- I HAD A NICE IDEA - invite the group to the fishpond, cook some food, and have a fun evening beside the beautiful Cateel River as the sun set.
Then I realised that I was woefully unprepared for that, with no lights left at the pond, and a boat that was sometimes not working!
This fail actually turned out to be something hilarious - the whole barkada laughed about it and Madman became the hero of the day. But he still looked mad.
BUT FIRST, we finally dry dock the big boat, and visit the point!

This is the kind of adventure I miss with my friends! The kind when things do not go according to plan. The kind where you have a good laugh with all the blunders you and your friends make. It started with carrying the boat to the water when it still tied to the tree. From there you'd know the rest is going to be a disaster. LOL. I'd choose what you had over some fancy vacation. You rock Daot! PS. Did Juande called you Kumander Bangus at one time? It was both insensitive and funny. Typical Filipino humor. I can definitely relate to that.

By the way - anyone ever dry docked a boat before? Any tips?
The underside of the boat is solid (treated/cooked wood), but they didn't want to put it on wood logs because it might damage it. I don't know if anyone knows any better?

For me in zamboanga,if the boat need to dry,use it fire from the dry leaves of coconut.so that easy to dry and the (sisi) it die.
