Unfortunately he's too far away from the tack strip when he stretch and he's tucking the area that didn't get stretch or kick.

It helps if you put the head of the power stretcher near the gripper 🤣🤣
Room to small for any benefit, easier and quicker with a normal knee kicker. I do swear by a power stretcher if used correctly, a tubless one would have been better in this demo

Small room, do it with the kicker, it gonna take you less time to finish, unless they pay you by hour, take all the time you want and do it the right way

Knee alone could of done this. But why don't you use the hammer hatchet?? It's alot easier and you can hook up the carpet to the tacks better.

I was thinking same thing!!! I run multiple crews and if a dude A: didn’t have a tail for stretching you obviously do t use a stretcher lol. And B: he has head far to far away from strip!! He is holding less than half of that stretch. I’m not trying to be a dick, but good lord son who taught you to lay rug?
I shook my head at that too. I dont do much stretching at all, rather clean it all day but when i do it i make sure i do it right and have the right stuff... wood board threw me off...
This guy doesn't know swat.so many things wrong.littery did nothing correct.i have been installing 50 yrs.and teaching flooring over 30 yrs.tjis guy is a hack.you can hear the carpet backing ripping apart.
