Reporting after only 4 days of using your ctm method and it works like magic!!!! I can't thank you enough!! He's 2.5 years old and he would cover his mouth sometimes to stop the tantrum, he even ate all his food today! He even started using his words to tell me what he wants instead of crying and getting angry all day long.... I feel so bad for letting him struggle with his tantrums I honestly believed that his crying and his anger and rage were hard for him to control seeing that since adults can't control their anger, I would sit with him while he flailed and screamed thinking that I am being a good mom trying to acknowledge his feelings, thank God I found your channel Your channel is underrated, it's the best parenting chanel I've ever watched and I'll only watch it from now on, binge watching every video @@MommyAnswerLady
I would cup my hand over the mouth instead of lay my hand flat to where they can bite. Id also have a hold of the baby in a way they couldn't move my hand in order to bite... If that makes sense.
@@ank10858 well, since I have nine children, the oldest of which is 38, and they are all doing great, there are none. LOL This is a call and simple way to teach children not to tantrum which helps them. Nothing about it would cause damage it pain. The idea that any kind of discipline whatsoever damages children is absolutely ridiculous.
Hi! Can I try this method first thing in the morning ? She always throws a tantrum as soon as I pick her up because she wants to be breastfed. Thank you 🫶🏾
@@cybilebenedict What has happened is she has a habit of that kind of behavior at that time of day. It is what is expected . If this happens every morning, this is what I would suggest. Get up before she does. Pick her up still sleeping and as she wakes, feed her. Do this every morning until the habit is broken which should only take a few days. That will give you a chance to also work on tantrums at other times so she will start to understand you will not allow them. Then if she wakes and starts that, you can use it and she will quickly understand. I suspect what is happening isn’t really a frustration or anger tantrum in the case you’re describing. I’m guessing what it is is she cried one morning and that resulted in being fed. Now this is a habit and she wakes up thinking it’s time to cry so she can be fed. Of course I don’t know all the details but from what you have said, I think that’s what’s going on. So give my suggestion a try and let me know what goes on! I’m curious to know!
@MommyAnswerLady I really appreciate the quick reply! Indeed my 13 months old is basically doing it by habit. Today I did the CMT twice and I see a huge improvement. I will follow your advice, thank you again 😊
I love this wise and experienced mother. She is amazing.

Thank you for the kind words!
I remember doing this method out of despair with my toddler, but I only did it once
I will try it again consistently and pray it'll work

Funny thing, colonisers may have applied exact same rules to keep native in control.
