Yeah, there’s tons to learn from, but due to limitations in the upcoming engine, as well as things such as completion deadlines for quests, magic systems, etc, I wouldn’t expect much. I also don’t like how they’ve shifted into the live service trend lately, and brought back paid mods. Then the Nexus had to piss the bed and stop mod creators from being able to delete their mods, and as a result many have paywalled their content on Patreon. (But they only ask for like $1-$5.)
I like the idea of having different spells have reactions with each other. Like fire and ice used together to causing a enemies to become wet making electro spells do additional damage. I think a combo system like that would make the magic combat feel a lot more dynamic.
This mod is simply amazing and it made go back to Skyrim after long gameplays of Fallout. I've been following your F.A.Q's on modding but I'm just not able to reproduce the DoF effects from the sequence of Restoration (starts at 7:42) and I was wondering: could you share your Depth of Field settings mate? They're gorgeous. Nonetheless, awesome showcase! Cheers!

@@bigdaddyaghmad There’s two versions of it. One over 300mb and another 168ish. I use 168 and had no issues but I also don’t combine arcanum with any other spell addition mods besides astral magic (which Is small) lol
The Mod Author says that he's doing Conjuration next then Alteration. Are you going to update this video when he does the the last two schools of magic? By the way, thanks for this video showing the spells of Arcanum.
I recently heard he's taking a break, during which he'll do some "eldritch and vampire spells" before taking on conjuration and alteration. Honestly, those two schools alone will allow so much creative freedom!
@@lgchamp1999 I've had this idea brewing about sigils and magic circles for his upcoming spell packs. Imagine summoning a certain magic circle on the ground (think a really large rune) that adds additional effects to certain spells. Perhaps you have a really whimpy fire spell that does 2 damage but when cast in certain sigils takes on various other (powerful) effects that reward movement and strategic placement. I'm all about synergy.
@@skellygaming2129 I very much like them. If you look on the Nexus page on what he says about illusion, it isn't all about mind manipulation, but mentalism. He points out that in Skyrim, battlemages and sorcerers don't really make use of illusion spells when you can just throw a fireball. Now, illusionists have raw magicka damage spells that work when you have a greater magicka total than your opponent. In Arcanum, you're in a sense, making fun of the opponent's "lesser intelligence" (magicka) and punish them for it with spells called "Overwhelming Insight" and such.
7:07 I think this is a reference to Final Fantasy XIV's Dreadwyrm Trance, where the Summoner gets insta-cast for 15 seconds. While the Trance is active, they also get the ability to cast Dreadwyrm Flare, a giant powerful vertical beam blast, and end the Trance instantly. Also the defensive spells are probably the most fun in this set imo. Can't wait to try a bunch of different spellblocking utilities, outside of that Spellbreaker shield :D
Ive literally started a new game for this mod alone, and by god is there one hell of a lot more to it than just these spells. Doctor strange meets skyrim imao
how have i never heard of this, the spells look amazing, in both ways, i kept lookin at the time thinkin ok its not the biggest spell pack ive seen but is unique, then the message at the end sayin theirs another 69 spells made me get more excited than a kid at xmas lol. i cant wait till im home later to try this out. not sure id use the frenzy a enemy on you spell but the rest seem great, specially if they work with ordinator cos the restoration spells affectin undead would make paladin/crusader builds even better.
Can only imagine what the magic system in Elderscrolls 6 will be like. From visuals, particles, animations of the spells and body movements, their stats and functions. My Hope's is that their will be more variety with a larger number of spells to be learnt. But not only do I want to see more quantity but also more quality. No use in having 100 spells in destruction if 90 of those spells are not that great.
Some day I hope to be as knowledgeable as you on skyrim, and get a stronger CPU and better monitor, and achieve the ultimate goal of a 1000 modded skyrim. Thank you for your Guides Sinitar, its saved my butt on multiple occasions.

I thought the spells for restoration were really really well done, the destruction spells seemed a bit overpowered, but I don’t like most of the illusion spells you showed. They seem to be more like alteration and conjuration. I would have loved to see spells that actually reflect that school like spectral decoys or spells to boost speech checks or spells to make enemies blind or stuff like that (idk I’m spitballing here). Illusion is more about manipulating the mind and making targets think their reality is altered when in fact it’s not. Most of the spells you showed for this just seemed random, primal taunt and scapegoat are the only ones I thought really fit the school and even those weren’t really all that different from just regular frenzy.

And yes, some Illusion spells would indeed fit into other schools, but the thing here Arcanum does not yet have all the schools - it's iterational mod, and mod author is aware of this this too :)
Sinitar Gaming so does that mean they’re going to reassign some of those illusion spells as they release conjuration and alteration? If they did that, I feel like they’d have to add more to illusion to help fill it out

Fell on it while I was looking for deathknight build and some new spells, and jumping from a mod to another, I found this one : "Jaxonz Positioner", as written in text... Haven't tested it yet myself, but from what I heard, it's a must have. Give it a try if you need it. ^^
@@jr5343 then you have mod beneath Arcanum affecting vendor inventory. I play on Xbox and I have access to all the spells when I'm the appropriate level, just like in vanilla. So check your load order. There are also four spells you can only get from beating special bosses in the game. (Trance of the Dovahsofas, Tendrils of Agony, Exalted Armament, and Glorious Invocation).

Битрейт - все по рекомендации Ютуба - выше все равно не выйдет хД Второй вопрос весьма "взагали" - все зависит от сетапа, конечно, но я бы сказал что нужно всегда иметь 16ГБ оперативки, это очень важно.

You should check out the highly underrated Spellsiphon mod by Arctal Mods. It's quite surprising how much depth they put into this magic mod that's barely even 150 KB in size (on PC, ~230 KB on Xbox One).

You can buy novice,Apprentice and adept tome from any vendors.The expert spell tome are only found on College of Winterhold spell vendors. Reformulated tomes aka master tomes are craftable using the new workbenches added with the mod. They can be found in Arcaneum and Arch-Mage's quarters

For Alteration they should made a spell called Apotheosis so the Dragonborn can ascend to Godhood like Talos.

It is. The original name for the spell was actually Dreadwyrm Trance before the MA changed it. You can still see it called that on the Nexus page lol

The whirlwind spell reminds me a lot of Dragons Dogma, possibly the inspiration for that one came from that.

Great mod some spells a really cool and fit great . I really like restoration tree , but most of the mod seems over the top

Второй вопрос весьма "взагали" - все зависит от сетапа, конечно, но я бы сказал что нужно всегда иметь 16ГБ оперативки, это очень важно.

Loved the Vid!! I actually downloaded the mod after watching. But I can’t find some of the spells. bought a few from some vendors. But can’t find three spells display in ur vid. Looking for Detention Sphere, Sol Invictus, and Spinning Tempest... Help a brother out!!??

You should check out the highly underrated Spellsiphon mod by Arctal Mods. It's quite surprising how much depth they put into this magic mod that's barely even 150 KB in size (on PC, ~230 KB on Xbox One).

Same as any other spells.
How do I get the cool magics
You can buy novice,Apprentice and adept tome from any vendors.The expert spell tome are only found on College of Winterhold spell vendors. Reformulated tomes aka master tomes are craftable using the new workbenches added with the mod. They can be found in Arcaneum and Arch-Mage's quarters
