So nice to be able to listen to a service in France and have it be no different than the same service heard at good old Annunciation church here in Houston.

What I love about the sung TLM is that it never stops. I go to a NO parish now that has a mass ad orientam with Kyrie, Gloria, and Credo. But doing this is a problem in the NO because the mass stops when the choir is singing and it becomes a bit monotonous. But, the TLM keeps plugging along and doesn't wait for the congregation for a response. The mass in this form truly helps people realize that the mass is above all, a long prayer and the greatest prayer the Church has, not a simple gathering.

@idle44 He is doing it the traditional style. Old Mass has the priest going up to that place in order to preach the homily.

I guess the whole video has been cut at certain parts, since after the Epistle reading, there should be a Gradual, but in this video, the Alleluia precedes right after Epistle.

It's an SSPX Parish, quite close to the Cathédrale Notre Dame

@mleonetti1991 I think you are right. The Venacular is much longer than the Latin.

I was following along in Latin the Gospel, and apparently the priest either didn't finish it or skipped a big part of it. Is he allowed to do that?

Yes I understand you. but will you follow a Pope that teaches something different that Jesus Christ did?

@willzrc This is not true, in Eastern Orthodoxy and other early churches such as Oriental Orthodoxes (syriac church, coptic church, armenian) holds the same belief. The disagreements are "when" inthe liturgy this mystical transformation occurs, but the belief is the same.

The priest looks like Mr. Bean.

@AFP785 it's 'nomine' and not 'nominae' (plural) because there is only 1 God :)

If you look close you see that he sings more to the north to the nonbelievers

I don't understand why the priest sings the Gospel eastward (ie to God) rather than in the midst, or in front of, the people. Christ spoke to us! There are things which belong to God and things he has given to us.

Of course Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church. But human beings need to hear and see, too -- which is why the Pope is the visible head of the Church while Jesus Christ is its invisible Head.

Look starting, they change the latin mass, the cannon of the mass(if you are a good catholic you should know what is)is tottally changed for bad. then they said that all the religions were good, wich is very big mistake. and i could wrote an entire book of all this changes that the only have brought bad to the humans.
