It turned out beautifully. Thank you for sharing. I think what I would like most is writing pages that are lined, but also very softly colored with flowers , vines, paisley, etc. Just a little more interest. My journals are for writing, so I'd love it. Thanks.

OK I have to say this..... YOU have the most soothing voice to craft too!!!! I always put on videos with you, even if Im not watching, just because I enjoy the soothing, calm, relaxing tone of your voice. ALSO I would like to suggest an idea to you (hope you read the comments) ..... when people post on your FB page, maybe offer an opportunity to someone monthly to be chosen to get ONE free kit and they have to do a guest DT video with that kit. This is beautiful! I have bought this kit and can’t wait to make it for my husband. One question… how many papers did you use in each signature? 🥰💖
About 5 papers (not including the random scrap ephemera I added into the signatures).

I tend to find around 4-5 papers works for a 1 inch spine, 5-6 papers for a 2 inch spine, and 6-7 for a 3 inch spine; but it really depends on how much decorating vs. writing space you want, if you want a thin or thick journal, etc. If I was just doing a really simple writing journal, I might have done 10 papers in each signature, ya know? But since I am adding ephemera, I needed a bit of room so I halved that.

I am really intrigued by these junk journals. But, I’m not understanding if there’s a use for them. Do you make them just for the art and beauty of the journal itself? Or do you journal on all of the note pages that you have put into the pockets? TIA. Marie
You can really use them however you want. As a simple interactive art piece, or to journal in any blank space available. Mostly, we just create them because it's fun and we love the process!
