    The transcendent relationship dynamic between Michael Jordan (mentor) and Kobe Bryant (mentee) applies to every area of relationship life. All people who are great (Michael Jordan) want is someone to mentor that wants to be great and grind like they do (kobe bryant). In many areas of life people want to be mentored but they disappoint the mentor because they won't grind like the mentor. Kobe got Michael's attention because he was "about that life"

    The CRAZY thing about MJ and Mamba is there haven't been two players from DIFFERENT ERAS that were so similar to each other. Even though they faced off, they NEVER went up against each other prime vs. prime. When Kobe first entered the league, MJ was in his prime. When MJ was with the Wizards, he was outta his prime while Kobe was now in his. But in terms of their size, skillsets, mentality, etc., they were so damn similar. BUT YET from two different generations!

    • @bizil100
      @bizil100 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@thekobechannel4610 There's a DIFFERENCE between peak and prime! Jordan's PEAK was late 80's - early 90's! When Kobe came in the league Jordan was in his BACKEND PRIME! He was past his peak. BUT still the best player on the planet HANDS DOWN! Still winning scoring titles, still All League Defense, still winning rings! When Kobe first hit the league, MJ was STILL IN HIS PRIME!! But past his peak, mainly because he wasn't at athletic peak anymore.
      Wizards MJ was CLEARLY past his prime though. No longer a superstar. BUT at age 39-40 still was averaging All Star caliber numbers. 22 PPG, 4-5 dimes, 6 boards a night.
      So for guys who great GREAT for a long time, they have their prime, peak, and then backend prime. When u look at MJ, Kobe, Bron, Kareem, Mailman, Stockton, Duncan,Dirk, etc., this ALL APPLIES! Guys like this JUST DON'T PEAK and fall out of their prime all of a sudden.
