Ahh my little dragon lady, I enjoyed your giddy moments and yes they pull on my strings with the Home Alone and I'm glad you enjoyed that. I'm 58 and I remember Jaws staying in our theater in Annapolis for a whole year. We luckily had another theater on the other side of town. As a boater town I have one thing to say"we're gonna need a bigger boat!"
Awww Molly... So glad you enjoyed that. You looked like you were on the verge of bursting into tears several times. You don't have to hold back on our account! Jaws forever!
This was an awesome surprise to come home too after a long day at work... seeing you smile through the whole video was just what I needed :) I was born in 1978 so this was my childhood in one awesome video. Thank You for sharing with us.
There's a wonderful Swedish vocal group called The Real Group. They have an instrumental song called Gota. It is one of the most gorgeous pieces of music I've ever heard. Highly recommend reacting to their live rendition of it. The Real Group's been around for over 30 yrs. Not really well known in the states.
Didn't know anything about this this video or the group before I watched your reaction. While watching I thought what my favorite movie probably was back in time. I knew nearly all of those movie songs and I liked the movies but was missing something special. When you found your favorite, I was happy for you, but at the same time I was surprised that I still could not say that I had found my favorite. But then, yay - Indiana Jones. My favorite adventurer from the past. Still love adventure movies, with secret places, espionage, action, excitement. Unfortunately, there is nothing current in theaters in this regard.
Good on you for picking up the John Williams connection. Everyone is always thrown, by the olympics theme. It seems only the very astute reactors put it together.
Yes, this is a tribute to John Williams. They originally called it something like A Tribute to John Williams, but they realized that a lot of people really wouldn't know who John Williams is (if you can believe that). But this is just spectacular (as is everything Voctave does).
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm having a lot of fun lately because people are recommending me all sorts of things I never would've checked out on my own. I'm really glad to be experiencing new things!
I enjoyed your reaction and your enthusiasm for the movie themes shelved your plans to not talk much during the medley. I hope that you will feel better soon!
Whether or not you do a reaction, you should listen to "Star Wars (John Williams Is The Man) a cappella tribute music medley - Corey Vidal and Moosebutter". I think you'll love it!
Voctave has a whole bunch of videos out there. Another group you should check out is Voice Play Especially there Little Mermaid medley. By the way, I'm not crying...your crying. 😂
You just saw a video by one of the greatest a cappella groups of all time. I say saw instead of heard because you missed most of this fabulous singing by talking all the way through it.
Also, I forgot about you being an anthropologist but I remember you mentioning it during commentary of 'True Detective' S1 some time back. Patreon supporter and longtime fan. :)
This was less of a Great Movie Medley and more of a tribute to John Williams. That's why the Olympics were featured. He composed the theme for it.
Definitely makes sense to me! But hey - John Williams has composed so many beautiful pieces to great movies they can still call it that, I suppose LOL

Oh wow! That would've been such a great experience - getting to see Jaws in the theater!
You got me on the " I'll be right here" lol

It’s sad to know that John Williams is retiring soon

Different than what I'm used to but not bad at all

pentatonix did star wars
You're going to have to do a lot more talking. You're letting some of the video come through.
I was hoping you would react to this one. Great job Molly. :)
