First!! Thank you very much for these tips and advice. My newly 7 yr old daughter struggles with donating, im hoping as she grows, shell let go of the baby toys she still has, the toys that she hardly plays with. Im getting better at hiding some of them, she doesnt even know theyre gone! 😅 With your advice i will replace her toys from here on out. Happy holidays! 🎅
@@nicolem.7925 I suggest you do the number thing. Tell her how many she can keep out and then let her make choices. She needs to learn to let go of things and not hoard items she doesn’t use. When she gets new toys, have her choose which others she wants to let go. And use the hideaway box if that helps. That way she can know she has some things that are out of sight she can part with later. Also talk to her about considering others. How some children might enjoy those things she isn’t using.
