I'm israeli with my native language being hebrew and whenever i try to hide my israeli accent in serious english conversations i end up having a weird ass accent that sounds like nothing at all
@@viennaramanoff5408no.. very few Israelis have American parents. We are exposed to American English through television, and things are rarely dubbed in Israel.. so it's easier for us to use American accent.
@Ethan Well almost , at least 60% of Israelis can pass as Arabs, some are too Russian looking or too European looking , In General Israelis can vary from whitest like even British looking to Black like African looking depends on origin, The Arabs that live in Israel or Palestinian Authority are also diverse and can be British looking like Ahed Tamimi and some cand be black like Taleb Tawatha (Israeli Arab Football player) since some origin from slaves that came from Africa and came to that region 100 years ago.
@the silent way as an israeli it is very not true, I have Ukrainian roots from uman , I look like an arab, with dark skin and dark hair and eyes and thick eyebrows, it is a common feature on my moms side of the family, most russian and Ukrainian jews are arab looking and also polish jews, it was even proven genetically that they are close to Egyptians and Syrian jews, about the European looking jews, they are not jews, they are mixed Slavic and jewish people, 90% of russian and Ukrainian jews in Israel are not jews and have only 1 jew or 2 in the family sometimes even less
@@ultimatedark5969 I can agree on that point that many Ashkenazi Jews look Oriental , on the other hand many north African , Sephardi and even Iraqi Jews look European, so I would still stay on the assumption that at least 60% of Israelis can pass as Arabs (as typical Arabs not Arabs like Ahed Tamimi) , now please your way of reacting "as an Israeli it is very not true" made me laugh - there is no absolute truth and it can happen that 2 opinions are true - "as an Israeli" ? - I am too Israeli - we just comment on YT in English for sake of discussion - אז בחייאת בלי דאווינים
@the silent way yes as an israeli means that I am israeli, I couldn't know that you're israeli as well, and Sephardic jews and Ashkenazi jews are almost 80% genetically similar, what I wanted to say is that jews from all around the world, well not all communities but most are genetically and historically and even culturally close to each other, much more than they are to local populations
