss battle with Cid
My favorite cutscene in the entire Final Fantasy VII franchise was when Sephiroth appeared in that Nibelheim illusion in Remake. No, EVERY SINGLE CUTSCENE that man appeared in is my favorite! Tyler Hoechlin is doing a wonderful job voicing my favorite FFVII character! I swear I MELTED 🫠 when Sephiroth talked in that new, seductive, calm voice of his!
Cleriths are mad in the comments because even people outside of shipping know the impact of the Cloud & Tifa date and are acknowledging the importance of their relationship 😂
Nothing from 13? 12 i can understand but 13 had excellent cutscenes and hype moments like when they first went to Pulse or invaded the Cocoon race track
one of my more memorable cutscenes from the FF series is the cutscene leading up to the final boss of FFXIV Havensward, my god I was an emotional wreck during that scene
Loved the date with Clod and Tifa. Also, one of my personal favorite is when Tifa woke up in Gongaga and Cloud was waiting, and they had a heart to heart talk 🥰
Nothing from FF XII? The whole game is just filled with amazing cut scenes! The opening battle, the first time approaching the Sandsea, flying to the Ridorran Cataract, slashing the Sun Stone, any of the summon battle opens.
Gotta agree, that top spot is as memorable for me as Final Fantasy cutscene goes but personal favorite is still the #2 spot - that was one plot twist I didnt expect but man it did elevate the story.
For real. The only thing I can think of not including them is because some transition from cutscene to playable and back. Like, the good bye scene before Origin had me believing they would return or right after that Bahamut making a way for Clive and Joshua to fight Ultima as Phoenix and Ifrit. That Titan fight is amazing too or anything with Cid - "I'm here to even the odds. Any objections?"
My favorite cutscene in FF8 back in the day was Rinoa and Squall's dance sequence at the SeeD graduation ball. It wasn't until the remaster released more than 2 decades later that I noticed something about it. The younger gamer crowd may not know, but all PS1 era disks had to load at some point, resulting in either a very noticeable pause or a graphical skip; it was just what it was, so you got used to it.. When Rinoa pulls Squall onto the dance floor is such a moment for the game to load the scene, yet the music never actually loses tempo. When the remaster launched a very noticeable half second delay between the character movements and music was apparant. So, in essense, the devs actually used that half-second delay to set the tempo perfectly, but was lost on the remaster since loading is almost instantaneous. Genius move in my book really.
Every Sepiroth, Cloud, Tifa and Aerith, FF XV and XVI defienitily XVI trailer cutscene are the BEST Final Fabtasy cutscenes, 7 Remake, XV, XVI and VII Rebirth are the BEST FF games! 😊❤
Both FFX’s cutscenes of Yuna’s dance on the water and the closing of the game where (spoiler alert) Tidus shares a final moment on the airship are easily better than half of these.
I think all of us would have picked more scenes from whichever our favorite entries are. I might have picked more from 7 and 9, and you'd like more from 10, but I thought they did a good job of spreading it out.
@ as an example, I would’ve thought the opening to FFVIII would’ve been up there, but they chose the parade scene 🤷🏻♂️. To each their own. Overall, good list
aerith's death is one of the greatest cutscenes FF history both the OG and rebirth did amazing job about the flower girl we love so much back on the ps1 it still me make cry see it everytime 😭
I think you did a true disservice to Final Fantasy X, by not including the sending Yuna does in Kilika. Probably one of the most saddest, and beautiful cutscenes we've ever had in a Final Fantasy game.
How is it possible that there isn't one CS from final fantasy XIV!? ARR alone was over 486 hours with both MSQ and side quests. The end credits are an hour and 38 minutes long. Considering it's still active, I would have hoped at least one of the immense amounts of CS would be listed. Maybe MojoPlays should run a free trial and see.
It seems a lot of time lists like this only take into account the single player games even though they don't specifically say that. I think it's partly because of the sheer number of hours of scenes that exist for a game that has been around a decade or more. If you're doing a video like this or writing an article, it's too many hours to try to research or remember. FFXIV could probably have its own top 10 or 20 scenes list broke up by expansion.
"No more shall man have wings to bear him to Paradise. Henceforth, he shall walk." I get why it was skipped, but man does FFXIV have a bunch of them, the Answers cutscene from Endwalker I think would definitely make this list.
Is it called 'Snowy March'? I always knew that as 'Terra's Theme.' Always had that in mind as one of the toons played at my funeral. (I'm getting old, so it's relevant haha.)
No way is the summoning of Odin more impressive than the summoning of Alexander in FFIX. Also The return to Cocoon from FFXIII (the attack on Eden) deserves to be on this list. Personally I would also include the closing cutscene from Lightning Returns. I know everyone hates on the XIII Trilogy, but the cinematography and quality of the cutscenes can't really be argued with. There is also a shocking lack of FFXIV and, really, the closing cutscene from FFXIV 1.0 is not only an amazing cutscene but it was also incredibly important both in the segway from that to ARR and also from a meta perspective with the scope of what they achieved in relaunching the game. If you can watch that and listen to Answers without having feelings then there is something wrong. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if several iconic scenes (the end of XIII, Answers, the opening of VIII) weren't included because they have extremely high copyright strike potential due to the associated music.
Kain's betrayal at Fabul from FFIV? You're not alone sequence from FF IX? FF VII Nanaki learning the truth about his father. Edit: Just remembered: Celes' attempted suicide from FF VI.
Why? It's optional. It's clearly fanservice to keep Cloti fans happy so they're not flipping out at the non-optional Clerith stuff. I will take official Clerith songs symbolizing Cloud and Aerith's feelings for each other over some _optional_ kiss scene that doesn't have to happen. I'm personally fine with it :)
@@divinearia1601 funny because the writer himself who helped make the song said it was about Aerith's bonds with everybody. It symbolizes the friends she has made during the course of the journey.
That's easy. the story of Zack and Cloud escaping Shinra Manor in FFVII. Some fairly important information that you're almost guaranteed to miss on your first playthrough unless someone tells you about it.
I would have picked the scene from Phoenix Gate at the end of the prologue for 16. That scene is brutal and horrifying and sets the tone for the entire game. Like a lot of the better scenes from 16 it might have been judged too graphic though.
I hated what they've did to Aerith's fate in FF7 Rebirth which makes me worried about Part 3. If those developers do not do something to tie up the loose ends to end the remake's story, it will suffer the similar fate as that shitty Kingdom Hearts story.
Pretty sure they changed nothing about what actually happened. We're seeing it from the perspective of Cloud's almost broken mind though, so we're confused just like he is.
sigh.... this video is basically a glorified FF7 moments, too many while other series does has their greatest moments as well, & those from FF7 being picked wasn't even that great. What's worse... even before start watching, already got a gut feeling that this video WILL not even includes their online albeit mainline series, & sure enough. I mean... even that infamous moment from FF14 for example, namely that part near Endwalker expansion ending where WoL walking up those "steps" while accompanied that magnificent song, makes alot of players actually went teary eyes, It was a very glorious touching moments. I do glad that my fave FF6 at least did get few parts in this video, but it's just felt like sorry excuse since the inclusion of FF7 were way too much in it. How is it possible to put Cloud and Tifa's date, which is an “optional” cutscene that most people haven’t seen, and not put Aerith singing No Promises to Keep, which is one of the best cutscenes in FFVII Rebirth.
If you don't see Cloud and Tifa's date, then you're a Cloud & Aerith shipper because you chose Aerith to date Cloud instead of Tifa, which by the way "the real" most people want to see especially their kissing scene 😁.
@@alexm8d13 BTW, Nojima confirmed that “No Promises to Keep” is about everyone Aerith holds dear, and NOT a love song to Cloud. So there’s a little salt in your wound. 😋
Cope harder. Better yet, Aerith is still dead after all you Clerith ship stans thought that her death would be retconned in Rebirth, so now Cloud and Tifa are definitely having that date under the highwind where they “go all the way” so cope even harder!!!
Cloud just uses Tifa as a backup girl after she confessed her feelings to him because he thinks Aerith can't get over Zack = One of the Best Cutscenes now? lol Is that the relationship you want for Tifa to have? to be the leftover option for him after him showing complete interest in Aerith in there? Then 2 hours later the game pushes Cloud x Aerith and forces them regardless whichever optional date you've been through in gold saucer lol
Lmaooooo cope cope cope And YOU want to make Cloud as someone he’s not. He is NOT using Tifa as a backup. Cloud is not an asshole, especially not to Tifa. Mischaracterizing Cloud is crazy.
@@unnamedlegeon That's literally what makes it optional... Infact even if you choose tifa for the date there is a version where they just hug so it's DOUBLE optional lmao
My only issue with it is that it's an optional scene that might not have ever happened. Surely, that shouldn't be anywhere near the top considering how many amazing, _official_ moments exist in the Final Fantasy series. But I also get that this is someone's personal list of their opinions so, whatever 😊

Ff7 gets way too much praise and it's annoying. Disrespectful to other ff games ngl.
Ff7 is overrated.
@@moas1808 Nah.
Lol sure jan
Cloud just uses Tifa as a backup girl after she confessed her feelings to him because he thinks Aerith can't get over Zack = One of the Best Cutscenes now? lol
Is that the relationship you want for Tifa to have? to be the leftover option for him after him showing complete interest in Aerith in there?
Then 2 hours later the game pushes Cloud x Aerith and forces them regardless whichever optional date you've been through in gold saucer lol
Cope, not even the general public (this channel is one of them) notice any clerith moment lolol
Copium
Lmaooooo cope cope cope
And YOU want to make Cloud as someone he’s not. He is NOT using Tifa as a backup. Cloud is not an asshole, especially not to Tifa.
Mischaracterizing Cloud is crazy.
Cloud and Aerith back to back intertwining fingers >>> Optional tifa date. Even the devs said it's one of their best cutscenes
Cope.
It's not optional, you just choose Aerith to date Cloud over Tifa's 😏.
Cry more, your tears are delicious. Rebirth finally put an end to years of delusion.
@@unnamedlegeon That's literally what makes it optional... Infact even if you choose tifa for the date there is a version where they just hug so it's DOUBLE optional lmao
@@talmanes4589 Yea rebrith did end zerith but I am a clerith. See you in 3 years ;)
Does anyone want an XBOX series X? easier if you live in Wisconsin
A date with Tifa the floosy as #10, of all cut scenes in this amazing franchise.. typical "mojo____", crap.
Your girl's dead, dude.
Please cry more.
why so misogynist? it's 2024, go be gross elsewhere
My only issue with it is that it's an optional scene that might not have ever happened. Surely, that shouldn't be anywhere near the top considering how many amazing, _official_ moments exist in the Final Fantasy series. But I also get that this is someone's personal list of their opinions so, whatever 😊
@@SpacemanHardy...and the dead girl still makes your living girl insecure 'cos of reasons, dude.
