Society is full of crap ! I love my time alone. I do wake up at my own pace !! It’s not imagined . I’m here now! In bed And having my first cup of coffee ! Looking out ,, the early light does filter through the bedroom window as I linger in bed with no pressure to be with someone or meet their stinking schedule. No annoying noise from others asking me what my plans are for today . It’s quiet, still and warm in my home. I can do whatever the hell I want ! Life is about what I want now ! And what I want is peacefulness, serenity, calmness and solitude !
Art studio and plants😊 I was told artists have a sorta license to be a bit off the wall. How do you know all this stuff? I enjoy me, myself and I. Thanks for making me feel normal ❤
I agree with this. I’m still married, still running the house, but I’m retired and I am sliding into this easier lifestyle just a bit. I do value my alone time. I just cannot agree with all the “wisdom” out there that believes friends are like mini gods. Nope. I nod and chat. I do have people I can go out with. But after about a half hour with women my age I’m ready to go home.
Well alright but this kinda thinking presumes that we live in a perfect world. Unfortunately we don't. A growing number of people don't even have a one-bedroom apartment! Hopefully the USA solves it housing problems!
You can be happy living in a one room apt alone. It’s all a mindset. But I do think the older you get the harder it is to live alone and maintain your independence. I live with my doggie just the 2 of us alone and I love it.
