@@MisterChibs Optical has bad jitter performance versus USB
@@denis4072 Galvanic isolation is no gimmick when you’re using a gaming PC source. It’s the difference between ground loops and noise versus dead silence.
I am using Bifrost 2 with Singxer SU2, it is lower model of SU6, I modified SU2 by replaced the power supply to external 5V linear power supply, I feed coaxial from SU2 to Bifrost 2, sound is better than I feed USB to Bifrost 2 much.
Ok your expressionism says different
I’m assuming it was lost in translation. 🤔
Ohh Ok U get paid by Singer so my original comment was deleted?
Sorry DDC or just a computer interface overpriced jist use a PC with low noice power $100 can brig that outcome
Lol I don't work for Singxer and did not delete your comment. TH-cam automatically deletes them if they're nasty enough to go against their guidelines. Too bad, I like the nasty ones 😉 We can disagree on the 100 $ power supply equaling the Singxer SU-6. After all the testing I've done, I know better. Thanks for watching. 🍻
. Glass Fiber Optical Out from a PC. No noise even electrically possible. Re-clock & cache in the DAC. It's the best possible connection.
Acid Jazz, Funk & Brass 🔈🔉🔊
@@TriAmpHiFiI wish your statement was accurate, It's the fiber doesn't create new noise however, I will definitely pass what's inside the PC through the fiber!!!
That's why I build my own power supplies & filtering and check it with an Oscilloscope. ( All noise has to be stopped at it's source or it propagates)
@@thinkIndependent2024
Sorry, pardon me...................
"It's the fiber doesn't create....." Say what now?
& "I will definitely pass what's inside...." Like a kidney stone or something?
Acid Jazz, Funk & Brass 🔈🔉🔊
@@TriAmpHiFi Let me clarify fiber is not magic !!! If I connect fiber at the bottom of a 400 ft tower my input to that fiber must be a clean signal. ( To transmit without distortion)
Example:When I connect TOSlink from CD or DAC any noise in that source will be transferred regardless of the fiber!
(The ecosystem is always in play)
Pardon my colloquialism's I can explain it in full technical terms if you like?
I personally reduce the power supply ripple to below . 000001 volts in my audio system sources.
Lol
Get educated about physics before you criticize it adding weight and mass to anything will reduce micro and macro vibrations which will benefit circuits, granted you have to have a high resolving system in most cases to hear a difference which most people do not have and can’t afford, so many scepters like yourself
It was a joke. Thx for watching 🍻
The whole point t of this device is to isolate the usb and remove noise. So that is why only usb. 😂
There are other DDC’s that do this with various inputs besides USB.
@@MisterChibs interesting. I have mainly seen the denafrips iris, gustard u18, master audio-x, the cheapest I have seen is small po100 pro. Have seen streamers have multiple in.
Denafrips Hermes is the one I’m thinking of.
@@MisterChibs nice. Did not notice that one yet. Looks up my alley for future purchase. I like to have options.
............. wtf did I just watch? Bro, ..what are you doing?
Nm, in bed with fever. Coughed up something that looked exactly like a slug but I checked and it wasn’t sentient or even alive. How about you? 🍻
You didn't find "The Girl is Mine" authentic because Michael prefers little boys and Paul knew that so he didn't bring his A game....just a theory...:)
They both sound amazing though and the song is super catchy. This sometimes happens to me with songs like Short shorts by the Royal Teens. "Who wears short shorts, we wear short shorts." Over and over for days. 🙄🔫 Thanks for watching! 🍻
To be clear, I don't care about sexual orientation; but I do have a problem with adults taking advantage of minors....just a pet peeve of mine.
When it actually happens, totally.🍻
There was nothing nasty @ All !! It may be when it sees brackets instead of parentheses!!! .( From the Google keyboard.
I'm saying it's just a single board computer with open source software!
If you power a fanless Mini-PC with a low-noise power supply " Voila " connect a low cost DAC for multiple outputs.
Until I built my home theater my test equipment was top of my budget @ 40k
Current DACs use asynchronous communication so those clocks are less critical than the in past days.
Eliminate noise and digital shines add the right harmonics ( Tube or SolidState) it can sound better than Analog
If you pair SU-6 with that computer, you'll notice improvements. As long as you're enjoying your music that's what matters most. My wife listens on her iPhone speaker 🤣
@@MisterChibs Actually the SU6 a computer that's why I use a Mini PC just load Volumio, Daphile or others it turns the processor into a FPGA with more flexibility
That's coming from someone who owned a computer before Apple Corp was founded ( Me)
@@thinkIndependent2024 I doubt the clock is as good as the one in the SU6.
@@MisterChibsI said earlier "Asynchronous Data " which lowers the accountability on the clock works on DACs made in the last 10 years are so MFGs omit that fact and exploit that it was once very important.( Not the same today)
The Asynchronous technique that runs your phone all the streaming communications ( even dial up modems) Satellite communications.
( Eliminate the need for a master clock)
The USB Audio protocol developed about 20 years ago fixed the problem" In the Beginning " USB was not fully capable of audio transfer and relied on a continuous clock stream.
