    I love BTS like this and I love your mini OB truck.. err, trailer. I usually TD or direct at the AHL level and I'm just starting to get into NHL and now CFL (starting over at the bottom of the food chain of course, hauling triax) and I love that big or small all the little parts are still there.

    Crazy British question - high school and colleges here don;t have enough money for anything, how do they raise the funding for these competitions? Is it advertiser funded? Surely that wouldn't bring in enough money?

    Thank you for this great docu! I have a question that follows me for years. In EU, digital tv is now 25 fps without interlacing (in US, I guess it is 30 fps). In what framerate do the cameras record a football or basketball game, especially when you want from time to time a replay in slowmotion? Are recordings transcoded to a lower framerate for broadcasting? If so, how does one keep the video smooth, as dropping frames makes video "stutter" in case of fast movements. I'm very interested how this issue is tackled nowadays.

    Is your clock generated from the graphite system? Or is that pulled from something else? I like how clean it is. Great video, thanks for showing us everything in such detail!

    Thank you for this informative video! Do you guys also use PTZ cams in your productions? And how come you didn’t utilize your media stores for the stationary CG graphics such as bug, or live logo, etc?

    • @BroadcastBuddyTV
      @BroadcastBuddyTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! We haven't yet, but I might make a small flypack in the future that would utilize them. Also great question about the media stores! They are in fact being used. Channel 2/4 has a media wipe loaded and holds the background for the 2 box. Channel 1 I actually use to run the tease and feature music. When I call for music during the open rehearsal, I actually reach over and tap a custom control that loads and plays the WAV file :)

      @@BroadcastBuddyTV what do you guys use for creating rundown? Do you use Inception from Ross?

    • @BroadcastBuddyTV
      @BroadcastBuddyTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Inception is an amazing tool, but definitely a little overkill for what we're doing. I do have an account with Rundown Creator, but for this kind of stuff Excel or a Google Sheet works just as well

    Do you guys input the commentator audio from the talkback boxes straight into the press box, and then the press box outputs to the truck? Are the cameras also plugged into the press box and then output from the press box to the switcher in the truck? Thanks

    • @BroadcastBuddyTV
      @BroadcastBuddyTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi!
      Correct. Cough boxes to press box to Graphite in the truck. The cameras are a home run back to their respective CCUs. With the exception of the wireless camera's receiver. That connects through the press box.

  • @wacfilms1

    Can I ask how much you guys charge for a basketball game ?

  • @osusports
    @osusports 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you run the camera wires up the stairs or behind them?

    • @BroadcastBuddyTV
      @BroadcastBuddyTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There was space between the bleachers and the wall - so we were able to run them from right inside the door up to the top :)

    What type of audio mixer did you use?

    • @BroadcastBuddyTV
      @BroadcastBuddyTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The mixer is Ross Video's RAVE engine (which is part of their all-in-one video switcher).
      The mixer portion is in Dashboard and I also use an X Touch to physically control some of the faders over MIDI.
