Sanur is actually a part/suburb of Denpasar. I have to admit that Sanur is my favourite. It still has a village feel with the Denpasar locals visiting Sanur for the beach and recreation.

A great resort town
California's Living cost is one of the highest in the US mainland. But, Hawaii (including Honolulu) living cost is higher than California....particularly for housing. Many Hawaii residents moved to the US mainland, about half of them moved to California. It is surprising you want to live in Hawaii...! Malaysia probably the suitable country for retired or for long term living... The living cost is still cheap in SE Asia, and the Living standard & healthcare system is higher than most SE Asia countries (except Singapore). 🙂🙂

Awww just missed you Alina just had a month in Bali, if your going to Ubud and on a budget try `Arjana Bungalows 2` its only about 18 euros a night and is incredible value for money, its has a great location, a great swimming pool and you even get fresh fruit and pancakes for breakfast and its next to a great walk, i had originally booked 5 days but book another 5 days as i love it so much...

Singapore what to do: Chinatown hawker centers , for foodies. Clark Quay- just another watering hole. Night Safari. Take the cable car ride to sentosa island. At sentosa island there is a beach that had a sign showing how far you are from ther equator. Also Singaporans like to say lah at the end of their sentence.

My view, don’t return to Canada unless its a family emergency. Everything is so expensive there and its not like it used to be. You would want to have a home place somewhere more affordable and have the option to travel inexpensively when you feel the wanderlust! But if you want to give up the lifestyle, then Canada isn’t a bad place to live.

Yeah it's horrible what has been happening in a lot of countries. It hasn't been nearly that bad in Bali because it's below the equator.

It's a bit of both sadly. The water is not nearly as clear here in comparison to the south because Sanur is the harbor that a lot of boats come into, so it gets polluted from that and yeah, just some parts of the beach have quite a bit of trash laying around.

Loved your videos in China! Did you let your apartment go in Thailand? If I recall, you were settling there. Thailand internet is far better than Bali because of better government attention..
I just made a video with the apartment I was renting for a month at the time speculating if this was a country I should settle down in, nothing permanent yet :)
