Fist piece of advice I give people that want to go out and play life acoustic shows. Commit roughly 30 songs to memory. So you're able to play them at the drop of a hat without scrolling trough a tablet. This will give you a solid foundation. Engage, interact, perform, don't read.
Hahah the TH-cam suggested auto-replies are as follows: “Have fun!” “not that I know of” “No, sorry” and yeah man honestly just reaching out directly and having a reel, bio, social media etc is the best thing. We’ll real best thing is having a friend who can’t make a gig and getting a sub gig and doing a great job. But normal circumstances is just reaching out!
Oh man I usually do a bunch of Rolling Stones, Tom petty, Springsteen, Jackson Browne, shit like that. I loop a bunch of four chord songs and go from one straight into the next. What kind of music do you like and I’ll give you some suggestions
Hold TF up... you have a picture... of Marty Janetty... AT A BEACH... in the background. Tell me more about this making money playing acoustic gigs... (Pops a can open)

☝️ Solid advice. Once you've got 30, get 30 more down. Then it's more of a onesy-twosey kind of deal....
Thanks for the video, any more tips for booking the gigs themselves?

If you're booking pubs6, just nipping in for the odd pint and getting to know the staff works. Also have decent demo videos ready.
So what are some good songs to play at an acoustic gig?
