Mum had me helping her with woodwork as well as cooking. So it was nice and balanced. My gender only feels restrictive when people start to impose shit on it.
So, the clitoria flower is one of my favorites too, but not for the name and the suggestive shape, but it's beautiful color and it's really insanely cool properties. It's clitoria ternatea, also known as the butterfly pea flower. And the flowers can be made into tea, COLOR CHANGING TEA. The pigments in the flower act kind of like litmus paper, the more alkaline the water you steep it in, the more blue and even aqua it looks. Neutral ph it looks more like a royal blue or indigo blue. But add lemon to it and make it more acidic and it goes to violet and even pink. It's being more widely cultivated and more widely used these days for cool teas and "magic" cocktail drinks. I grew a vine in my yard a couple years ago and I really need to do so again. It's color is just so beautiful.

I've been questioning whether I'm lesbian or not for the past few weeks/months (the answer was getting clearer as time went on) and today (or yesterday) I've officially decided that I'm lesbian! So I'm an ace woman, but never let the "you don't have the face for short hair" stop you from cutting your hair short! I have been longing for short hair for 7 years, and I finally cut it a few months ago, and I finally feel cute! A friend of mine in highschool told me I didn't have the face for it and that I'd regret it, and I let that influence my decision for sooo long. Don't be a sad sack like me! Cut your hair!
I mean the most you can regret it for is a couple months at most, the hair has grown back by then. Not really something thats a huge life changing choice.
I really wish I could cut my hair, but the problem with doing that lies in my hair texture. It's that poofy wavy curly hair that would just go full cloud if I cut it too short, and I am a lazy fuck who doesn't want to style her hair every day.

Be that whether you accidentally left an air bubble underneath but the rest of the sticker is on, or its meant to be aligned with something else but its off by a singular degree. These result in either the permanent loss or unable to be realised potential of an amazing sticker. Hair is temporary, stickers are eternal.

The long/short hair issue has been so annoying for me; my whole youth up into my freaking 20s I wanted short hair but hairdressers kept talking me into keeping it long because it needed to “frame my face” now I go to the barbers and get up just short and everyone I know says I look better with it short. Yet somehow I still seem to come off as straight (annoyed sigh)

I had a rep come to my house and after all the paperwork was done I complimented her hair and mentioned that it not only looked great but was practical (we get temps over 100°F *not* including the heat index) and that I was a bit envious because although it wasn't obvious, my hair is past my hips (I'm part indigenous). She thanked me for the compliment, suggested I get the same style - and in that moment (even though I was sure on the outset) I knew we both were aware we'd flagged each other. 😃🏳️🌈

My own mum had really thin hair, so as long as I can remember she’s worn it short, so it was never an issue with my family, just hairdressers worried I’d get angry if short hair didn’t suit me. And maybe gently remind her that no matter how bad a haircut might look, it will grow back and you can try something else with it.

A few months ago, a friend of mine (who's a cishet guy) told me that he'd recently been looking in the mirror and had ended up suddenly confused. (He doesn't actually see his reflection a whole lot since he tends to use the bathroom and shower and stuff in the dark, not to avoid anything, he just likes being in the dark.) He's been increasingly working out a lot of the old issues from a pretty terrible childhood, and the thing that confused him was the sudden realization that he's actually reasonably attractive. Adding to the confusion, he didn't know how to feel about it, even just positive or negative. He was still working on sorting that out when he told me. Also, OT: You are attractive. Sure, you aren't the sort of stereotype I'd think of for models or Hollywood or whatever, but that just makes you more approachable and easier to feel relaxed with. You give fun, young dad vibes, even if we aren't including your wonderful personality in this. You are pleasant to look at (about 10x moreso when aware of what a sweet and kind person you are), even if you probably wouldn't stand out much without the dyed hair (but honestly, have you ever noticed there's a strong overlap between what's considered sort of standard/generic in appearances and what's considered attractive? especially in cartoons, it seems). You are also pleasant to listen to, and I think it'd be great to hear you do audiobooks, especially children's and YA books. Or other voice-acting, maybe. Thinking about it, I actually really like the idea of you pulling a Bob Ross and being that warm, soothing, kind voice that helps so many people fall asleep better. And... I'm sure a lot of the people who called you "daddy" find you attractive in other, possibly less family-friendly ways. XD Hopefully you get enough comments assuring you how attractive and awesome you are (plus you've got Human One!) that it can overwhelm the times your brain tries to be mean to you and claim otherwise.

The cis girl 'no say in your gender' post is extremely relatable. Because yeah! Totally comfortable with my gender when it's what _I choose_ but it's very weird when people make strange assumptions about my being a woman or put me in boxes I didn't pick out.
my boyfriend’s mom makes strange assertions about our respective genders(such as women being more “organized” despite me being a bit of a slob), and even said I wasn’t saying anything about the difference between men and women scientifically(I am a neuroscience major) because my boyfriend was in the room(despite us being so close we share almost everything) when in actuality it’s because gender and biological sex are very complicated and also not the focus of my degree, making it a hard topic to even begin discussing.
it’s kind of nice because I’m being complimented for something I don’t do! but it’s also a bit sad because it’s and admirable thing that I don’t do.

Mum had me helping her with woodwork as well as cooking. So it was nice and balanced. My gender only feels restrictive when people start to impose shit on it.
So, the clitoria flower is one of my favorites too, but not for the name and the suggestive shape, but it's beautiful color and it's really insanely cool properties. It's clitoria ternatea, also known as the butterfly pea flower. And the flowers can be made into tea, COLOR CHANGING TEA. The pigments in the flower act kind of like litmus paper, the more alkaline the water you steep it in, the more blue and even aqua it looks. Neutral ph it looks more like a royal blue or indigo blue. But add lemon to it and make it more acidic and it goes to violet and even pink. It's being more widely cultivated and more widely used these days for cool teas and "magic" cocktail drinks. I grew a vine in my yard a couple years ago and I really need to do so again. It's color is just so beautiful.

When my sister was considering coming out to our outer family my grandma didn’t want her to because it would upset great grandpa. My dad who loves his mom more than anything, screamed at her over the phone and said that she could come out if she wanted to because he was proud of who she is. I have never been more proud of him.

I have a friend who went through this, including a public outing and *very nasty* smear campaign because "If you're a woman trapped in a man's body you *have* to be attracted to men." Otherwise obviously they're a lying pervert. 😑 This was over *ten years ago* before the Rowling crusade.
Needless to say, I was *not* surprised to see those people show their true TERF ideologies.
But my friend, is the one with the "last laugh" because she's come back out of the closet again, wider, broadly using *her* pronouns and dressing/expressing herself the way she chooses - not just for support groups/special occasions - but as often as she pleases.
*I'm* euphoric for her - and I'm equally so for you.

I've been questioning whether I'm lesbian or not for the past few weeks/months (the answer was getting clearer as time went on) and today (or yesterday) I've officially decided that I'm lesbian! So I'm an ace woman, but never let the "you don't have the face for short hair" stop you from cutting your hair short! I have been longing for short hair for 7 years, and I finally cut it a few months ago, and I finally feel cute! A friend of mine in highschool told me I didn't have the face for it and that I'd regret it, and I let that influence my decision for sooo long. Don't be a sad sack like me! Cut your hair!
I mean the most you can regret it for is a couple months at most, the hair has grown back by then. Not really something thats a huge life changing choice.
I really wish I could cut my hair, but the problem with doing that lies in my hair texture. It's that poofy wavy curly hair that would just go full cloud if I cut it too short, and I am a lazy fuck who doesn't want to style her hair every day.

Be that whether you accidentally left an air bubble underneath but the rest of the sticker is on, or its meant to be aligned with something else but its off by a singular degree. These result in either the permanent loss or unable to be realised potential of an amazing sticker.
Hair is temporary, stickers are eternal.

The long/short hair issue has been so annoying for me; my whole youth up into my freaking 20s I wanted short hair but hairdressers kept talking me into keeping it long because it needed to “frame my face” now I go to the barbers and get up just short and everyone I know says I look better with it short.

I had a rep come to my house and after all the paperwork was done I complimented her hair and mentioned that it not only looked great but was practical (we get temps over 100°F *not* including the heat index) and that I was a bit envious because although it wasn't obvious, my hair is past my hips (I'm part indigenous).
She thanked me for the compliment, suggested I get the same style - and in that moment (even though I was sure on the outset) I knew we both were aware we'd flagged each other. 😃🏳️🌈

My own mum had really thin hair, so as long as I can remember she’s worn it short, so it was never an issue with my family, just hairdressers worried I’d get angry if short hair didn’t suit me.
And maybe gently remind her that no matter how bad a haircut might look, it will grow back and you can try something else with it.

A few months ago, a friend of mine (who's a cishet guy) told me that he'd recently been looking in the mirror and had ended up suddenly confused. (He doesn't actually see his reflection a whole lot since he tends to use the bathroom and shower and stuff in the dark, not to avoid anything, he just likes being in the dark.) He's been increasingly working out a lot of the old issues from a pretty terrible childhood, and the thing that confused him was the sudden realization that he's actually reasonably attractive. Also, OT: You are attractive. Sure, you aren't the sort of stereotype I'd think of for models or Hollywood or whatever, but that just makes you more approachable and easier to feel relaxed with. You give fun, young dad vibes, even if we aren't including your wonderful personality in this. You are pleasant to look at (about 10x moreso when aware of what a sweet and kind person you are), even if you probably wouldn't stand out much without the dyed hair (but honestly, have you ever noticed there's a strong overlap between what's considered sort of standard/generic in appearances and what's considered attractive? especially in cartoons, it seems). You are also pleasant to listen to, and I think it'd be great to hear you do audiobooks, especially children's and YA books. Or other voice-acting, maybe. Thinking about it, I actually really like the idea of you pulling a Bob Ross and being that warm, soothing, kind voice that helps so many people fall asleep better. And... I'm sure a lot of the people who called you "daddy" find you attractive in other, possibly less family-friendly ways. XD
Hopefully you get enough comments assuring you how attractive and awesome you are (plus you've got Human One!) that it can overwhelm the times your brain tries to be mean to you and claim otherwise.

I've had a (usually) blue mohawk since my hair grew back after chemo. I looked at my head in the mirror on a day where my immune system *wasn't* crashing and I didn't have a raging skin infection, and I thought 'Hey, my scalp is actually pretty interesting looking. When my hair grows back, I should make sure to let people see it more often!'. That and I'm the only person who's opinion on my hair actually counts, because I'm the one that wears it.
