I'm not sure why they called it the "Great Movie Medley". Sure, its great music from the movies but its more specific than that. Every song performed in this medley were written by John Williams.
Because John Williams wouldn't let them use his name. The original and actual name of this piece of music is "The John Williams Tribute Medley," but they had to change it because John said "no."
