Good job. I just started doing solo gigs since October of last year and I'm loving it. It was my dream after having played with live bands since my youth. I'm now 62 and I play rhythm and lead. I use backing tracks of cover songs and I also make my own backing tracks with drums, bass and rhtym guitar. I love to play Country, rock, reggae and some jazz and island music.
Thanks for taking us with you Frankie, that was a great video post indeed. Even loved seeing the seagulls at the beginning. Hitchcock was great too. You are great at what you do, best wishes from Northern Ireland. 🌌🌅🌠🕊😉👍🏻
Never forget your guitar stand and phone stand and spare strings as well. A nice juice bottle to keep yourself hydrated. If you don't have a tuner you can tune to a song on your phone that's in the key of E. In my case I usually tune my guitar to The Eagle's New Kid In Town
Frank some songs I enjoy looping on (the Commodores) Easy - out of reach - (Gabrielle) Along the watchtower - I was only joking by Rod S amongst many others…Vinnie
Nice video. Fine singing, guitar playing. Peter, Paul, Mary song "There is Love" (Wedding Song) Noel Paul Stookey would be have been a good song to play immediately after ceremony.
It’s always a little funny when I bust them out at an open mic to clean the mic before I play … lol people look at me like I’m nuts but I mean cmon. Everyone is screaming into the same mic all night lol
@@FrankPersico the other thing you have to worry about is all those people who have no qualms about getting up in your face or shaking your hand whenever they’re sick. I’m to the point now where I don’t even want to shake anyone’s hand anymore. I don’t even think I want a fist bump.
Your vids are real and appreciated.
No pretentious crap.
Sounding geaet!
Love it!
I appreciate the comment and thanks for supporting the channel!! Cheers
A huge thank you, Frank! From Sydney, Aust, and just starting out in the solo gig world! You've really saved my arse! Thanks, mate!
Glad to help! Keep rocking!

Do you ever get robbed, ripped off or threatened?
No so far so good. Though someone did try to steal a tip from me one night: see my video “the art of the tip up”
