An opaque airless pump which prevents the formulation from air and light exposure as L-Ascorbic acid is extremely unstable and sensitive and will easily oxidize when exposed to light, air and heat thus rendered the vitamin C ineffective. Note. There are different types of Vitamin C derivatives and the L-Ascorbic acid is the most effective and potent, will deliver results almost instantaneously. Skinceuticals is a ripoff, through they’ve the patented ingredient and they’re supposedly the “original”, the price is simply exorbitant. Works great but oxidizes pretty quickly. It’s packaging is not ideal for the L-Ascorbic acid as it constantly exposes the product from air. FYI, Timeless has 10% available option for those who are new to Vitamin C or have sensitive skin. Mr. Angelo, Skinceuticals has done research on their vit c serum. Result shows that oxidized vit c (l-ascorbic acid) can change color when only 2% oxidized. This means that oxidized (turned brown) vit c is still safe to use and 98% effective. So, do not throw your vit c. You may research on that. Thanks. 😊

I use The Ordinary 8% Ascorbic Acid. So far I’m loving it. Ingat nga lang sa mga fakes kasi naloko nako dati. Ibang iba ang consistency at color ng serum. If yellowish ang color ng serum at di “oily” ang consistency, malamang fake ang nakuha niyo.

It's safe po but Target Pro serums are overpriced. Target pro has vit c derivatives and niacinamide at the bottom of its ingredient list. I suggest replace it with niacinamide with zinc serum, you'll save money and avoid redundancy.
