    I didn't know you could still get wire tie balers. Least the rats and mice wouldn't bust the strings!

    We never used the wire on our bales. Have a good one!

      I think we always have. Not sure why, I'll have to ask dad if there is a specific reason.
      Thanks for watching!

    That looks to be the easiest and most efficient way to bail hay and put it in storage.

    Raised around grain farming all my life, never knew much about hay until I started playing Farm Simulator. I thought an auto stacker was a cheat in the game...amazed at how yours works. Blue side up!

    I grew up in rural Michigan and worked dairy farms until I graduated high school in 80, then worked a sawmill for 6 months, got laid off, and then joined the AF. I'm surprised to see you using wire twine. Ours was always just rope twine. Seems like the wire would be difficult to work with, but my knowledge is very limited. Your hay wagon is amazing! We always hand stacked the wagons about 9 and sometimes 10 high. Thanks so very much to the farmers like you and your family!

      We have always used wire since I've been around. Not sure if the reasoning behind it, it's just all i've ever known.
      Yes, the hay wagon saves a lot of labor for sure!

    Used to haul hay as an older teen. We used hay hooks and chaps.

    • @ohioflyingfarmer7050
      @ohioflyingfarmer7050  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've seen some hay hooks laying around, but can't say I've ever had the "pleasure" of using one!

    • @captmic
      @captmic ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ohioflyingfarmer7050 try using one hay hook. Use your dominant hand. You can drag a bale around without lifting the full weight and can throw the bale easier due to leverage. Just don’t be close to others while you practice!

      Yeah, that wagon has been around my whole life! I've only had to stack bales on a wagon in the field when I worked for other farmers a couple times growing up.

    That bale stacking wagon is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. We used to load flatbed tractor trailer to transport it home and guess who got to heave bales. I got all old Deere tractors, newest 7410 but all made in the USA with USA parts. The new stuff is shit so the dealer is doing you a favor. Love your content.

    Great family fun at 1st of video. Checked out the corn as you were driving and it looks good...hope it makes and doesn't burn. Our local farmers lost their corn to drought. John Deere...love the sound the engine makes. Antique JD tractors bring back precious memories of my grandfather who taught me how to listen for them in the neighboring fields during farming season. 🇺🇲🛻🌻🌽🚜🇺🇲

      @@ohioflyingfarmer7050 the rolling rack needs rebuilding and the single bale unload takes some finesse. And just more adjustment on the trip levers.
