brilliant setup sir, danke. i lowered the toes slightly for better turn-in and had to take some corners in a lower gear (sector 2 you're able to take corners in 2nd or 3rd whereas i'm struggling to get sufficient engine braking) anyhoo, managed to almost sneak a 1.45 just now. keep up the great work!

vielen Dank! auch wenn ich nicht weiss wie ich das immer wiederkommende lose Heck kompensieren soll, dass passiert mir leider überall und nicht nur auf Monza..um dieses Auto auf eine gute Pace zu bringen fehlt mir leider das Vertrauen "ins Heck" Stabi hinten raus, Vorspannung weg..bringt alles nix. trotzdem fühl ich mich zu diesem Auto hingezogen :-D -----> bald haste 10K!! Wahnsinn, freu mich für dich!😎
Du kannst wenig Stabi hinten und viel vorne fahren. Das Heck ist eher beim Bremsen in langsamen Kurven lose, also sollte mehr Differentialvorspannung helfen. Für Traktion beim Beschleunigen einfach mehr TC. Aber ja, der McLaren ist besonders... 😅

Hello, just thank you. First time I pass under the 1 min 50. (1,49,4 for the best now). Still pretty slow compare to the top player but I was close to win a race online ! I lost because of the pressure on the last lap 😅Not use to dealing with that ^^

Da wird es sicherlich bald ein Update geben, in dem er Zusatzgewicht bekommt. Es ist tatsächlich viel zu leicht, mit dem McLaren übermäßig gute Rundenzeiten hinzulegen. Das liegt hauptsächlich an der Aerodynamik, dafür ist er aber in langsamen Kurven nicht wirklich gut... 😅

Welches Non-Evo-Setup meinst du? Da die Fahrzeuge sehr unterschiedlich sind, kann man die Setups nicht für beide verwenden. Aber ja, hier auf Monza kennt der Nachfolger keine Curbs.

Thanks to this setup and studying your motec data (total noob with it) I improved my time but about 0.6. My pb is now 1:46.320 thanks to you :)
I truly do not know how you brake as late as you do though. Just can't understand how you do it
That is awesome! I am not supposed to have the best braking technique either. The brakes seem to be pretty bad though in the McLaren.

So the quali setup is faster but it will increase the tyre wear, is that right ? Is there any other difference that i am missing ?
The qualifying setup is more aggressive. Hence it might have a worse tire wear for sure, but it should not be too much of a difference for sprint races.

For the GT4 cars, just take the aggressive preset to start with. It is more about the driving in these cars. Make sure to adjust the wing (mostly maximum setting) and the ride height. Other than that you can go with the lowest ABS / TC you feel comfortable with.

Hallo! Die aktuellen Fahrzeuge bleiben. Sofern eine Strecke bereits für diese gemacht wurde, kommen der Lamborghini und der McLaren hinzu. Wenn ich mal viel Zeit habe, dann kann ich auch mehr Fahrzeuge machen, aber sicherlich nicht jede Woche. Von daher kann ich nichts versprechen.
Vielen Dank für die Antwort! Hatte schon Angst, dass der M4 abgelöst wurde, da es mein main Auto ist. Die Frage hat sich dann aber geklärt.

I just hit 1:48 for my first time and man even then I felt like I was pushing but feel I’m super slow I. The first chicane. And I also struggle to get full throttle out of the last chicane, I have no problem with the chicane itself but everyone seems to have a better exit and I’m just barley hitting 4th coming out the chicane while everyone is shifting to 5th
@@runrabbrun9867it may be you’re doing the ascari curves slower than you could if the car not asking for 5th gear by then. The whole track of Monza is all about flow and coasting the car in the right spots. It’s all about releasing the brakes when you need to and as soon as the rotation is in there back on the power fully. That’s where I was losing the most of my time in the beginning
Cab the sprint setup also be used for an endurance race ?
I have not tested it. You can give it a try and see how it behaves throighout a longer stint.

Hello. I have not tested the setups from the previous version. There have been some damper changes. However, I believe that they should still work well!
I think We need a setup for Barcelona ;)
I will follow the LFM schedule, so when its driven there I might do it, but nothing I can promise for the McLaren now. Give the base setup a try and do slight adjustments to it, that should work well!
i`m using this setup, best lap is 1:49.3 and i can`t get how u`r getting so smoothly on the curb on 1:14
You should not cut too much there generally and definitely release the brakes when hitting the curb.

You do not take the same amount of momentum through corners then.

This is the MoTeC data which is a data analysis software, so it has nothing to do with the setups actually.

Great! There have not been any noteworthy updates since then and the setups are intentionally build to avoid physics abuses which should make them work well for a long time.
Can this setup still work in v1.10? Cant get into .47 sadly
It might still work well as the setup does not use any excessive values, but I have not tested it. Also, the car might have got worse here over the time due to BOP adjustments.

They are not shown in the replay mode which I record, there is nothing hidden...

At the first chicane, whenever i try to brake at the 150m spot, i always overshoot the corner, why is that, cause of the setup?
Why should it be because of the setup? I also brake at 150m, so it is your braking I suppose.

The McLaren does not have the best brakes and it is worse the slower you get. So a good trailbraking technique - even though I am not too good at it either - really helps with this car! It might be the error, but I cannot judge it not knowing how you approach that turn.

You might need to lower the amount of fuel (losing weight) which should help a little
Didn't know u can cut Variante ascari (turn 8,9,10)that much
This does not work with every car, but the McLaren does not care about those curbs somehow. The track limits allow to cut quite wide though in this section.

You can use a higher TC, feel free to do basic adjustments.

How to install this setup ?
After you have downloaded it, just put it into the correct ACC folder.
Documents - Assetto Corsa Competizione - Setups - specific car - specific track
Which setup do I use
The one that fits you best I suppose. Their meaning is mentioned in the video, the time stamps and the description.

There is not difference, only high temperatures might lead to less top speed.

Yes, the non-evo differs in terms of setup values.
What wheel do you use?
I use a Fanatec CSL DD wheel base combined with the Formula V2.5X wheel.
