I wish we could go back to Gregorian Chant and the Latin Mass. At age 91 I pray that I might have the privilege of attending the Latin Mass once before I die. God help our Holy Church.
È stato mai abrogata. Per ordine di San Pio V nel 1560 al termine del Concilio di Trento. Nessun Papa la può abrogare. Pena scomunica
Ma dopo il Concilio Vaticano II e la sua riforma della Messa Nuova era ... stata messa in soffitta, dimenticata volutamente. Ma riesumata da Woityla e Ratzinger. Deve trovare ,nella sua Diocesi , in quale chiesa il vostro Vescovo ha autorizzato il prete che officia la S. Messa Tridentins : giorni ed orario. E nella sua regione. Si costituisce un Coetum fidelium (Gruppo di fedeli per regione, provincia, diocesi. Così facciamo in Italia. Penso in tutta la Cattolicita'. Per esempio a Napoli ci sono 7 chiese in cui viene celebrata. Anche se stanno cominciando a boicottarla con futili motivi. Io sono di Sorrento (provincia di Napoli ). Nella mia diocesi (Sorrento -Castellsmmare) il Vescovo l'ha autorizzato da 8 anni circa bella chiesa del Gesù a Castellammare , di domenica, alle 10.30. Così sono costretta a prendere il treno, ma ci 25 minuti, per arrivare lì. Fortunatamente 5 minuti dalla stazione. A Napoli ci vuole h 1 e mezza di viaggio. A Pozzuoli il Vescovo ha vietato la Messa che si svolgeva da anni. Così all'improvviso. Lo stesso è capitato alla storica chiesa di San Ferdinando di Palazzo , a lato del Palazzo Reale. I fedeli stanno lottando . Hanno deciso di rivolgersi alla Santa Sede.
Papa Giovanni Paolo II l'ha permesso negli anni '80 . Ma specialmente con la Bolla "Summorum" di papa Benedetto XVI è stata potenziata dal 2008. Attualmente tollerata da Papa Francesco e dai modernisti Cardinali . Comunque la Messa Tridentina Tradizionale di San Pio Va,

Arriving to Australia, having been in France and Sweden for catholic masses, I found out the credo is not universally sung in our churches. I'm really missing it here

Grande il gregoriano. Inizia come solista a 11 anni in collegio. Quanto tempo che non sento questa musica. Io suono ma la musica ecclesiastica è un caos arminico con melodie e interpretazione più da palcoscenico. Qui ho ascoltato chi eravamo e cosa dovremmo esprimere togliere tutto il resto. La chiesa non è. Un palcoscienico come urlo sempre.
E' bellissimo. Io lo canto dal tempo del liceo e ne rimango sempre affascinato.

Ho cantato come prima voce, nella parocchia di Dalhem (Belgio) per anni questi canti splendidi e, tornata in Italia, dopo ii Vaticano I - II ho lasciato la chiesa nella quale non trovavo più alcuna spiritualità, lasciata alle chitarre ed ai canti laici
I sang as 1st voice these Gregorian hymns in Dahlem (Belgium) and stopped being a catholic after returning to Italy to find Varican I . II that left out all spirituality
Mi rattrista molto quanto mi pare di capire dal tuo commento, che hai lasciato la chiesa cattolica. Spero questo non significi che hai lasciato la fede in Cristo. Personalmente la vedo come te: con il Concilio Vaticano II Satana é entrato in Vaticano, come disse Padre Pio a Don Amorth. Con Bergoglio falso Papa siamo arrivati al baratro finale. Tuttavia non bisogna per questo abbandonare la Chiesa cattolica. La ecclesia non comprende infatti solo la gerarchia ecclesiastica, ma tutti i battezzati e fedeli. Se la gerarchia ha deciso di rinnegare la fede vera e ha rovinato la Liturgia con l'introduzione della penosa messa Novus Ordo, che é quella che di solito viene celebrata ogni domenica, non bisogna per questo uscire dall' ecclesia. Se gli alti prelati e la maggioranza dei preti vogliono diventare apostati e idolatri e trastullarsi con stupide musichette, chitarre e tamburelli che lo facciano. Ma la Chiesa siamo anche noi laici. Se loro ci abbandonano, noi dobbiamo rafforzarci ancora di piú nella Fede e sperare per un cambiamento in meglio. La Chiesa cattolica é stata fondata da Gesú su di San Pietro e questo rimane la veritá centrale alla quale ogni cattolico deve aggrapparsi. Grazie a Dio si possono sentire queste bellissime musiche gregoriane su youtube. Spero che un giorno si torni al Vetus Ordo e Bergoglio falso papa sia cacciato a calci nel sedere dal soglio di Pietro. Per il momento la situazione é assai deprimente ma non bisogna disperare.

I belonged to a parish where this was sung every Sunday by both choir and congregation. It was not in the extraordinary form of the Mass but in the Novus Ordo form. It can be done! It should be done if we want to be consistent with what the Church fathers wrote in the document on the sacred liturgy from the 2nd Vatican Council.

PAZ! HARMONIA, CURA INTERIOR, é assim que eu sinto no Canto Gregoriano no Mosteiro de São Bento.
Riconosco che l’educazione cattolica che ho ricevuto mi ha dato la migliore formazione possibile per la posizione atea di cui godo oggi. Dogma, follia sessuale, ipocrisia e ingenuità sconsiderata hanno reso facile respingere la posizione della Chiesa praticamente su ogni possibile questione. Ciò che ricordo come il risultato benefico di tutte queste sciocchezze è la musica. Il Credo gregoriano è un bellissimo brano musicale e lo ascolto, insieme ad altra musica liturgica, ogni giorno della mia vita. I testi che pubblicizzano esseri soprannaturali immaginari sono solo bizzarre distrazioni. Nonostante le loro affermazioni odiose, non possono far deragliare la bella musica. Grazie per aver pubblicato questa bella interpretazione del Credo. Compongo, arrangio e registro variazioni di questa esatta melodia. Incorporo ottoni e percussioni dell'Africa occidentale, strumenti a corda arabi e sapori highlife/jazz. Niente è sacro. Niente di niente.
