I love, love, love a true junk journal. I HATE when TH-camrs are trying to sell downloads or encouraging downloads on their site. Doing that sometimes makes for a better esthetic, but not the unique quality and art of a true junk journal.

When I started jj'ing in 2020 I found it rather stressful to use the beautiful papers. It wasn't until I learned to use actual junk that I found the stress free creating I was looking for. I love these kinds of videos especially when they are asmr.

When you makes the holes with the awl, push the awl farther down to make the holes bigger. Then it's easier to sew in your signatures. ❤❤

It's refreshing to see someone using actual junk to make a junk journal, not printables, or pretty cardstock... I think that was the entire premise of a junk journal - they were meant to be made out of things you had lying around the house. They've almost lost their meaning.
